I don't think I've ever heard both national anthems sang by 1 artist at 1 time even though I was hoping for it. Of course, Alanis Morissette doesn't disappoint. I expected nothing less. A true professional since her debut 30+ years -later- ago.
This doesn't do it justice. I was there and honestly the Americans got inspired to sing the USA anthem by all the Canadians there. It was like dueling pianos, it was awesome.
This sport is just so damn beautiful man. Northern most vs Southern most all passionately singing their respective anthems. Hockey > Every other sport.
One thing that’s pretty funny is that even though I wanted the Oilers team to win, because I’m Canadian, one of the players on the Panthers team is from the same city I am from and went to the same high school I went to! Definitely an interesting but a very proud moment for our hometown and our high school’s history! Saints Pride forever!! 💛💙💛💙
