This is sad tbh, cause all of you are commenting on an animation budget increase, but it goes to show you that the studio doesnt give BC the love it deserves, only like 1-2min of decent frames. Whereas the filler series Boruto gets clean animation consistently. Oh well i dont make the decisions

The animation was pretty good before the pandemic, remember the elf arc and Julius vs licht

No. Litterly about 3 well drawn frames popped in there, if you go back and watch and pause it you'll see, the animation is still bad.

No, it has not. In fact it was never the issue to begin with. BC has your standard budget for a longer runner similar to boruto.
The issue has always been the horrendous deadlines they have to meet which in return did chase many staff away because no one wants to work under those conditions, but with some planning the schedule has improved a bit thanks to those multiple non action episodes since they require less time to produce.
With a better schedule more people are encouraged to work on the show because they don't get rushed and can give their best, in conclusion a good schedule is vital in an anime production.

boruto definitely sees a massively better animation than this show, even during arcs when theres no fighting. black clover has yet to see a quality in animation like the sakuga fights in boruto where sakura fights the fake uchiha dude or naruto+sasuke vs the Ōtsutsuki guy.
its obviously a matter of budget, no matter how you cut it. lets be reasonable.

That’s the whole point though, they are trying to mimic his success by bargaining with the devil of the spade kingdom. They think that if they can hand over Asta and his grimoire then they can be strong and important too.
@@snuckytoes8427 Because they have no idea what Spade's current policy is :p. If they make it to Spade, they'll be killed on sight or enslaved, no one will give them time to talk... And having Nero and/or Asta and/or his grimoire wouldn't have changed anything.

@@bluecat6783 Squads HQ aren't secret at all ;). Black Bulls HQ is the only one wich can be a little difficult to locate, since it's mobile. If Spade Kingdom needs a handful of obscure peons for strategic intelligence, there's no point even considering a war ^^.

How tf does Black Clover have better filler than Boruto’s canon?
Because this is the first filler arc black clover has done, unlike boruto where 90% of it is filler

Nah this is all thanks to our night in shining armor our animation director he has been fixing the schedule while this filler arc has happened and its A little better than it used to be so people are more willing to animate for black clover

They might if they end up in Spade Kingdom in like in anime canon episodes within the arc
This arc was filler anyway
I think the implication at the end of the episode is that they will either die in the spade kingdom or on the way there. That is why there was such an emphasis on their masks buried into the snow and there was also Bow's confession to the viewer. She deserved whatever fate awaits her, she basically hated everyone just because she got bullied. Asta and the other peasants have been getting bullied way worse, but they don't do what Bow did.
I still love this series anyway

Broo, I ws literally about to write this! I wouldn't be surprised, they are both made by the same animation studio. Pierrot probably realized they didn't use that beast from the boruto opening, so they decided to use it here.

personal enjoyment doesn't equal quality. I really like BC but its like a B+ show overall. Stuff like Berserk, Vagabond, Oyasumi Pun Pun, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, etc are a lot better.

Is this show worth a watch? I prefer the fantasy adventure animes.
It is definitely worth a watch. It takes about 20 episodes to get really good, but if you have patience you will enjoy it.
That’s a deadly trio. Fuegoleon, Nozel, and Yami they seem to work together well 👀
Can we just talk about how good Fuegoleon, Nozel and Yami are working together? Of course, they usually don't really see eye to eye, at least Nozel doesn't, but they still match their attacks to perform awesome combo's, without fail

As stated they wanted to finish up the training arc as the ending of season 3 and expect to start season 4 with the start of the spade arc
The Captains and squads work so much better together now. Awesome to see them coming togther and unite instead of being at each other's throat constantly.
The ending of this episode was AMAZING.

This lowkey was the best anime only arc in all of anime. This arc was necessary and showed the impact of the ELF Invasion on the common citizens in the Kingdom, I really enjoyed this arc.
This wasn't a bad arc including when damantio use asta and nero as scapegoat
