Geo TV has done injustice to Jo Bichar Gaye itself by not paying any attention to its promotion. After the release of first episode it was recommended to me on TH-cam I saw the thumbnail and ignored the drama. Later, after watching Haute Review I realized that Netflix level content is being telecast on our television. People who complain about nonsense family dramas should watch #JoBicharGaye once, believe me this is stunning...
I loved Hassan's review of Jo Bichar Gaye.. I do agree with him about the chemistry between Maya and Wahaj in that scene and that though we're loving Captain Farrukh's love for Sonia, yet the fire between Sonia and Rumi is on another level.. also, I agree that casting new actors in Bengali characters has made these characters so believable and increased the impact of their performances, which would not happen if they had cast old actors..
JO BICHAR GAYE EP:5 👏👏👏💖💖💖 The best if not the bestest, a heart wrenching story, a unforgettable saga... What a class apart direction.... Top notch performances of all the actors and they all together make this 1971 Fall of Dhaka based period drama the real and one and only magnum opus of Paksitani Drama Industry. When Rumi & Sonya are on screen together, they create magic I really have no words to describe this tv serial. JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH. Every thing's on point WAHAJ ALI AS RUMI 👏👏💖💖👍👍 Wahaj’s ability to portray his emotions through his eyes is remarkable and we his fans believe that even without any dialogues he was able to show the emotions and heartbreak that Rumi was going through. Apart from his expressions, the meaningful and strong dialogues he delivered are also another reason why we have fallen in love with Rumi
Sinf-E-Ahan: The reason you cannot speak to anyone in the first term is to build the feeling of making your fellow soldiers your new family. If you keep falling back to your family for emotional support, you will never get attached to your team. The reason you're introduced to everything in the premises but not allowed to use anything is to inculcate discipline, self-control and wisdom to use things only as per needs. I differ from Aamna's perspective that the show is choppy. If the show is an ISPR collaboration, it will be less about telling a dramatic story and more about detailing how someone's experience will be when one joins the army. Hence dedicating one episode to each topic is serving its purpose of being educational!!!
Jo Bichar Gae is really a game changer n benchmark setting for our drama industry. What a great show put up n executed by Haissam Hussain. One point I would like to clarify which Amna pointed regarding the political matters being sugar coated...I don't think so because the last few episodes have adequately depicted the reaction of the Bengali people of east Pakistan in the form of Decca university campaigns n speeches that the Yahya khan n Bhutto are unjust in giving the Bengali their due share despite winning in majority n the discrimination on the basis of language. I believe that so far the makers have been unbiased in the narrative...they have captured the points of view of each segment be it the army, the freedom fighters, the political figures n the oppression n exploitation of the innocent general public as a result of this deadly budding revolution!!
In Jo Bichar Gaye, I feel that the writer (an Ex-Army person), is attempting, in a vague manner, to put a distance between the part of the military that was in power from the part of military that was on ground. In no scene, way or manner have Yahyah and Bhutto been portrayed as blameless but the Army as a whole, the soldier on ground has been shown to be helpless. Maybe that was true, maybe not but it's been done in a very believable way. Also, the opposing side hasn't been completely defiled and presented as the evil monsters that some would like to think them. The freedom fighters are raising some valid points on why that leap was necessary, they aren't shown to be wrong. So a weirdly balanced portrayal of humans, though maybe not a very unbiased one of events. Loving this
Sinf e ahan: love that it’s light hearted so anyone can watch it leisurely and enjoy it. From the very start I have to say that the casting is amazing. Aside from the leading cast, each characters family looks like they are actually from the background they are shown to be from. For example, on first look you can tell that Yumna and her family are Pathan just by looking at them. You could mute the TV and tell this which shows how great the casting and wardrobe has been. Special shout out for junaid Jamshaid niazi for a stellar debut. Ishq e laa: I really hope they don’t kill off Shanaya cause she’s shown to be a huge strength in the drama. She’s a powerful and strong young woman who is standing up for what’s right even in front of supposed family values. If they kill her off, then in my opinion it sends the message that it’s not worth fighting for what’s right because you’re gonna lose in the end. They should show her having a huge impact and how she effects the lives of girls. There are lots of flaws nonetheless, especially with the lawyer situation. Sang e mah: Amazing first episode with once again great casting and acting by everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this first episode because it’s something new in terms of execution. The camera work, the subtle messages and everything from wardrobe to locations are great. I have to say from all of our dramas there are some very underrated actors. In Dobara we fail to notice Sakina Samo and her brilliant expressions in every seen. In Ishq e laa, uzma Hassan has performed outstandingly especially when her husband dies. Atif aslam has proven that he’s a superstar in all aspects from his performance in sang e mah. But, we don’t really mention the legendary samiya mumtaz. For me her performances in all her dramas have always been overlooked and under appreciated. We always mention everybody but her and it’s just unfair. The way she articulated her accent and the way we see her communicating with zaviyaar is amazing. She’s a true actress and knows her craft very well.
