Is it weird that I’m getting nostalgic over seeing Rob, Nath & Dave in a video together. A great episode. Can’t wait to get stuck in to BG3 later today.
Ahhh good old Nathan. Having him around is like a nice hot cup of soup on a cold winters night. Very comforting to have around and gives a massive sense of of peace and warmth. Good to have you back briefly buddy! Been an avid access fan since the early days so was super excited when I saw your pic on the thumbnail!
Loved this! I know it may not always be possible, but it would be great to have Nathan fill in on the podcast whenever someone else is absent. He is always a joy to listen to.
Anytime these 3 guys get together, you know it's gonna be a great time. Reminding me of the Don't Starve vids way back when I first found the channel. Good memories.
Nath, Rob and Dave have such a good chemistry which I imagine comes from knowing each other for so long, but as a result I could listen to the three of them chatting all day. Loved this episode of the podcast! Felt like a nice trip back to my teenage years 😁
A surpise, to be sure, but a welcome one... Great to see you three back together! Nathan needs to do another day long platinum stream like Uncharted again!
Mass Effect Trilogy, Red Dead 2, Cyberpunk - there's something about these worlds and the stories that just make them irresistible. They're games that I think about constantly, the characters, environments, music. I often wish I could wipe my mind clear so I could rediscover them all over again.
Loved the podcast, it was great seeing Nathan again. An RPG name I love using in games is Roland, I first came across the name while reading Stephen Kings Dark Tower series, as the main character is called Roland Deschain. If I feel the character I make needs a last name, I'll usually put Blacksteel, I've also started using Dawnshot, which is a nickname of a character from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series.
The OGs!! Great to see Nathan back. Pesona 5 and DMC 5 are two games that I know I'd revisit again and again. I just love playing them. But these are comparatively new games. Two old games that I go back to once in a while and still find just as amazing as they were when I first played them are NFS Most Wanted 2005 and Prince of Persia the Sands Trilogy (specifically Warrior Within). Still hoping to see their remakes one day.
@@MartynRice1 It has become a sort of ritual for me. Every time I finish a game and before I start a new one, I normally spend 2-3 days either in the Thieves Den in P5R or playing another round of Bloody Palace in DMC5.
Horizon Zero Dawn and Sekiro are the games I replay when I have nothing to play or just feel like I need an escape. I looove Forbidden West but there's something about Zero Dawn that just calls to me time and time again.
Watching you 3 again on this channel, chatting about games feels so nostalgic. I remember almost falling completely out of love with gaming as I was going through my late teens, I then stumbled upon this channel one night many years ago and it reignited my interest in gaming. Fast forward years later, I am can barely go 24 hours without consuming some kind of gaming or gaming content. So thanks lads, as always thanks for giving us access 💙
Seeing Nathan again after his year or more of hiatus, just took me on a mental adventure into the past when I first started watching PSA with Nathan, Rob, Dave, Rosie, and Elle. Makes me feel old but it's been such a good run and hope PSA continues on for many more years,,, Like a fine wine getting better with age.
Maaaan. I remember when I was 14 in second year in school, my friend and I were in woodwork talking about our favourite fantasy novels. I was on Redwall and the Drenai books at the time. Then he told me about this relatively new series called The Wheel of Time. He brought Eye of the World in for me the next day. I think I was 28 or so when the final book came out. What a journey. Not counting Lord of the Rings it's easily my favourite fantasy saga.
#podsquad I named my BG3 character Vyvika. She is a human ranger who grew up by herself and is afraid of lightning. She is flirtatious AF and loves helping animals. She was created for a D&D campaign that never finished. I’m so happy her adventure gets to continue!
To the topics, my great revisit game has been the BG1&2 ports for PS4. Nath, once you wrap your head around the controls (and set up some auto-pausing) it's great. Also, for Dave, DoS1&2 is great. I'd recommend giving it another go. And, not to leave Rob out, I have to say I do like the look of Sea of Stars. RPG heavy this week!
I love my Team-Bikini but there just is something magical about seen Rob, Dave and Nath setting together and just talking. I really enjoyed this podcast.^^
I started Sea of Stars yesterday and was engaged from the get go. You're right in the story, get a small prologue and then you're on your way the tbc just clicks right away. As a allround gamer i played my fair share of JRPGs, but cant remember finishing one completely through. I was more into action rpgs like Zelda and Fallout. I really hope i make it through Sea of Stars, because i love it so far. And for replaying old games, for me its the yearly ritual of Super Mario Bros 3.
