But being able to describing them is another skillset related to literary language - visual imagery and figurative language, using similies and sensory details, thus allowing us to seeing images not shown on the screen. Lisa Eldridge are literally the only lipsticks I buy. I love the way they look and feel. I get at least one new color each time she brings some out. I’ve never seen someone so passionate about color as she is. I think she could make anyone fall in love with her colors just by describing them. I think it shows that Lisa is a true artists because they don't fall under generic advertisement scheme like name of celebrities some brands use to sell their products. Loving all the evocations of the different shades: I’ve never felt quite comfortable in the spotlight that comes with wearing very vivid colors, but New Wave and Skyscraper Rose look like purply-pink dragon fruit heaven. Night Thoughts arrived into my greedy little hands yesterday! I tested positive for that nasty virus in Monday, so getting this little bullet of perfection was a welcome distraction. It is even more gorgeous in person! I am extremely fair, with neutral to cool undertones, and it not only works as a true statement lip, nut sheers out into a slightly moody cheek stain! Night Thoughts has been the best medicine yet! 💗💗💗
I just ordered Night Thoughts, Palazzo, Kitten Mischief and Spirited Away. I think these four will make a wonderful and shiny lip wardrobe for the coming seasons and events. I have been a longtime viewer and appreciator- since the beginning, albeit not on this account. As parasocial as it might sound, we have been through many seasons together (as content creator and viewer), and your artistry has always comforted and inspired me. Your community also really exemplifies the world you have been able to build. One of wonder and beauty. I am so glad to finally get a hold of these gorgeous products, and especially as I age I love more moisturizing formulas. I am so deeply excited, and hope to find a good match for the foundation as well. New Wave is stunning! Her arrival is serendipitous for me, as a friend and I were just reminiscing yesterday about the '80's; the new wave/punk scene, with the fantastic music, fashion and make-up, and then along comes Lisa Eldridge with this bloody perfect lipstick shade called New Wave :) So I'll be getting that one, for sure. New Wave is a really underrated variety of purple that should be the next trend thanks to you Lisa, making a higher-end version of it now 🙌 I used to wear a drugstore version of that color years ago. No one else (in my peer group, anyway) was really wearing that kind of color then. The formula was not agreeable but I've been longing to find a color like it in a more high-quality lipstick. Every other purple back then was too vampy plum which sadly clashes with my skin, too neon, or too reddish, turning into a berry wine shade. You've nailed it here. Props to Strawberry Shock too. I was drawing comparisons to Velvet Morning, but I'm guessing Morning has a more orange current to it?

So impressive, all of the colors have such depth and complexity to them. Lisa's genius is that Luxuriously Lucent are slightly translucent/sheer, if they were traditionally opaque lip colors, some would be too much but here, the sheerness works beautifully, allowing for building up color and intensity. I love how Lisa's descriptions bring the colors to life. Can't wait to try these! And I adore that nail color - perfect for summer....

Lisa since you launched your lipstick line 3 years ago (am I right ?) I have never bought another brand of lipstick. I remember setting my alarm for the exact time when the first batch was came out and I literally bought all the different tones of red. I was in the movies when the alarm went off, at that time so I remember the situation really well. 😂 I’m French there is no way that I’m not going to buy “je ne sais quoi”. 😉 Congratulations for this new launch thank you for always making us prettier ! It's so wonderful how you show how to "Get the Most" from your products! Such as using a brush to apply color from the back of your hand onto your cheeks as a blush. And with a fine brush to outline your lips for a perfect lip!

So impressive, all of the colors have such depth and complexity to them. Lisa's genius is that Luxuriously Lucent are slightly translucent/sheer, if they were traditionally opaque lip colors, some would be too much but here, the sheerness works beautifully, allowing for building up color and intensity. I love how Lisa's descriptions bring the colors to life. Can't wait to try these! And I adore that nail color - perfect for summer....

I remember setting my alarm for the exact time when the first batch was came out and I literally bought all the different tones of red.
I was in the movies when the alarm went off, at that time so I remember the situation really well. 😂

I can't believe how good Meet Me In Berlin looks on the blonde fair skinned model! I thought it would be WAY too brown on her but it's GORGEOUS.