You have to muster all your courage to sit down and watch an episode of JBG. By the end of it you are in awe of the human emotions, pain suffering hate fear cruelty courage love zest… Your heart aches watching events of 71 unfold and you can’t help but feel there could have been a better way out all this hate and bloodshed could have been avoided but exactly how not sure. Haissam Hussain like masterful storyteller has gripped us and walks us through this dark augmented reality. Most ably assisted by the cast especially Wahaj whose piercing eyes dump all the pain fire and passion in your heart!
I agree! I have to make sure there aren’t any interruptions or distractions while I’m watching JBG. It’s completely captivating and each and every scene is essential to understanding what’s going on…not one filler scene, imo…
Whatever you said its absolutely true whenever I watch this drama I feel like it takes me back in that time and I could feel the fear the suffering of those people I never knew that even after 1947 the people of Pakistan still had to see the bloodshed its painful its heartbreaking
JBG deserves so much praises hype that drama is on another level , idk y people r not giving so much hype to this types of dramas , wahaj n maya chemistry is worth watching , they both take the drama on another level , wahaj as always bang with his performance . capt farukh is also doing good as a debut .
JBG: For me, the performance of Capt. Salahuddin stood out in the last episode. Loved all his scenes. Wonderful dialogue delivery & expressions! 👏👍 Also shout-out to the director, the way he executed the mob scenes. I mean, viewers could literally feel the frightening moments & tension that was going on. Watching those scenes, gave me chills.
I am a Pathan, born and raised and, with all due respect, I am sick and tired of the way the Entertainment industry only ever show Pathan representation if they want to stereotype them. No matter, the drama. It’s always the same kind of Pathan characters that are NOT played by Pathan actors, promoting harmful and negative stereotypical characters. If they wanted to show representation, they should always, always cast Pathan actors. It’s the same thing the Western media does, by casting white actors to play roles written for other ethnic groups. I’m so tired of this. And I don’t expect a change. Pathans are more than just a bunch of people, wrapped in turbans, cloaked in long cloths, carrying guns. Like just-
True!! …… but I didn’t find any character harmful or negative. It is just a storyline covering an issue….. I think … that a person can fire in from of a girl’s house to force marriage….
Only an actor which can perform that role best should be cast. That's why it is called acting, bcz a good actor can change his persona and make us believe whatever they want. This concept is even rejected by the west now.
I think just a drama showing a story of a particular region…… not representing all Pathans. Who are …. I think very different, educated and groomed people.
@@sz54321 hehehe so according to you the character of Hasnat Khan, who was Pakistani should not be played by Humayun Syed, a Pakistani actor but by a white actor who can just change his appearance enough for the role? It’s the same principle. Cast the people you’re writing about. It’s very simple. Every ethnic group has their own brilliant artists capable of acting, the mainstream media is just too lazy to invest. And frankly, very racist.
I'm watching Sang e Mah for Atif ❤️ I must say the drama is star studded,. Performances were fantastic ... I mean look at Umair Rana he's such a versatile actor , that scene between him and the fiancee was too good I had tears in my eyes when he was trying to remove the ring Yes accent is not maintained throughout
Jo Bichar Gaye: The drama is the masterpiece. They have already established that Mujibur Rehman wasn't given power and this was the core reason. It's so much based on facts, and I m saying this because I m from the families of affected people, and sometimes it gives me goosebumps to see what I have heard all my life from my mother.
