I ended up getting this thing in late 2018.
It started an arms race in the VFBA and is now one of the most well-known primaries in the VFBA, alongside Ethan's Thunderhawk and Keats' FDL-3. Then the Perses Age started, and now I'm going to bolt a Proton Pack onto my FDL and start the Proton Pack Age.

Hey Aaron I have an FDL-2. Btw there is a new motor bottom plate with rail so a forgrip can be added. thinkiverse or however you spell it.
Also Ive been told there are different wheels for different crush rates. So even higher fps! Also a red dot scope really helps.
Mine stock does 150 on junk old darts and 165-175 on new darts.
Also looking forward to the fdl2+ and x upgrades.
Got an Mk2 ammo counter from Nath. The Fdl-2 imo needs one!!!!!
Its so powerful, people I play with want to ban it!

Brushless motors are no joke. Some other videos suggest that the FDL-2 has a muzzle velocity of over 180 feet per second at full power, which is pretty crazy for a single set of flywheels.
If you include this in other videos you may legitimately want to consider having everyone wear some kind of eye protection. Getting a dart from that thing to the face is not going to be pleasant.

MGlBlaze the FDL-2+ that Aaron has will not hit 180fps, I have the same one (mine is the Stormtrooper one he showed a pic of). the blaster that hit some very high fps had special flywheels and was a custom job and hits higher numbers than the stock fdl-2 and 2+. I always encourage eye protection when playing with blasters, especially ones like the FDL-2.