One game I never get tired of revisiting is the Bioshock duology. The world building is just so wonderful and the level design is so incredibly atmospheric. It's one of the few games I don't play while listening to podcasts.
Baldur's Gate 3 so far is amazing. I spent like 2 to 3 hours creating my character alone. The dice rolls feel so good to get. The voice acting is phenomenal. The amount of choice feels staggering. The music is stellar. So far Im blown away. I can't wait to play more.
Had a very similar thing with divinity original sin 2 as dave but recently I pushed through and finally finished the game. A very rewarding experience.
Gandalf! Oh, is Nath 😂 Funny that since I watched this podcast TH-cam keeps suggesting old streams with Nath in it (even if I watched them all already😅). Keep up the hard work guys and thank to all the team for years of entertainment
My BG3 character name is Drengr Forkbeard. Drengr from the norse meaning 'a person with reckless courage in the face of whatever comes along' and Forkbeard was my dwarf's name from BG2 back in 2000! And of course I'm playing as a dwarf this time too 😂 Thanks for another great podcast!
Awesome episode! I recently revisited the first Dishonored and loved it so much, I decided to get the platinum! Excellent trophy list, very fun to complete the game in different ways.
I'm currently doing my first ever playthrough of Final Fantasy VII. It's bloody great and the gameplay has aged wonderfully...for the most part. Just finished disk 1 which means I've just seen 'that' cutscene.
The name I tend to use in games is Zeta. 10 years ago my then-new online friend gave me that nickname, and we're still friends today! It's a mix of my real name and Zelda, because leaving nice comments on The legend of Zelda fanart is how we crossed paths :D
Great to see ‘The originals’ back together 👍🏻. Rob, do you use any graphical mods on Skyrim (PS5), if so which ones? Anyone else have any recommendations for graphical mods for Skyrim your thoughts/advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks
The three boys! Feels like home. I'm still on book 5 of Wheel of Time It'll probably be years before I finish the series. As for characters, I'm a bit boring. I usually have a set name depending on the class. Barbarians are Theoderik or Birgitte. Paladins are Theodemir or Erika. Clerics are Artur or Elenoa. Monks are Ytharra. And bards are Alphonse. This means every RPG I play is those same characters on different adventures. And they all get together in Icewind Dale since you create your whole party in that!
My Baldur's Gate 3 character is called Fellise Navidad. It's based on my first D&D character who was called Fellise Sangar (half-elf rogue) but after we played a game around christmas, the other players at the table noticed that there was a connection between my character and a certain song...
Loved this episode! Seeing all the boys back together gives me the warm and fuzzies 😊 currently rewatching Nathan the Christmas elf for a bit of nostalgia 😂
A Game that I love to play again and again is Tomb Raider Anniversary. My very first ever PS2 game still to this day I have played almost every year since it came out back in 2007
Bioshock 1 and 2 are probably my Golden Oldies. More 2 than 1 at this point, but I love them both wholeheartedly. Bulletstorm and God of War 3 are a bit younger but still qualify for me as well. I'd also probably be able to play Dragon Quest 8 and Persona 4 forever.
love that you put Nath's face on the thumbnail next to "old but gold" xD I hope that was on purpose^^ *edit* ok, after finishing the podcast I now know it was on purpose :P
Games I come back to frequently are the Kingdom hearts series (I tend to replay this series every 2/3 years, or at least the main games), Subnautica (I dont always do full replays, but I often go back just to explore and build bases) and Uncharted (fun simple straight foreward adventure with lovable characters. They aren't huge games. You dont need to learn a big complicated skill tree. It's a pretty simple (mechanics wise) game you can just sit back and have fun with on a lazy afternoon. Other mentions are journey/Abzu and other such artsy smaller wonderous games. They are great to play between big projects.
The name I always use for every game is Zep...(Led Zeppelin) It goes back to the 80's arcade machines when you had to put your initials in for a high score but only had 3 slots. I used Zep as it wouldn't be a common name!
It's always nice to see Nathan pop up on the channel, since Ash/Rob/Nath have all hosted a podcast maybe we should get Rosie and Dave to do one each soon 😬
When we’re talking about old but gold, Final Fantasy VII is the first game that comes to mind. I can’t play it over and over again, given some time passed. On plane traveling? Bust out FF7. Grind a few hours and keep occupied.
Great to see Nathan, Rob and Dave together again!

