I recently bought an used 2008 Epiphone Les Paul Custom Alpine White. It is quite yellow like yours, and has some cracks on the painting (which I like). Could it have a nitro finish?
Hi I have a 2010 white custom and after 13 years of using, it still hasn’t gone that much yellow like yours. Is there anyway I can age it more cream and yellow? Thank you
@@GeorgeVGuitarsGibson makes a polish that works fantastic on nitro finishes because, well, it's FOR Gibsons with nitro finishes! Haha! They also make a restoration kit you can buy for older guitars.
@@benrobinson3438 Im not a huge fan of anything else than guitars branded gibson. I have used their branded care kits, their strings as well. Mediocre at best, same as Dunlop. Music Nomad specialises in guitar care.
@@GeorgeVGuitars Like you said in the video, not all nitro finishes are the exact same. I love and use MusicNomad products on everything, but for my LP the Gibson polish does that little extra somethin-somethin. I haven't used Gibson strings before. But about Dunlop products, I've used them and agree 100%. They're just "eh".
it looks great but is a fucking boat anchor. Oh btw I proved the Nitro vs Poly argument is BS. I built a guitar sprayed it in poly and it destroys nitro guits! Haha!
Awesome review \m/

Very good review, thanks!
I am glad you like it :>
5 /2 /8 on Gibson warranty checklist should be second of May, 2008, not fifth of February.
Yeah its fine ;)
Date is actually May 2nd. US dates are Month / Day / Year
Yeah I get those mixed up sometimes

@@andre991 Nah, I dont think so. There is a Vintage Alpine version. Or maybe if someone refinished it
@@GeorgeVGuitars yep, I guess it is that aged/vintage version. I found some on the internet just like mine. Thanks!
Добрый день! Вы территориально где находитесь? Инструмент продаётся?
Bulgaria, no it is not for sale.

leave it in the sun
Leave it in direct sunlight

What polish did you use?
Music Nomad Guitar Polish. But I wouldn't use it every day because it would take off some of the nitro, but in this case there was no other way.
@@GeorgeVGuitars No No but I have a similar mark I would like to try and remove.

You are in a hurry right? Russian here... rushing; there..... I think we aren't getting the real story about Ukraine...

I am worse than Russian. I am Bulgarian 🤣 The Nitro and Poly thing is all a matter of personal preference. Whatever floats your boat, no anchor ⚓️
@@AlienSexGodhaha you’re wrong and you’re missing out. I got a 2021 LPC in alpine white and it’s just 9lbs. Very comfortable to play it standing up.
