I agree with Rick scholes "no greater place than st helens" If you travel along the river towns from portland to the coast you will not find a more inviting place for Growth and tourism. With the right development we could become that special place that st Helens was always meant to be before the docks were damaged many years ago in our infancy forcing the shipping traffic to go further inland and ultimately Portland exploded with growth rather than st helens.. Its actually an amazing opportunity now for st Helens to be even better than it ever could have become before.. I could imagine a great temporary use for the waterfront area as a RV resort that would bring a great influx of Tourism.. and giving the waterfront the income and popularity to make the long term changes we see for the future.. Did someone say "zipline to sand island?" Lol Golf cart rentals for trails, and tours and shopping .. Lots of ideas there... TTYL
City needs to consider parking issues during festivals. Don’t force the overflow on local residents. There is a reason we don’t live in Portland. Keep Portland atmosphere in Portland. Not forcing local homeowners to deal with the aftermath of parking nightmare on personal properties.
Love, love, love this!
Thank you so much for this neighborhood and the community living here. ❤️
Way to go! This is the kind of thinking that made Bend become a hub for central Oregon?
