    Thank you for your advice. Outside of the topic, as a Spanish speaker, your English is very good to listen and understand. Nice video!

    I'm a DevOps Engineer, with a SysOps background as a Red Hat Certified Engineer background.
    Recently passed AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Exam and now prepping for AWS SysOps Associate. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be putting @ 2 hours a day using Udemy Ultimate AWS Certified SysOps
    Administrator Associate 2023 by Stephane Maarek but ill take a look at Cloud Academy courses.

    Thank you so much for the tips. I didn't know Neal Davis was on Udemy. I will have to check it out. He has been very good at replying to my comments on TH-cam. I'm new to AWS, but I'm not new to IT. My background is in operations, so after I pass the Cloud Practitioner exam, I'm going to work towards SysOps Administrator. My ultimate goal is security.

      You're very welcome, glad it was helpful!, yes I like Neal's teaching style easy to understand, I'm moving in a infrastructure engineer direction myself, or solution architect, I'm really feeling the cloud.

    There are too many horror stories about people who tried to test from home. A colleague was simply shut down for no reason. You are 100% liable. Choose a decent testing center. Some of them can be quite bad.

    Thanks for the resources. I have a background in different areas of IT and a few certs under my belt; recently obtaining my Sec +. Now I’m settling in Cloud Sec. I have my Cloud Practitioner scheduled in 2 days and I’ll be skidaddling over to SysOps after this :). 3 months is a good time frame to study. I need to work on doing less in a day so I won’t burn out as easily. I’m studying around 6-8 hours a day right now or more. I will be checking out Cloud Academy. Did you use anybody books for your studies? Thanks again!

      Hey thanks, yes I use books on every cert I take, along with video courses, and any other resources I can get my hands on, I like to have a diverse set of materials to get a good handle on the concepts

    Hey. Thanks for the advice. I just passed the CCP and am moving on to the SOA-C02. I have been studying a few hours a day time permitting. Just curious, some of the topics can get pretty deep. For example, EventBridge has OpenAPI schemas. You can really go down the rabbit hole on a lot of this stuff. How in-depth does this exam get. I am using exampro, skill builder, Lynda and AWS documentation as study material. I have found that you could easily spend hours just on one subject. Just wondering how detailed I need to get.

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, yes it can get deep, fortunately the exams don't dive into minutia. all of those are great sources for information when studying for the exams, Udemy is also a good resource I use it almost exclusively. also cloud academy is good if you don't have a lab and want to deploy the stuff your reading about

    Hello I appreciate the insight pal. Did you take the architect and the developer exams before proceeding to the sysops admin exam or you went straight to the sysops admin and got it thrashed? What would you advise?

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      I went solutions arch, then sysops, I'll ve taking devops here in a little while....If you are aiming at solutions arch role I would take the same route but if you are aiming at devops or developer do the 3 in reverse

    I'm planning to take the exam, I'm worried about everything lol. I panic bad. I'm going to buy Adrian Cantrill course he's deep with teaching.

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I hear good things about Cantrill's stuff, I think the biggest thing is don't get in a hurry, take your time with the material, and don't just think ok I'll take the coarse and I should be good, be ready to watch the videos multiple times, if you don't quite get it, watch again, or watch someone else's video on the same topic, do labs and practice questions, till you can pass practice tests with relative ease, then you'll be ready for the cert exam.

    Should we do the AWS Solutions Architect Associate before SysOps Associate? I recently passed my A+ for background.

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I would do sysops first, but it might be easier to do solutions arch first

    I’m currently studying for the SysOps Administrator Associate exam and I’m using Stephane Maarek Udemy course. I’m not following along with the labs that he does since he goes so fast and doesn’t clean up the AWS Console after he’s done. What are some great resources to practice for the exam labs so I can go into the exam confident I’m going to pass the first time?

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  ปีที่แล้ว

      Check Neil Davis's Udemy sysops coarse, it's easier to consume. And use cloud academy, or tutorials dojo for good hands on labs to practice.

    • @GadgetoolsUnlimited
      @GadgetoolsUnlimited  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it makes things easier because the same concepts exist on the cloud as on prem. infrastructure, network, compute, storage, database.
