      Should I consider it
      I have booked Karizma xmr but I'm not a fan of faired bike but didn't find any better option so after price cut can I consider this one ...

      Oh you already replied while I was watching your video, great. Happy New Year to you too my brother and lots of good rides.
      Great camera work there.
      I am also from Bangalore and I just this week returned from a 1200km plus ride to Kerala and TN, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Valparai areas on my 9 year old unicorn 160. I had a ball of a time. My bike has touched 59000km during this ride. It's still very great for its age and odo reading. But the problem is, it takes a long time touching 100 and it struggles a lot keeping 100. Ok till about 80 to 90 but the sweet spot is 70 to 80kpmh. I have a small issue with my left knee and so I find the mid set foot pegs on my bike a great comfort and I've been avoiding a lot of bikes due to the foot peg position reason alone.
      I'm 52, 5'7 and 75kg and I'm a mad corner craver, I long nothing more than being able to lean my bike at 45 degs or more all the time. I believe I'll have atleast 3 more years of this josh before I want to settle for more relaxed riding.
      I've been considering the cb350s for a while now but they don't corner great and are more for cruising. 300f I felt the suspension to be rock hard on my small test ride and all this talk of vibrations. I come from a unicorn and have my eyes on the cb350s mainly for their smooth engines. How do you think I'll feel on the 300f and what's your take on the 300r. The R I felt is a real hooligan but uncomfortable for long rides. I have a friend's 5000km run used 2022 bike on offer for 2.4L. Want to take the plunge and enjoy the madness for 2 to 3 years before settling for a more docile machine but I'm apprehensive. Now this 300F is coming into the picture and adding to my dilemma. I love the low end torque of this bike but the sacrifice of the top end means it's no different from my unicorn which still gives me 50kmpl no matter what I do with it. And then the 300R factor is also there. I'd love your take on my predicament.
      Thanks in advance and apologies for my rather long rant and question

    • @AverageHumanVlogs
      @AverageHumanVlogs  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unicorn was my first bike. Infact I owned 3 Unicorns, the first lot and then had to sell it due to some difficulties and bought another red one 1 year later. When they release the repsol edition, I exchanged my Red Unicorn to that. We had ridden this bike to mangalore two weeks back and I was cruising at 110 to 120 on my interceptor and my student was riding this bike and he was just behind me all the time when we were in Hassan road. So if you ask me this machine does the job, but I would suggest you to consider the CB350 RS for its longer gear ratios and better touring experience. CB300R has a very small tank and the bike overall looks like a toy for my eyes.

      @@AverageHumanVlogs does the 300F corner well? 350rs is just better than highness in corners, nowhere near my current bike. Tell me whether 300f does a lot better in corners, because it's very important in ghats. My unicorn too kept up with 3 interceptors on the great winding roads around somei tea plantations. They disappeared once they got a straight stretch

      You will enjoy the corners with CB300F. I had just changed the tyres to Apollo Tramplr XR for my Ladakh trip on this bike, but the performance it gave both on road and offroad is also partly because of the good tyres I had. I have not cornered this bike on the stock tyres, but on the apollos and you will just scrape your foot pegs whenever given a chance.

    This is the bike for people who loved FZ25 but couldn't buy it ❤😅. I am one of them 😅. Anyway i ride a Gixxer 155 2017 version non ABS model. And i was thinking of upgrading to this bike 1 or 2 yrs later. I have a few concerns.
    1.) How is spare parts availability of CB300F at Honda Bigwing? We get it immediately or very late after a long wait?
    2.) What's the mileage in city and highways?
    3.) Since there is no kick-start in bikes today, how is the battery life on CB300F? How often do you change it? I hear batteries go out in 6months or year in post BS6 era bikes since there are too many electronics, sensors etc in them. Does the CB300F have a Battery voltage meter like Hornet2.0?
    4.) The only complaint I heard about this bike is excessive vibrations at higher revs. Till what RPM or speed can you cruise on highways without the vibrations becoming unbearable?Can you cruise at 120kmph on this 300cc bike like others of its class like G310R?

    • @AverageHumanVlogs
      @AverageHumanVlogs  หลายเดือนก่อน

      1. Spares availability no idea as I never needed until now
      2. City 28, highways if u cruise at 90 to 100 u will get 30
      3. No issues with battery even with Aux light installed Maddog Delta
      4. Higher revs have vibrations. If u can ignore vibrations u can cruise at 120

    Bro.. very elegant, simple and informative review and impressions.. it was just so pleasing even to hear you describing it.. I ride an APAche RTR2004v .. my concern is even if the RTR was termed as a sports tourer i felt it's stressing my back, my bottom and inner and bottom thighs. I wanted to buy this CB300F . I'm on a bit heavier side. 95 and 5'7" . Would this bike suit me? I'm happy with the power figures .. all im looking to know are the seat comfort, cushioning and handle bar positioning since Apache had clipon bars.. i think this bar can use Bar Risers if needed.. so that also may be sorted.. but my main query is about comfort..

