+s Buzz Thanks! Nice to know you liked the recipes and food. And your feedback on the video quality is much appreciated! I am trying to learn something new each day as far as video production goes so your feedback really helps! I think you can grow Moringa easily in FL. Just order some seeds (Try: the PKM1 strain - excellent for FL weather: amzn.to/1Q4GAEO ) and then germinate them (see my other moringa video) and then they grow very fast. Good luck!

I saved sm cuttings of the brunches whn my neighbour trimmed hers. It grows well...started with diameter of 4cm X 60cm..in a big pot..gave it 50% sunlight n water every other day. Replanted it in the garden n now it is taller thn me..lots of flowers n pods. Need trimmings every 3 months. May be it is easier coz we get sunlight 12h/d.. all year round.

Aren't they a pretty tree/plant. No way would that grow here in North Uk. Pity, it would be good to try. V wet here now and unusually 15* daytime but about 6* night and my garden is like a quagmire with clay and daily rain. What do moringa taste like? Is it peppery? Would love to try that first recipe. Might order some seeds and see if we have a good summer next year. Nothing lost if it doesn't work. I have a sheltered place which in summer gets all the sun.

+Marina Wilson You can grow it in a pot and in the summer put the pot outside and if you feed it Nitrogen rich fertilizer it will grow fast. You can harvest leaves periodically all through summer. As soon as temps hit 50F bring it inside. It will drop most leaves but will live inside in a semi dormant state. It usually does not fruit when grown this way.

My moringa tree in India had seasonal invasion of the hairy caterpillars invading the bark of the tree. The caterpillar hair will cause intense skin itch. I am growing one in Australia, hope I wont have this pest issue. Do you get this pest in USA?

+damnfunny2001 I know which pest you are talking about. Interestingly, I haven't seen this caterpillar in our region, here in the US. Its the caterpillar from a specific butterfly. You can try spraying a diluted solution of neem oil around the bark to control them. Good luck!

How does one grow a Moringa tree? I would like to grow one. How do I obtain a tree start? Does it grow from seed, a cutting...? Also, I have tried to grow a curry leaf tree several times with no success. Can you help?

If people knew the value of the moringa tree, more people would be growing it...but sadly people don't take the time to learn about what's good for them.

+Gladys Fuentes That is so true! Moringa is something that everyone should be made aware of, truly a miracle plant!

I'm in zone 10 in south Spain. I planted 4moringa seeds last February 2015. The trees are planted outside and are about 1 meter tall, but since we had a heavy rainfall 2 weeks ago the leaves are turning yellow and are falling off. (the older ones first) What is the cause of this? what can I do?

+TheTrueabundance Its OK for moringa to go dormant in cooler weather and drop some yellow leaves. Let is warm up a bit more and the moringa should spring back to life.