Its not mujeeb ur rhaman who didnt give power its Buhtto who didnt let mujeeb to become priminister...my parents also belongs to east pakistan infact majority urdu speaking people family living in karachi belongs to east pakistan and yes those were horrifing stories
@@fatimaahmed2118 Mujeeb was not given power that is true but i beg to differ that it was the core reason or should i say the final nail in the coffin.....because after the creation of Bangladesh, Mujib has unabashedly admitted in many of his speeches that having an independent Bangladesh had been his dream since 1947......also the way Awami League won the elections is also an issue that is not discussed at all! First of all, the bullied all the other East Pakistani political parties to not participate in the election so that the chances of Awami League winning are greater..........secondly the elections were hugely rigged..........and last but by no means the least, with respect to the Agartala Conspiracy in 1967, the Awami League was not eligible to fight the election as it had committed an act of treason by joining hands with the enemy...........I am not defending Bhutto as he was a hedonistic power-hungry monster and Yahya was another disgusting fellow but the way Mujib and the Awami League are portrayed as the ones being at the receiving end of injustice is totally and completely wrong. Also both sides of my family were from East Pakistan and they were Urdu speaking.....they migrated in March when the conditions started worsening........my grandfather was an electrical engineer at Chittagong Port Trust and the Benglis residing in his colony had hatched a plan to kill him......alhamdulillah he was safe and sound by the Mercy of Allah. The crux of this discussion is West Pakistanis have suffered a great deal in the hands of Bengalis but this part of history is conveniently disregarded because it distorts the general image of Bengalis as the 'ultimate sufferers'.
I'm also from the affected family my both families was from Bangladesh Urdu speaking but my grandfather (Nana) was missing in that chaos nd still he is missing. my mother is only kid of there parents.
@@MunchkinsStudio yes is all was very sad..my grandfather was also marteryed there ..he left there alone for his job and send his family to karachi..if gives you gosebumps when you heard all that my father and uncles were in their teens at that time
Please watch JO BICHAR GAYE. One sees that Maya is criticizing Rumi on table but when he leaves the dinner, one can notice how she was concerned as well. But then, she went towards his room and didn't talk about it
Hayeeeeeee ATIF ASLAM stole the show in Sang e Mah 🤩🤩🤩🤩 he was so freakin good it’s hard to believe this is his first drama Usually when you have Nauman Ijaz on screen you can’t really see anyone else but I must say Atif gave him equal takkar ki performance! Maza aa Gaya Boss!!! Great effort by the whole team and amazing performances by all 🤩
I love watching Jo Bichar Gaye. I’m looking forward to see whether this story is impartial or not. Amna is quite impartial. Thanks Amna for being honest. 🙏🇧🇩
as a pathan i absolutely think that we are ALWAYS styreotyped. Most of the pathans, even if they live in rural areas, dont walk around holding guns and talking about revenge, dushmani and qatal o ghaarat.most of my family lives in rural areas and almost all of them are very well educated people. This tradition 'ghag' is completely unknown to me.Maybe some people know about it but as amna said it existed many many years ago but making a whole drama out of it without clarifying the time line is unfair to our community.i hope they do clarify it in future episodes cuz the last thing we want is people thinking thats how every pathan house hold functions.
When Muslims are stereotyped in Bollywood and/or Hollywood movies, it’s pretty distasteful…I’m not familiar with pathan culture but I can sense that they’re being stereotyped as well…stereotypes are usually not done in good taste…
The Character of Samiya Mumtaz said that the incident( ghag) happened for the first time after 30 years. So I don't think they are trying to show that it is a regular custom.
Sinf e ahan- everything about that drama is perfect and lovely and eye pleasing. Sang e mah- zaviyar and hania look amazing together. Good acting and good story. Loving it. From India.
There was one other human angle in jo bichar gaye : the one where Capt Salahuddin calls Capt Farrukh to ask about his preparation to visit Anwar ul Haq house, amidst the tension and security situation at Ghazipur..
@@naqshnaz3811 Do you really think that they will encourage people for doing Ghag?Just see how the drama continues and how the narrative builds and then we can comment if they are encouraging or discouraging Ghag
Jo bichar Gaye is true masterpiece, one could feel the intensity and tension growing gradually. I must say this drama should be promoted on every plateform. The truth which kept untold deliberately for several decades should be revealed.
