Incredible video documentation. You gave me the courage to finish the interior of my 1937 Pontiac BY MYSELF. I have all the fabrics from SMS and ready to hit the project-- thanks to you.
I will say although I agree with your vinyl wrapping advice, that stuff fades very quickly in UV, If you faux paint it it lasts. I have been head-aching about how to do a woody wagon treatment on my 94 Subaru wagon (insert funny comment), but having experimented once with vinyl , I am considering paint rather than vinyl.
Hi Jayhawker, wondering if you could help me out one more time. There appears to be a lot of parallels between the 48 Chevy in your videos and my 49 Cadillac. I could of sworn I watched you rebuild a set of sun visors which you install in this episode. They look pretty close to Identical to the ones in the authenticity manual for the 49 Caddy. The ones that came in a odds and ends box in the trunk of the car are beaten and battered. I've looked through your entire playlist and cannot seem to see the episode where you redo them on the sewing machine. Am I imagining things or is there a video on this.
did you purchase your carpet kit from SMS ? I saw the video and it didn’t fit right because i own a 48 sedan stylemaster and i’m worried it’s not going to fit .
@@TheJayhawker Thanks for the information it’s at a upholstery shop now and it’s very expensive for the work there doing to the car i’m going to have them make a carpet and return the other one back to SMS .

Yes, that's right. If I were you I would take it to an upholstery shop and have one made. It may even be cheaper anyway...
