Niagara On The Lake Canada - Summer Walking Tour Exploring This Charming Town July 2022

- Welcome everyone. Today we visit the town of Niagara -On -The -Lake Ontario, Canada. The town is known for its award winning wineries, boutique shops and restaurants, the oldest golf course and its interesting history. We start our walk on Queen Street and take a detour along the various side streets. We go explore the neighbourhoods while enjoying the sights along the way. We walk along the shops in the main tourist area of town and then walk thru the beautiful park. We stop in at a lovely old church and then finish off near the main popular tourist area of Queen Street.

Beautiful town. Only 14 minutes into the video and I'm already sold on living here. I've decided tonight that i'll be moving to Niagra On The Lake this year. It provides the peace and tranquility that i'm looking for. I'm only 23 but i'm no longer interested in living in the chaotic inner cities of GTA. I'll be renting for 1 year then i'll buy a house out there. Love your channel. Keep up the good work.

I was working in the office at 59:21 at St. Mark's that day - I only wish you walked down the nave and saw the rest of the windows. Many people's favourite window is just around the corner in the northern transept. It dates from 1892 and is made from Tiffany glass.

It's really beautiful town never ending beautiful green trees and flowers look like they take care all the plants really good and the lake is just like Ocean it's so huge I can see many nice house and expensive cars.... Very nice sharing Christ love it

Lovely properties on Queens Parade. A fair few mill at the very least and then at least the same again to maintain it! Stunning location though! That Golf Club 1875 looks like a beautiful place to grab a bite,very reasonably priced too! first newspaper in 1793? Wow, that is some time ago! Ah local post offices, UK is shutting down all ours, we’ve just lost our local one which we will really miss! Some really charming shops there! The horse and carriages look nice, will add that to my list if we go back! Lucky quarter find! Another great tour 👍

I enjoyed seeing the neighborhood homes, art work and learning about the various sites there.
In particular, I noticed the area is quite popular and flourishes somewhat even in 2022.

- That big house 🏘 you looked at in the beginning of this walk is still for sale (October 2022) for $15,000,000 (yes, that's fifteen million). It's a commercial property with approvals in place, which is why it's that much. I love that house and would buy it in a heartbeat if I had that kind of money. 💰💰

Hi Chris nice to take this walk with you around Niagra which is at beautiful. Love the house that is still for sale but then there are a lot of other nice houses in that area too. The park was nice where you took tour family to and the Episcopalian church was so beautiful. We don't have Episcopalian churches here in the UK, well not that I know of so it's interesting to see. Hi! Yes you can park on the street in many places in the town.

@ilhamiturgut9349 there is paid parking and free. The free parking is a little further away from Queen Street in the town. It gets very busy in the warmer months.
How much does it cost to ride in the horse and carriage?
Hi Beth. From what I read it is as follows: a 15 minute ride is $60 ….30 minute ride is $95 and it goes up from there depending how long the ride is.
