Here's a classic from The Killers! "Mr. Brightside" is from their 2004 debut album "Hot Fuss" and was the first song The Killers wrote. Interesting bassline which includes driving 8th notes, some melodic lines and also double stops. It's a fun one to play. And bonus points for me for nailing that pick flip at the end!! 😃

Merci Erwan. I didn't realize they opened for U2. I discovered Muse that way when they opened for U2 here in the US on the 360 Tour. The Killers are a fantastic band. Their first album was a big hit here in the US and this song has now become a classic, still played on the radio. And this bass line is cooler than I would have thought. A lot of little nuances to it. Thanks for watching my friend.

Thoooooom!!! That was an absolute beast of a performance!! I have to admit... I'm not a massive fan of The Killers but this is one of those songs that I can't help but bob my head along to. It's really, really catchy and it's so damn energetic. You totally nailed that bassline and holy cow does your Lakland sound MASSIVE! Like so so punchy!!! I freaking envy that tone, man. This was a 15/10 performance. Absolutely fantastic, my friend!!!! Let's watch this AGAIN! BASS ON!!!!!
    P. s... I love that pick throw at the end!! HAHAHA. Rockstar touch!!! 😁🤟

Thanks so much Dani. This song has become a classic here. As you said, so damn catchy and a great sing along song. I've never been a big Killers fan but I do appreciate them. It's a fun one to play, though the constant downstrokes can get tricky after a while. Haha, and yeah, I nailed the pick throw at the end!! Right on the camera! Thanks for watching! BASS ON!!!!!

A Mark Stoermer classic. This line completely carries the tune. Nice playing Thomas and super bright tone cutting through the mix also.

This bassline definitely has a Clayton vibe to it. That driving thing. May i suggest trust by Megadeth? Assume it’s not your typical thing but former Megadeth bassist says he nicked the intro from A.C.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. I appreciate the support. And yes, definitely a Clayton vibe to this one. I did see that quote from the Megadeth bassist. Adam is a solid bass player. I'll give Trust a listen. Thanks!