      Thank you for your kind support and encouragement. I am very similar height of yours and weight 85 Kg. I have installed a Memory foam Pad on rider's seat and it was very comfortable during the Ladakh Trip. I had no issues. I do not think we need handle bar risers as the riding triangle seems to be good. I would still suggest you to take a long test ride of the bike and see if it meets your comfort. I have done Highway riding, mountain riding, Ghat and offroad in Ladakh. This bike did not fail anywhere.

      @@AverageHumanVlogs Your reply is very assuring. Is there a brand you recommend me for memory foam cushion ? Also I actually was citing to my wife about Apache's ride triangle being a bit uncomfy for me as a reason to change to a diff bike with more relaxed one, but ended but loving the CB300F due to its VFM when they slashed the price by 60k and that looked like an extremely great deal for a 300 CC. But My wife pointed out that i'm trading a street naked for another one in CB300f. But given it's specs to revised price ratio, it looks like a great deal to not give up.

      I doubt they will launch the cb300f again. I bought this bike knowing that It may be discontinued. Honda firstly screwed up with the Initial pricing, then to make up they gave discounts. Why do you say only 80-95 is good cruising speed? I am hearing this from many youtubers for all the bikes from 150 cc to 400cc. Even a hornet 160 can be stress free at those speeds. Does it make sense to plonk more money to ride at the same speed while getting significantly lower fuel efficiency? Even Speed 400 reviewers say 80-90 is the cruising speed. Not able to make sense of it :(

    • @AverageHumanVlogs
      @AverageHumanVlogs  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a Valid question. The reason why I say 80 to 95 is a good cruising speed is because the bike responds well without vibrations in these speeds. The stopping and maneuvering is also good. Also the stress factor and wind blast on your body is less in these speeds. I have reached a cruising speed of 125 to 130 on this bike, but the wind blast is more and since the bike is light weight you feel jittery with cross winds. This is a common problem with street naked bikes or classic scramblers. You can cruise at 120 to 130, but be ready to experience vibrations and the harshness of the engine. But do not think the bike is not capable of cruising at that speed. It will, but with harshness and vibrations.

    1. Did you observe any rusting issue or paint peel off issue
    2. Does the bike scrape bottom with a pillion on Bangalore speed breaker, asking this because my fz25 regularly scrapes the exhaust on Bangalore speed breakers
    3. What rpm is the bike in 100 and 110 kmph

      1. Did you observe any rusting issue or paint peel off issue - No paint issues. Only I have observed some paint fading area where your shoes touch the support pan near the gear and brake parts.
      2. Does the bike scrape bottom with a pillion on Bangalore speed breaker, asking this because my fz25 regularly scrapes the exhaust on Bangalore speed breakers - I have not experienced any scraping and even in Ladakh with fully loaded bike, I had no bottom scraping issue.
      3. What rpm is the bike in 100 and 110 kmph - 5 and above.
      4. Are there vibrations at high speeds like 100 or 110 - You feel a buzz and raspiness of the engine. but not severe vibrations that is going to hamper the riding. But please note this is a very light bike and when you are riding 100 plus and if there is a strong gust of crosswind you feel jittery.
      5. Also do you expect the bike will be discontinued in upcoming 5 years - Right now this is a very good VFM bike. As in all the Japanese Brands, there will be new models taking over old models every 6 to 7 years. Only bikes which sell like hot cakes will be continued with some upgrades, otherwise any other bike will serve 5 to 6 years.

      You can check the Ladakh Series of Honda CB300F. It performed very well in the high altitudes and you can see the amount of luggage I carried on this bike. I am sure @nabilj1898 can share what issues he is facing with the bike, it will help us discern what's the problem. But you can check the other videos on the Honda CB300F I did touring on and the city ride video for further information. It is a VFM bike for the current pricing.

      CB300F and NS250 Top end speed is similar, cb300F has better initial launch. Good for fast overtakes. Good for take off from signal. Quality wise no comparison between these Cb300F and NS.

      Ultimately it comes to what you really want to buy. Listen to your heart. No bike is perfect. What you should buy is the bike that is going to make you turn back and look again.
