We appreciate your business!
Thanks Teddy. I've owned this watch (on a bracelet) for three years now and I'm still very happy with it. This was my first big purchase into more luxury watches.
I prefer the design to the prx. I also love roman numerals!
My wife bought me this with the stainless bracelet as our first wedding anniversary present (she also got herself the matching lady version) and I couldn't be happier with it.
Every day I put it on and I fall in love with the dial all over again. Stylish and elegant yet simplistic and not too flashy.
My first automatic watch and first Swiss timepiece. Definitely much nicer than the quartz Citizen Eco-Drive workhorses I'm used to wearing!
I bought this back in January of 2023 on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I was looking at lots of different watches but this was the one I just couldn't stop looking at. It just spoke to me. It still gets regular wear and I couldn't be happier with it. It's very accurate and absolutely beautiful to look at!
A similar thing happened to me when I first saw it. I've not been able to find it where I live but I hope that one day they will have some new stock. It's just a beautiful watch.
I love how the dial of this watch looks!
Just bought blue dial automatic with bracelet yesterday. I love it.
Just got this today. Was choosing between the Chemin and the Le Locle. But between the two blue faces, the Chemin looked a lot better in person.
I've had this with the blue dial and steel bracelet for a couple of years now and i love it. At 42mm it's perfect on my 8" wrist.
Got it recently and must say I am loving my first Tissot and a piece of history.
The blue is lovely on this. I got a hell of a steal on a silver face version of this from a jewelry store that was closing earlier this year. It's a nice piece with an interesting and dressy dial
Love this, it should also come in 38-39mm though. Would be the perfect dress watch and for sure my 3rd Tissot. I already have the Gentleman Powermatic and the Seastar 1000 Powermatic.
I don’t know why tissot doesn’t release their dress watches in 38mm. They just discontinued the visodate 40mm and made it 42. It was already on the larger side for a dress watch.
@@mariog7213 true, cant get it either.
Agrred. A really nice dresser if you gave a really BIG wrist. For most of us, dresser means 36-38mm.
@@juniorgallo8786 exactly. I don't want a dive watch.
@@josephwallace7287 Thanks for the feedback, man. I feel that brands should listen a little more to what the watch community has to say. Nomos just released a sport 41mm model but since the lugs are straight horizontally the lug-to-lug length comes to 52mm!!!! It's like a dinner plate in a medium to small wrist.
I bought this with steel strap on the new year day 2022. Its my second Tissot and love wearing it.
Just bought the ladies version of steel band with 32mm case, in blue dial. It’s fantastic.. everything I wanted. For everyday wear and if dressed the attire for evening as well. Perfect price where I’m not gonna cry if something unfortunate happens. Took me 2 weeks looking at different brands … and Tissot had been in my list for some time now. This is my first blue dial so pretty excited !
Proud owner of a silver dialed COSC Chemin des Tourelles with bracelet 🙌
Great video Teddy!
Nice video. I bought this watch in 2019 because I really liked the dial and still love wearing it. Im a taller guy with large wrists so the 42mm dial size is perfect for me. Love the versatility of it too, can wear it casual, formal, office etc. Great watch.
Thanks, Teddy. A very nice watch in a very crowded market segment. Appreciate your analysis.
Beautiful watch. Thanks Teddy 👍
My pleasure!
I have this one but the women's version I think with a bracelet strap (32mm dial if I'm not mistaken). bought it on a whim when traveling. I love it. wear it everyday
I looked onto this watch some years ago when I was starting out into Swiss watches. I think the only thing that put me off at the time was the date being black numbers on white a background , it would to me anyway look better with white one black. I did end up with a Tissot though eventually going for the Seastar PM 80 in black with the date white on black. Still a great watch though and a great review Teddy.
They just released the 39mm. I'd love to see a review of what you think of them side by side!
Nice watch! I never need to see another exhibition caseback TBH, but I guess it doesn’t hurt.
I’m getting one for Xmas. Will get a brown leather strap, mocked that look up at store and will look fantastic against the blue. Then can dress it up with the bracelet. Personally I love watches that can be dress up or down, like my Oris Day Date Williams.
I have this one and still can't decide its huge or not but looks classy
Is it ok to power the watch daily by winding the knob, instead of the usual wrist movement. If so many how many daily?
I just got the rose gold and silver version of this watch for $383 CAD or approximately $280USD. I love it.
the best review i’ve ever seen…..❤️❤️❤️
I like the chronograph version of this watch even more. The size was probably done to accomodate the chronograph version better into the line and not have a huge size difference between the versions
Hi Teddy, great review, thanks a lot. What about the Tissot Chemin des Tourelles GMT? Under a 1000€, what do you think of this product?