Great to see Nathan back as a guest 👍
THE ORIGINALS !!! Good to see you guys together again, it's been a while. 😎👍🏾
Nathaaaaaaaaaan!!!! So good to see the guys
Ah what a trio. Great to see Nath back! Happy Saturday
Something about seeing Rob, Nath, and Dave together feels like a warm, comforting hug (but I still love Team Bikini too!)
Always lovely to see Nathan, I do miss his content🥺
Having ‘Old But Gold’ and a picture of Nathan is the most backhanded compliment 😅
I will never click a thumbnail faster than seeing Nathan in it. Easily my favourite Access member
Ahh, a man of culture
Is it weird that I’m getting nostalgic over seeing Rob, Nath & Dave in a video together. A great episode.
Can’t wait to get stuck in to BG3 later today.
You're going to love BG3 amazing rpg!
I was almost in tears when they sang Comments of the Week
Amazing that Nathan is on the podcast AND that he is willing to be the host! Great to see Rob, Dave and Nathan together again

Nice to see you again Nathan!

Amazing to have Nate back as a treat. Very much enjoyed the beginning: " before we go, but first" lol
So great to see Rob, Dave and Nathan back together. So many great videos with you 3.
Always nice to have a familiar host back in PS Access. Its so good to see you Nath. I miss your Rage in games 😂
The old guard is always a treat. Feels a bit like watching Access Granted!
I was sad when they stopped doing Access Granted. Mondays were fun back then.
Nath, Rob and Dave have such a good chemistry which I imagine comes from knowing each other for so long, but as a result I could listen to the three of them chatting all day. Loved this episode of the podcast! Felt like a nice trip back to my teenage years 😁
These three together are the best

Still playing Read Dead 2. Honestly just love playing that game. Don’t think I’ll ever not enjoy playing that game! Love this podcast ❤
Always love hearing a bit of Wheel of Time chat. My favourite book series of all time.

Great to see Nathan, now we just need Hollie.
The conversation just flows differently with Nathan at the helm. A lot more fleshed out as he is a real journalist and a smart cookie to boot.
This topic was perfect for this team. Crazy to have nostalgia on of a TH-cam channel…. Can’t believe how long I’ve been with this channel.
Nathan!!! I love seeing him occasionally.
Yes Nath!
Always warms my heart seeing seeing you three nerds talking about games and life. 😊
So nice to have you guys together again, loved it!
I'm a simple man, I see Nath is back, I click and like the video.

I love my Team-Bikini but there just is something magical about seen Rob, Dave and Nath setting together and just talking. I really enjoyed this podcast.^^
I really enjoyed your guys' reflection on tabletop games and RPGs, would totally be behind more discussion about those!
A good time for this one, I’m currently on my fifth full play through of Red Dead Redemption 2!
