Just here before the "budget" has increased comments. No, it has not. In fact it was never the issue to begin with. BC has your standard budget for a longer runner similar to boruto. The issue has always been the horrendous deadlines they have to meet which in return did chase many staff away because no one wants to work under those conditions, but with some planning the schedule has improved a bit thanks to those multiple non action episodes since they require less time to produce. With a better schedule more people are encouraged to work on the show because they don't get rushed and can give their best, in conclusion a good schedule is vital in an anime production.

boruto definitely sees a massively better animation than this show, even during arcs when theres no fighting. black clover has yet to see a quality in animation like the sakuga fights in boruto where sakura fights the fake uchiha dude or naruto+sasuke vs the Ōtsutsuki guy. its obviously a matter of budget, no matter how you cut it. lets be reasonable.

Nah this is all thanks to our night in shining armor our animation director he has been fixing the schedule while this filler arc has happened and its A little better than it used to be so people are more willing to animate for black clover
I think the implication at the end of the episode is that they will either die in the spade kingdom or on the way there. That is why there was such an emphasis on their masks buried into the snow and there was also Bow's confession to the viewer. She deserved whatever fate awaits her, she basically hated everyone just because she got bullied. Asta and the other peasants have been getting bullied way worse, but they don't do what Bow did.
The Captains and squads work so much better together now. Awesome to see them coming togther and unite instead of being at each other's throat constantly.
That legit just the ice monster from boruto op4 I guess the reason it wasnt in an actual boruto episode was because it was destroyed by the captains on its way there.
Can we just talk about how good Fuegoleon, Nozel and Yami are working together? Of course, they usually don't really see eye to eye, at least Nozel doesn't, but they still match their attacks to perform awesome combo's, without fail

People always complain about animations, but you know what Black Clover really needs? Better sound effects! I mean yea, they do have some really good ones here & there but moments like when Asta put his sword into Zagred when he was already cut by Yami, the sound should’ve been more impactful.
personal enjoyment doesn't equal quality. I really like BC but its like a B+ show overall. Stuff like Berserk, Vagabond, Oyasumi Pun Pun, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, etc are a lot better.

Such a fun sequence to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! My favorite part was watching Yami jump off of Nozels shining regal spear spell to deliver his finishing spell to the enemy! PS: was it me or was the animation pretty solid this episode? Asking for a friend haha

In my opinion this was a really good episode
This is sad tbh, cause all of you are commenting on an animation budget increase, but it goes to show you that the studio doesnt give BC the love it deserves, only like 1-2min of decent frames. Whereas the filler series Boruto gets clean animation consistently. Oh well i dont make the decisions
