Not sure where you are getting this but this show is based on a book trilogy, the wayward pines trilogy. Not sure if there is any difference major between the two.
It is absolutely impossible for that many mutants to be sustainable in the environment... it might happen at best for only a few days in the year if they were large nomadic tribes.. they would have to keep moving to find enough food, even if their diet was mostly vegetarian! Also, what the F- are they doing playing townsfolk?? That is not a productive environment, all it does is use resources... what they should be doing is working together to reclaim land and build farms as a first step, since, obviously you got to create sustainability before your stores eventually run out.
All true, however, when you have an uninformed population who think it's still 2014 and a narcissistic control freak dictating things in order to play savior, this is what you get. No real leadership and the control freak with power, thinking he knows best for everyone.
You know what the funny thing is? We see his son, and him wake up with injuries who would have definitely healed up in hibernation, someone needed to remake those wounds. Meaning someone's job is to beat people up, break their limbs, cut their bodies, etc. Imagine having that job.
the whole premise of cryogenization (its not hibernation) is to freeze the body without causing damage from ice, that way they can stop ALL biological activities of the human body, that includes celular death, thus, they couldnt have regenerated their wounds, beacuse if they did then they would have been also able to age, wich defeats the purpose of the cryogenization
"ugh this evil dr Jenkins, i mean sure he saved me and my family and everyone els here but how dare he try to keep us safe? we never agreed to be safe, maybe we wanted to be mutant food? he took that choice away from us!" god what a stupid plot this story has
Honestly, that isn't the part of the plot that is stupid... being annoyed that someone lied to you for a completely retarded reason is normal. No matter how the series tries to explain it away, intentionally keeping all your adults ignorant and only teaching the kids is just illogical.
Im so sick of "twist" endings, this could have been a top series like 4-5 session with humans trying to rebuild and finding out what happened to the rest of humanity but they had to go the arty fatys ending.
Imagine if they kept it going like a traveling show, where they were hopeless after the town was destroyed but caught a signal only the main dude had access too. Come to find out there, there were more settlements. Not just more settlements but mutants had developed a language, hybrid theory, advancements in weaponry and protective equipment. It could have gone on a lot longer
Good premise but “adults wouldn’t be able to handle it” is stupid. Show them all proof. In the end, the fanatics won. Everyone saw these mutants & still denied reality.
If only the Dr showed the mutant to the people, none of them would ever try to escape from the enclosure & people who wanted to leave let them. But throw out time he went from saver to dictator.
Movie premise in itself is such a plothole, with the amount of people of this town, not even counting all the "control" staff they would easily create stable and secure society from scratch.
@@MrMaboboz it's already happening lol , with each passing episode a question that you might have gets answered but you end up with 10 more questions for the next episode
The logic of the movie is kind of stupid.... Pressuring and trying to control these unstable and highly skilled people tend to give the opposite result.
Ok here's my take on this movie 😅 First the story is good it had the thriller feel to it, the mystery, but then it turns out that there's a lot of holes in the plot/settings and the so called savior professor is well.. not entirely capable of handling such projects. But they did explain in the movie that it was just his personal budget that finance the whole thing which somehow explains the lack of well everything 😂 the lack of planning and safety nets and all but overall the movie is quite okay 👍

"Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Dr.Jenkins decided to act God but even God Himself, free from imperfectation, still decided to make heavenly council and also appoint us Humans as partners in governing the world (you know the rest).
The craziest thing about this movie is the intelligence of the mutants, Oh look a truck just made a door for and we will go there for no reason but becus the director told us to, we understand electricity so since the power lets climb over this wall to eat the humans that the director told us about and lets call a horde of friends, Oh look there's a small shed which seems insignificant in this whole town but let's go there,Ah there's a door in the shed, Oh there's a big a big steel door that can only be opened by a card but who needs a card when you have the God of movie a director let's pray and get him to open this door, We can even get through this elevator door that can be opened when the elevator comes down after pressing a button. I really hate movies where the plot is driven cus they want certain things to happen rather than something happening that drives the plot or story forward this is mostly common in horror movies

Ive started watching so mant shows I enjoyed thar got cancelled after two seasons leaving them completly unfinished. Ive canceled all my subscriptions because of it & only renew for a month o binge watch anything I might want to see.
This was one of the best shows that I had seen, the story was so interesting and sad. I really thought that they was going to renew it for a 3rd season Dr. Jenkins sadly didn't count on human stupidity when the gave them a second chance. As they woken up they should've been told the truth if it was too much to handle then put them in the wilderness let them take their chances with the mutants. Whether I was a volunteer or kidnapped to be there I wouldn't been grateful.
Dr. Jenkins was a control freak. That's why he didn't work on rehabilitating everyone to the newer environment. If that happened, nobody would need him to tell them what to do. They would've persisted within the confines of the walls with their own rules. He didn't want the humans to be saved. He just wanted him to be the saviour of the humans.

