It's clear at 3:14, when you switch devices, that the quality of the JBL is better. The LG has a more brittle sound - too much oppressive high frequencies. But, there are tradeoffs like run time, etc. Thanks for the review.
I also found the JBL sounds better, more balanced and detailed sound.

i think comparing the clip 5 with the lg would be a bit more fair becuase they are more closer in size but great video 👍👍

The woofer is actually much much smaller as well as the passive radiador on the lg is much smaller it is not racing woofer as in the jbl and yet the lg is much much more bass and much louder so it is not bigger the case is just more everything proof it's actually the interior way.much smaller than the jbl go 4
Hola, gracias por la comparativa, aunque sea casera el sonómetro da una referencia. Justo estaba mirando el LG y aunque a través de videos es complicado dilucidar el sonido, es evidente que el del LG es superior en volumen y detalle. La verdad es que ese altavoz me gusta de antemano. Un saludo.
I don't think the LG has next and previous buttons?? But its has more bass than d jbl though while the jbl has a clearer speech sound 👍

Yo compré uno ya lo tengo como 2 meses y ya empezó a fallar, les recomiendo no ponerlo a full volumen con el sound boost activo porque eso malogra el parlante

@@andreserazo9577 al comienzo si estuvo bueno tiene buenos bajos no he escuchado en un parlante de ese tamaño tan buenos bajos, pero de pronto comenzó a fallar y cuando le aumentas más del 50% de volumen se escucha como si tuviera algún componente suelto que vibra o más probablemente sea error de firmware, si lo compras te recomiendo no actualizar ya que mediante su app te pide que lo actualices. Sospecho que después de actualizarlo me dió ese error porque cuando lo compre al comienzo sonaba muy bien, y pienso que si el parlante estaría roto no sonaría ya o sonaría peor. O tal vez instale mal la actualización
No creo que sea por la actualizacion... Yo escucho mi Bose soundlink micro al 100% de volumen y nunca me a fallado... he tenido varios, lo único la correa es una 💩 y termina rompiéndose, por eso acabo de comprar el LG pero hasta la semana próxima no me llega, lo pondré a prueba y si falla lo devolveré... reportaré mi experiencia, saludos@@samirsellerico6732

This is a pointless review. Surely the LG should be compared to the JBL clip 5 as the go 4 is for a different market.
This review seems like you are trying to promote the lg and not impartial putting it head to head with it's true rival.
Do a review against the lg's real competition.
Also remember that 2x the JBL's can be paired together as a stereo pair for approximately the same price as 1 lg...!
I never tried to pretend they’re comparable speakers. I even said I know the clip 5 is a closer comparison. Doesn’t mean this still isn’t useful for people who are trying to work out if the LG is worth the extra money…
Either they both sound like crap (which is more than likely the case lol) Or you need some better mics. I've got the tribit stormbox micro 2 and its an amazing little speaker that is super cheap and would put those to shame according to your review/comparison. And I aim to get a second one to pair with the first for twice the sound, that will barely be noticeable on my messenger bag strap across my chest as i ride on my bike all day everyday
Uh yeh I probably do need better MICs. It’s always hard to compare the sound coming off a TH-cam video (no matter how good the MIC is) to a speaker you have in person. As TH-cam compresses the audio and it’s then compressed again when played through your own speakers, the video is really meant to just be a comparison between these two, as you can hear them next to each other, under the same compression rates.
I would say both of these speakers sound much better than the Micro 2. But I know lots of people don’t agree with me there 😁
@@HammoTechReviews ya I mean when you listen to enough speaker videos, it becomes apparent quite quickly who uses a decent mic and who doesn't to be fair. And the Tribits tuned with the App sound amazing. Without the app tuning they're nothing special. And I've owned many a tiny Bluetooth speaker for biking etc. the UE Roll was always king to me. And still is on a loudness to clarity scale, but the Tribit after the app tuning can get much lower in the bass regions and still retain it's clarity and loudness. Not too many of those type of speakers can do that I can promise you. And they're barely 60 bucks to boot. Those JBL clips and the likes have always been trash

@@akyerittribit is 💩 in my experiencie... I tried version one and then version 2, both failed because I also use them on the bike at maximum volume, then I gave version two a second chance because it was a factory defect and the same thing happened to me again
@@RASirie1 Fair enough. I own the Tribit and it's phenomenal for its size and price. Zero issues. I can't wait to grab a second to pair with it. I also ended up picking up the soundcore motion plus, and that's also one of the best in its league still to this day, bar none. It's my favorite swiss army bt speaker. I use it for my tv/movies, bike riding on my handlebars, and even as a monitor speaker for djing and beat making. If I need more bass for any of those things, I add my minirig subwoofer, and WOW is that an incredible setup for not that much money/taking up much space. And for my biggest boombox style I own the wking x20, which is insane!! I feel like those are the perfect small, medium and large speakers to own, that won't also break the bank!

in construction quality (the Bose strap is a 💩) and for price the LG wins, I just bought it (apart from the fact that it is USB C) on Amazon but I won't get it until next week I have the Bose as my main speaker for the outdoors for a long time and I can't wait to compare them @@mikejaques4702
