These people gave you a terrific hearing, they really respect your work. They built you up as their hero. They are talking very fast, however, I could not catch all of it as my language skills are rusty. I can speak & understand most of it but it has to be spoken slowly, but they went machine-gun style talk, also use some more advanced vocabulary. I stopped speaking Lithuanian when I left home age 16, so that's a long time.

I loved the airport.... it is so small that 5 minutes after landing I was outside and waiting for the bus. Vilnius is a great city, where you see the contrast between old and ruined buildings next to the brand new and newly reconstructed ones.... lovely place!
This was a super insight into the reach Bald and Johnny have on their travels. Really makes me want to revisit Lithuania once things return to some normalcy. Went to Vilnius on a short roadtrip from Poland but now time to go back

in fact, opinions are very different. some did not like the presentation very much, especially those who suffered under the Soviet regime, others view it from a commercial point of view (why not save that legacy from the Soviets if you can make money from it) and others look at it forgivingly (there are all kinds of crazy people). and the fourth (to whom I belong) who are simply interested in his observations. where it is worth stretching, where we are moving in a good direction, and so on. By the way, a recent Russian film about Lithuania was published by the famous Russian blogger Ilya Varlamov (whose main field is Architecture). his insights are similar, but he notices Lithuania's retreat from the Soviet legacy. But it doesn’t destroy it as horribly as it does in Russia, it just makes it more comfortable for man, and if nothing is done at least it hasn’t turned into a monster (without windows where there is no desire to live). As he called it, even Soviet buildings have life in Lithuania. that the architects who built the new Soviet districts out of a limited choice of materials tried to make those buildings as diverse and less awful as possible. And as now, Russian architects are building terrible ants with unlimited possibilities, with disgusting and awkward infrastructure. The fact that Lithuanian thinking is already European and he will not like a poorly designed house.
Pretty neutral material as for tv station, encouraging to watch more Bald videos. I am touched by the view of Johnny hugging Bald in the backseat of a car, what a lovely couple.
That was brilliant a real professional news item...the building at the end was amazing just loved seeing it what a piece of political and social history...another country that like me people will now want to visit it's those preconceived ideas being blown away....

Honestly would love for news producers in these areas to allow Bald to perform journalism on their broadcasts, he has a way of speaking to anyone and everyone without being uncomfortable or threatining.

The only two incidents I remember is when he said something negative about an Estonian village and Estonian TV picked it up and roasted him about it. And the time he called a Chechnyan girl "a chick" and had to do a public apology on Chechnyan TV. There's always people with long toes out there, always need to be careful where you step. That's just life I guess.

For Lithuania, it is actually quite expensive. You can definitely find cheaper places, even in Vilnius itself, not to mention other cities. Even in UK there are some places where you would be able to buy houses for that price (not in the south).

for a simple average size commieblock apartment that is very expensive. Just this year alone property prices went up by 20% in lithuania!
