BoF stands for BMS of Fighters, a music + chart + bga (background animation aka video) competition that uses an emulator based on Konami's Beatmania series to present people's talent, which teams (or individuals) submit their own entries and compete to see who has a much better/solid entry & which team has better submissions. This year, the competition is called BOFXVII since its the 17th year said competition is made. Usually, the submissions who get higher positions in the ranking get the chance to get licensed and take part of big name rhythm games.
