Unfortunately, there will be no December fishing for me. The boat is hibernating right now, and I am not much of a hard water type so this bait will just need to wait for spring for me. I am now planning my spring fishing trip, and it looks like I will be heading to Cherrokee and Douglas in April. I think these would work great there that time of year.
Hey Matt . With soooo many swimming baits out there, is there anything that sets it apart? Rapala has the heavier salt on the belly, keeping the belly down and apparently easier to get the roll/jiggle. If someone were to have an idea for a bait, where/whom would they contact? And, what sort of benefit would they receive if it came to market; an actual bait they helped design?
That’s a great question, there’s plenty of options for that from free product to royalties but it all depends on the brand and person. As for the Shad shape swimmer, what sets it apart is the swimming action and the durability!
Thanks for sharing this!!
Of course!!
Great stuff Matt! I am telling all my friends to like and subscribe.
Appreciate that! 👍
Ooooo!!!! Walleye getter. Too possibly. I’m going too look for those. Never shopped Fish USA. I’ll have too check them out.
They're a great shop!
The term "finesse" boot tail is thrown around a lot... guess this would qualify. Sweet looking little baits for sure.
Yeah, they definitely fit the bill!

I hear ya, I love those lakes in April!
Well Matt…. looks like my favorite winter time swim bait (easy shiner) it’s going to have some competition!😂 👍
Ohh yeah! It’ll probably out fish them too 😉
Those look awesome Matt thank you sir can't wait to see you out in the 2025 season of MLF 👍🏻
Thank you sir!
Looks like they’ll have to catch me some walleye first before the smallies. Swimbaits are a gd bite getter.
Oh yeah!
Could you put them on a screw lock screen lock read a fish hook swim down
Yes

What areas do you recommend fishing the swimbaits? Are water temps important to the action to impart on them?
Swimbaits can be fished anywhere! And the colder the water, the slower my retrieve!
Just a tip...get a tripod so the camera isn't constantly moving around.
Brittany was holding the camera!
@@MattBeckerFishing Brittany!! Hold steady! 😅
Just gotta pretend you are watching on a boat. In 2' whitecaps and 30mph winds. 😂
Hopefully they hold up better than Keitechs.
They are much more durable
