I think it’s deeper. I believe she actually sees colors more deeply than most. I wonder if she has the very rare forth color receptor in her eyes…

@@navatallauner401 Yeah, no doubt Lisa has a profound understanding of colors in a way most people don’t. But being able to describing them is another skillset related to literary language - visual imagery and figurative language, using similies and sensory details, thus allowing us to seeing images not shown on the screen. Not every writer has that ability. It’s impressive, and very enjoyable.

I love the names and the inspirations. I think it shows that Lisa is a true artists because they don't fall under generic advertisement scheme like name of celebrities some brands use to sell their products. Hearing the story behind Meet me in Berlin, I might have to pull the trigger on that one. Thank you Lisa for being so awesome.
Lisa Eldridge are literally the only lipsticks I buy. I love the way they look and feel. I get at least one new color each time she brings some out. I’ve never seen someone so passionate about color as she is. I think she could make anyone fall in love with her colors just by describing them. I never buy the same color twice, as much as I love them, because I always want to try the new ones, and the new ones just as quickly become my favorites. Thanks Lisa!

I always think of that when looking at your lipsticks, because they are such beautiful, beautifying, sophisticated colors that are somehow at once aspirational and approachable. They're the kind of irresistible shades and textures that people want to wear, with a feeling and a spirit imbued in them that speaks volumes in a single swipe, reminding us of what is possible if we only give ourselves permission to try.

Lisa, your color descriptions are the gold standard for makeup. I have low vision, and I often have a hard time picking my colors when I am not in person. The descriptions in your videos and on your site make it so easy for me to choose the colors I like.

Night Thoughts arrived into my greedy little hands yesterday! I tested positive for that nasty virus in Monday, so getting this little bullet of perfection was a welcome distraction. It is even more gorgeous in person! I am extremely fair, with neutral to cool undertones, and it not only works as a true statement lip, nut sheers out into a slightly moody cheek stain! Night Thoughts has been the best medicine yet! 💗💗💗
For the Instagram swatches, I would love to see Atomic Cherry against Palazzo, and Velvet Morning against Strawberry Shock!

It wouldn’t be a Lisa Eldridge lipstick launch without brilliant color concepts and curation! Loving all the evocations of the different shades: I’ve never felt quite comfortable in the spotlight that comes with wearing very vivid colors, but New Wave and Skyscraper Rose look like purply-pink dragon fruit heaven. Love your work as always ♥️ I’ll be on a no-buy for the rest of the year but I can’t wait to see these beauties on everybody!
Ever since I went fragrance free in 2017 (hives 😞) lip products were the absolute hardest to shop for. I’m so thankful that your lipstick line is fragrance free, and that you have a wide range of gorgeous shades and finishes! Have my alarm set for the launch 💕

I will never understand fragrance/weird vanillas added to lipstick. Only acceptable in Kissing Potion and Lip Smackers, my 70s teen faves.

I have never bought another brand of lipstick.
I remember setting my alarm for the exact time when the first batch was came out and I literally bought all the different tones of red.
I was in the movies when the alarm went off, at that time so I remember the situation really well. 😂

I just ordered Night Thoughts, Palazzo, Kitten Mischief and Spirited Away. I think these four will make a wonderful and shiny lip wardrobe for the coming seasons and events. I have been a longtime viewer and appreciator- since the beginning, albeit not on this account.
As parasocial as it might sound, we have been through many seasons together (as content creator and viewer), and your artistry has always comforted and inspired me. Your community also really exemplifies the world you have been able to build. One of wonder and beauty. I am so glad to finally get a hold of these gorgeous products, and especially as I age I love more moisturizing formulas. I am so deeply excited, and hope to find a good match for the foundation as well.
I am in the midst of changing careers after being overworked for over a year, and this is exactly the treat I deserved and needed, and I believe these lipsticks (perhaps as silly as it might sound to some) might help me remind myself that I am courageous, creative... and beautiful!

New Wave is a really underrated variety of purple that should be the next trend thanks to you Lisa, making a higher-end version of it now 🙌 I used to wear a drugstore version of that color years ago. No one else (in my peer group, anyway) was really wearing that kind of color then. The formula was not agreeable but I've been longing to find a color like it in a more high-quality lipstick. Every other purple back then was too vampy plum which sadly clashes with my skin, too neon, or too reddish, turning into a berry wine shade. You've nailed it here.
Props to Strawberry Shock too. I was drawing comparisons to Velvet Morning, but I'm guessing Morning has a more orange current to it?

My low buy year included a rule "Lisa Eldridge brand is excluded from all the rules". At this point, I can call myself a collector of all the makeup items, some jewelry items, and sweatshirts. I haven't missed one launch since the creation of your brands. Friday cannot come fast enough! Palazzo is my extra side in a lipstick bullet!

New Wave is stunning! Her arrival is serendipitous for me, as a friend and I were just reminiscing yesterday about the '80's; the new wave/punk scene, with the fantastic music, fashion and make-up, and then along comes Lisa Eldridge with this bloody perfect lipstick shade called New Wave :) So I'll be getting that one, for sure. Thank you, Lisa
I bought the Palazzo lipstick in-store, and honestly, it is the most gorgeous shade. This was my first time buying one of Lisa's products and I have some thoughts. The formula is excellent in the sense that it's super easy to apply, it glides effortlessly and it's buildable (also doesn't dry out the lips). However, on me, it really doesn't last more than 30-60 minutes, especially when talking, which is a total bummer. It doesn't really last with food either. Also, as the shade wears off, it sticks to the outlines of my lips and creates this weird look. I'm figuring out ways to make it last, but just on its own, it doesn't have great wear. I definitely preferred this formula to her velvet lipsticks, as those were quite drying when I tried them on. Hopefully, we get some improvements in the future, because I'm willing to give the brand another chance.
These are gorgeous shades! This is one of my favorite formulas of all time. I think I have all your lipsticks except Atomic Cherry for some reason. Anyway, I can't wait to go tell my Lisa Eldridge collection they are going to have some new siblings!!!!

So impressive, all of the colors have such depth and complexity to them. Lisa's genius is that Luxuriously Lucent are slightly translucent/sheer, if they were traditionally opaque lip colors, some would be too much but here, the sheerness works beautifully, allowing for building up color and intensity. I love how Lisa's descriptions bring the colors to life. Can't wait to try these! And I adore that nail color - perfect for summer....