Everythin' he did was for his ego and his desire for control, not for the good of humanity.
@4winged_riddle95x7 By that logic, we should just put everyone in jail because everyone is capable of committing crimes. Or, you could just ignore all that and say he was just stopping the "stupidity", especially when executing people under constant surveillance because they are living in a sort of Twilight Zone and understandably want to break out of the dystopian town poorly masked as a utopia. He tried wiping the slate clean so he could build his perfect world. Not for humanity. For himself. He showed absolutely no regard for human life and dignity. He didn't even give people time. He just tried to kill them all. For... their own good?
Yes, that's exactly what happened in the first experiment where people are released into Wayward Pines and told the truth, many committed unalive due to depression while others went violent to vent out. In the end they couldn't function as a town. So they tried the 2nd experiment with more controls put into place, that experiment went for 12 years at least judging by Kate's life there
Hold on so theyve been in isolation pods for years so that explains the cars covered in dust the one that tampered to bring people to the town but how are they getting people from the outside??? If it a post apocalypse out there that what I'm confused about did they gather people around 2014 before the event and kept them in those pod till it was time to come out??? That my only question

Especially since it has been thousands of years since a mutant would have seen any of those things.
Uh, yeah. It's explained pretty clearly that the mutants aren't mindless. They're humans that adapted to a changing world.
I like this narrator also...
The lack of logic in this plot is astonishing
Great great series
Its was a good serie. I liked the story. Little sad they stopped
Great recap!! Hope you do season 2!!

Bro no just don’t, season 2 was awful.
This sounds sorta like the series 'From', cool! cheers
I dont even consider watching any TV shows or Netflix shows or anything unless theres atleast a third season.
Ive started watching so mant shows I enjoyed thar got cancelled after two seasons leaving them completly unfinished.
Ive canceled all my subscriptions because of it & only renew for a month o binge watch anything I might want to see.
WELL DAMN SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE IN POWER REALLY LIKE ICE CREAM...LETS GOOOO! BRANDON 😂
@@abhishekn7200the humans still would have said it's the end of days so they would have done anything violent and stuff so I believe they needed dr.jenkins for structure, our stupidity will always be our downfall, everything that dr.jenkins did was for the good of humanity
@@4winged_riddle95x7 Dr. Jenkins forced people to live in a gilded cage where all crime is punished by death, created a school with the purpose of creatin' his own Hitler Youth, and decided to doom every resident he deemed "unworthy" to be killed by mutants when the townsfolk turned against him. Everythin' he did was for his ego and his desire for control, not for the good of humanity.
@4winged_riddle95x7 By that logic, we should just put everyone in jail because everyone is capable of committing crimes. You can't make a decent society when you already treat people like they are going to be criminals. That, ironically, breeds unethical behavior in both the people dictating and those being oppressed. He's a psychologist, right? Then he should know exactly what his actions will bring - revolution. He should also know what he is... A sociopathic narcissist with a god complex who deprived others of their free will 'for their own good'.
You can never say you are supporting humanity if you don't give humanity their basic inalienable rights.
So they tried the 2nd experiment with more controls put into place, that experiment went for 12 years at least judging by Kate's life there
Where did Daniels robot voice go?
best twist ever
The thumbnail lol why he laying so zesty 😂
19 minutes in. I don't get how the outside world is still operating normally. But in wayward pines, there's a mutant threat?
I’ve heard this narration voice before. It sounds like a variation of RC Bray
hopefully it will get a reboot and fix all the plot holes.
NICE!👏👏👏👍 Is there a part 2 to this? If so, PLEASE recap it!🙏👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the video 😊
Ive always been just completely flabbergasted by Carla Gugino's perfect beauty-she's absolutely stunning in every single film I've seen her in😮🥰
Man this show had high potential and a great cast. Shame it was written by a bunch of 12 year olds, apparently.
I loveeeeeeed wayward pines ❤
This show was dope
This one isnt bad. Hormones must br smelly with all the action and oi showers. Hormone partner lol keep it up
Hold on so theyve been in isolation pods for years so that explains the cars covered in dust the one that tampered to bring people to the town but how are they getting people from the outside??? If it a post apocalypse out there that what I'm confused about did they gather people around 2014 before the event and kept them in those pod till it was time to come out??? That my only question
Yes they've been kidnapped and kept in stasis for a very long time only released in batches like a Fallout shelter experiment
Hormone 🤣
Ha, that chick in the bar is the same girl who asked Quinten Tarantino if he would "eat her poosey" in that crazy movie, I think it was Natural Born Killers.
Thanks daniel
