Who says they don’t come filled? I just opened the exact same black rectangular box and when I try to fill it when it’s upside down? The butane gushes out in a cloud, but won’t go in the lighter. I assume it’s full because it lights up perfect.
Actually that’s one of the reasons I bought it. If I’m hiking on a trail or in the woods if a wild animal tries to attack me I’ll stick this right in their face to protect myself… but also use it to light my heater and when I’m in a Sith sort of mood. These things are awesome! Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow

I will use it for protection if my life depends on it and also light my heater in the bathroom. I can’t wait to get my own actual lightsaber even if it does have a short flame 😂
Ive been comparing all the different brands (because i want to try to customize one with light saber parts, like a Rancor Tooth) and I believe this $10 torch is twice as powerful as the $100 hacksmith or any of the fancy green flame cigar lighters
Hi, I bought one of these recently and I’ve refilled it with butane I think. But as soon as I start putting it in it doesn’t feel like it goes in , like it just flows back out immediately. I’ve tapped it before with a pen release each time. But each time the same thing and it doesn’t turn on upon ignition button. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you!

you did it backwards with purging the air from it. You need to put the fuel in first and doing that will build the pressure up in the tank and then take and hold the lighter upside down and with a nail or something pointed push the intake valve in for a sec to remove air. Once you do that without moving the lighter and while its still upside down shoot some extra fuel in and that would be how you pudge it. I don't mean so sound rude but only wanting to make sure everyone gets it down correctly. The word purge means to take out and replace something for something else and being that there is no fuel (pressure) in the tank if you do it the way u did it in the video u would not be purging but actually adding air to the tank.
I appreciate your effort but it's impossible for a pressurized container to suck air in. Air or gas, when you push the valve open something is going to purge out

Grab a can of butane in a can. Wow, what an revelation. A can of butane come in a, get this, A can. LOL. I mean it looks cool in all but for me useless as I don't need that to light candles. I don't go camping or cook with charcoal.
NEVER EVER stick anything other than the butane nozzle in the valve on a lighter when refilling, if there is any pressure remaining it will contain butane which can contact freeze on release plus you can irreparably damage the valve, advising people to stick anything but especially a screw into the valve is reckless and stupid.

Just regulate the preassure and change the gas for one more dense

Hold the pen in that relieve valve till nothing comes out. Then try to refill again