You could review the silver version 39mm.
i need this watch chain .. How much ..and where can we get it
I bought this watch with the blue dial and stainless steel bracket a couple months ago. I love it and it seems to be just be but I found it to be a much nicer looking and better fit than the prx.
Exact same for me. Bought yesterday.
Seriously, can we please stop with the: "This watch is too big, it should be 39-40mm" ? Not everyone has a 6 1/2 inch wrist and can rock 99% of the watches out there. I have 8 5/8 inch wrists (yeah, I know) and finding a dress watch that doesn't look like I taped a dime on my wrist is nearly impossible. This one may not be sized right for you, but it is for another watch enthousiast. Let's move on and enjoy these timepieces.
I agree. 42mm is perfect for me, I miss out on so many other watches as even 40 looks small. There’s always going to be someone missing out.
38 is perfect!!!
for a women's watch
I soooo agree
I have an almost 8 inch wrist which suits my frame well. My tudors look like I'm wearing my dads gear. 42 wide and 50 lug to lug for me any time all the time.
Hey teddy! Hope you're doing well, I was wondering if you could do a review of the longiness moon phase watch😅
Hi! Can you make a review of the rado true square watch?😊
I just ordered this.
This watch or SWC Hyper -G for my first purchase of a luxury watch?
Which dial is better on a stainless strap blue or black ?
Is it true that powermatic 80 movement is hard to service?
Waiting for this sq design.....
Great design, wish it had a tuxedo dial combo :(
What’s the +\- per day?
Honestly, I just wish this had a more high end movement with a lower power reserve. I was intrigued until you turned it over. Turned it from “hmm” to “meh”.
tissot have 5 different styles on chemin des tourelles line..SQUELETTE is very nice looking as well is CHRONOGRAPH..i think its very nice line for those who love larger size watches...
I have the one with Arabic numerals and a plain blue dial. I got it from my parents for my law exam and I absolutely love this watch because it‘s so classy imo. Greets from Germany
Nice video
Underappreciated and overlooked because it's TOO big for what it's supposed to be. If it were 39 to 40mm, I'd buy two in a sec
I have to agree although perfect for me if it were 40mm it would be better for most.
Totally agree. I saw it once in a physical store, and it looked enormous. There's no reason for this watch to be larger than 40mm.
For u its small for people who work put and shit they will have 8 inch wrists and 40m looks small af
Why people bother about the possible depth water resistance? I would never go diving with a watch like that, not good for the watch, not good for the leather strap. Is diving that important? Buy a diving watch/ depth meter
Thanks for the video. But if I want a slow beat rate, I'll stick with my Seikos.
Is there battery inside?
Nope
Under a thousand dollars, sure is 950.that being said I love mine
What?? 42? An awesome looking watch, but should be around 38-40mm.
Get Tissot to produce it in a 36-38mm case, and I would buy it.
Same, PRX, Seastar could use a smaller version as well. Really don't understand the >40mm mania from many brands.
@@AboraPearl Agree 100%
@@jollyrob I must heartily disagree with you that a 36mm watch is surely a ladies watch size. 33 to 36 mm watches were the norm as little as 40-years ago for men. I doubt that many like me who wore the general purpose watch issued by the U.S. military in the early '80s that had a case size of 33mm considered it a ladies watch size.
@@reedgrabowski8314 times change. At the end of the day I agree you should wear what size you prefer but to me 36mm looks too feminine on all but the smallest of mens wrists.
@@jollyrob Anything smaller than 56mm is a womans watch.
Teddy is it me or are you getting more and more buff with every video you release? Are you hitting the gym?
whats the life of powermatic 80?
Changing the name to "reviews" doesn't turn it back to a fanboy channel. Adding the web address in the background makes it even more an advertisement channel than before.
The powermatic 80 movement has a free sprung Balance and is Lazer regulated. because of this it. must be sent back to Tissot only to be repaired or simply maintained! This is a long and expensive process and is why I am staying away from these movements!
tudor 1926 is better watch, the best everyday watch is 1926
The best I can offer is to say this watch, though nice, is "pedestrian".
Yea you shouldn't have bothered, that doesn't mean anything really.
Not enough bling for you? Good style does not have bling.
Powermatic 80 sucks balls
This is potato size! Especially for a dress watch...
Sorry but there is nothing impressive about the plastic parts in the movement. Avoid it!
Nice watch, terrible name. 90% of people are gonna butcher that
What's the problem when a Swiss brand pays hommage to its roots ? Just deal with it
No one is complaining about American car manufacturers naming their cars with an English name
Unless of course they are Swiss or French.
@@philspencelayh5464 in fact yea I might be biased as I'm French but my comparison with American cars is still valid imo
@@Damonst3r68 like Chevrolet 😁
So use English names for all watches right?
Very bad watches many problems
