We do all of our yearly traditions, make the lemon pig, eat the jalapeño poppers of prosperity, eat the 12 grapes and make long life noodles for dinner! The best part of this year is that Jackson was a part of the traditions too! We had so much fun hearing about his goals for 2024! We hope you had fun hanging out with us tonight! garlic noodle recipe!-
garlic noodle recipe-
RECIPE (2 servings each 620cal/30P/85C/15F):
-200g tofu/protein
-1 Tbsp soy sauce
FRY in oil/ADD soy sauce/REMOVE from pan
-mushrooms
-2 scallions
-1 to 2 bell peppers
FRY until softened
Sauce:
-2 Tbsp soy sauce
-2 Tbsp hoisin sauce
-1 Tbsp each, vinegar, optionally mirin
-2 cloves garlic (or more) (I used 6)
MIX:
-160g noodles
COOK/ADD everything to a pan/HEAT UP 2-3mins

More ideas for Jackson, to get a Nintendo Switch game system. To check out the museums in New York City, like the museum of natural history. They have dinosaur bones and many other things. To go to a baseball game. To check out the fall foliage at Upstate New York. There’s also the museum of play. To stay at a Lego hotel in New York. To check out Hershey park, there’s a car museum that Jackson will love.
The space hotel option is take him to the hotel you can see the shuttle launches from. Tim went there during the early part of 2023.

I think Jenn might be onto something and the eggs are predicting a Vegas/desert trip. The pyramids and Eiffel Tower are in Vegas and the space/dinosaur themes are Area 51 and various dinosaur statues around Nevada and Palm Springs 🤩
For some reason I was reminded of the space needle when I saw Jenn’s egg! Jackson’s reminds me of the castle at Disneyland Paris! It also kind of reminds me of the grand canyon!! Tim’s reminds me of a cocoon or something like that!

Tim's experiment made me think that they should experiment with baking soda in the water for one person, vinegar for another person, and other additions just to see how the egg reacts to each.

You should do Happy New Year London with the boys next year. Put the live feed from London's New Year's celebration on the tv and the boys could count down and ring in the new year. That way they still feel like they got to experence the celebrations and still go to bed at their normal time (or at least around that time).

You should take Jackson to Rainbow springs state park in Dunnellon!! Its like less than 2 hours from orlando, and has gorgeous natural springs to swim in, and they do different events like santa and stuff. I grew up going there and it was so beautiful and fun!

Happy New Year! Tim, the easiest and fastest way to teach Jackson to ride a 2 wheeler, is by taking him to a park with grass. My twin boys learned how to ride their bikes when they were 4 at the park on the grass. They had it down in 15 minutes. The grass cushions any falls, so they don't get hurt, or become afraid of getting hurt 😉
Tim saying “I wanna meet Ryan Seacrest” and then changing his mind and saying “actually 3 famous Ryan’s” “Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, and who’s another Ryan?” But he literally initially said Ryan Seacrest 😂😂 I was laughing so hard at the fact that they forgot Ryan Seacrest almost immediately 😂😂😂😂

Here in the UK Jenn, we clean our house, we have a piece of coal and a slice of bread, before midnight, you go out your back door, see your old year out, then.bring your new year in, through the front door, the coal is for luck and the slice of bread is to make sure you have food all the time..😊

There’s a pyramid at the entrance to the Louvre Museum in Paris. Maybe Oliver is into art? Paris is in your future with the pyramid, Eiffel Tower, and the second tower of terror.

So I have done the NYE at Times Square, and yes, it is miserable. I was lucky, it was pretty warm the year I did it, but we arrived at 11am (after arriving directly from Montreal - 6h drive), and once you’re in, you can’t leave and come back. If you’re in the crowd, you can’t really see the singers at all. They come in and do a rehearsal, then pre-record their segment. It’s all pretty spaced out. They do a countdown every hour, too. All in all, you stand up in the same spot for over 13 hours, and after the ball drop, they open the gates very narrowly so it takes forever to leave. We hadn’t eaten at that point, so went for a bite, took the subway back to our car (walking through a completely deserted Times Square after the event is very weird) and drove back to Montreal. It’s sort of a torture… yet somehow for the last few seconds of the countdown, it is sort of worth it. Being with that amount of people, screaming the same thing and celebrating together, it is something.
It was miserable the year I went as well. It was snowing and sleeting while we were outside. But, despite that, it’s still a fond memory.
Jackson has the purest heart. So sweet! Happy New Year!

Happy new years guys! i adore how much you guys love hawai’i and its culture, but i’d love for you guys to perhaps look into the current state of the islands and what the people of hawai’i are requesting from visitors, mainly not to come, as it’s become incredibly overcrowded with tourists, raising the living costs for the locals and damaging the very fragile eco system, i’d really love to see you guys discuss it and think about when you visit the islands again, happy new year again! x
