The best moment in the show, far and away. A mother, strangers, dying, spending their final moments trying to keep a child afloat just a moment longer. To save a baby who will never know their names. To keep the future alive in the face of doom, thinking that it may ultimately be in vain anyway. Just a moment longer.

I would have preferred for Eren to win without slaughtering The Alliance. This could happen after Episode 80 or 86.

@@aliceinthewired The alliance would have preferred to kill themselves by fighting to the end rather than live in a world where 100% of humanity was killed just so they could survive. This is why 80% is intelligent, because the alliance does not feel guilty, because they fought with all their strength and they fought to save a good part of humanity and they did the best they could to save the planet, so they have no regrets, as to what happened. Indeed, they still managed to put an end to the rumbling and save millions of people. Eren's victory is just incompatible with the survival of the alliance, if Eren wanted to go through with it, he had to kill his friends (or erase their memories or remove their power, but he had explicitly said that he refused to do so). that, because he wanted to give them free will).