Unfortunately in some parts of Afghanistan ( Khost province) ghag is still happening. In fact I knew a girl who ran away with her family from the village because of a guy who threatened to kill anyone who intends to marry her. It is quite interesting how sange mah picked up this concept and I hope they can create awareness.
Jo Bichar Gaye is a true gem among pakistani dramas. This Netflix level show is absolutely a treat to watch💯 If you are not watching this, you are really missing something amazing🔥
@@rahmed5701Its not totally historically accurate i guess, I am from Bangladesh, from my perspective in this episode they showed bangali was killing east pakistani people a lot even though i dont know about this fact but i am sure they avoided to show what eastern paakistanis (army/politician/police) did with bangalis. My question is if army and police was good during tht time why they raped bangali women, why they tourcered women and at the same time they killed numerous mukti bahini. I amnot defend western people I am just saying west pakistani army or politician or police also did wrong with bangalis.
JBG is the only drama after so long who's content is the reason for me to start watching it but then the performances of every actor makes me hooked to it..for wahaj and talha its a game changer brilliant work by Haisam husain
The place the LCs (Lady Cadets) live is called “The Company Lines”. There are approximately 16 Company Lines in PMA. Each have a name. The Company Lines LCs stay in is called “Khalid Company”. It’s the first building which comes on the left when you enter main PMA area. It is right next to the Battalion Mess; which is the area where everyone goes to have their food. By everyone I mean the cadets. During every meal (which has specific timing), one Officer presides over the meal. The roommates are also made deliberately. It is recommended always that different personalities/ethnicities/background/schooling are put together for diversity and to teach teamwork and patience. Aya jees for LCs and chachas for GCs. They are like parents away from parents. They take care of your every need. My husband was so close to his PMA chacha. That chacha died some years ago and my husband cried like a baby, and it’s been 15 years since he has passed out from PMA. It’s a bond very deep. I hope they show it developing.
JBG: I think last epi was all about political crises... they were all talking about election and not power sharing... Bhutto coming to talk to mujeeb and delay in assembly session was clearly shown in drama... Bad thing about drama is that u cant say alot about the content... There is everything clear in drama... After every epi we always has to praise the actors bcoz we dont have much to say... It was the same case with alif... Overall it was so intense epi... And Hassan same feeling that totally rooting for Sonia and Romi...
Ishq E Laa: I had stopped watching it because I couldn't find time, but after having watched last week's episode, my intrest has gone up. There are lots of things happening. Fell in love with Shanaya's character once again. And as of now I can say that this drama is not like KAM 3, and it will show true love and the shrine pe jaana will have a meaning. But I really hope they don't kill Shanaya, now that people have started enjoying watching Shanaya and Azlaan together and I was excited to see them more. And as you both said, there were obviosuly some flaws that could've been avoided. I don't know what to expect from it as I've not been seeing it since last 4 or 5 episodes, but I'm excited to watch it.
As sad as Shanaya’s death is, I believe Azlaan will end up being together and I excited to see how that relationship will form. The drama took an interesting twist
This episode of Sinfe Ahan belongs to kubra the way she faced humiliation in PMA...feel pity for Mhajabeen..Sang e Mah starts good,Atif really made his impact on TV screen but i would like to appreciate Umair rana what a performer he is,PKS,DNUTN,HHKST and now sang e mah...brilliant
Sinf e ahan: Kubra was great in this episode, but I have to say that she was given significantly more screen time than the other girls. Waiting for Yumna n Sajal to be the centre of focus too.
Sang e Mah: Wonderful performances and so captivating ❤️ can't get over of this 😍 JBG: Wonderful execution with fine performances. All the actors from Talha, Maya and Wahaj to the supporting cast, have done it beautifully ❤️
Aamna and hassan can i say...you people bring me happiness....no not an understatement.....july ke baad i had been busy in college... exams hi exams....beech mein i watched a couple of times but flow hi tuut jaata tha.....in January starting days there was much winter gloom and everytime i watch admist mood kharab i get cheered up....so big hugs and thanku....after much time i am lutaaying pyaar ....itne waqt se waqt hi nahin mila...you guys♥️
I am watching JBG just after your listening to your reviews. I have many Bengali friends here in NY and so many of them don't like/trust Pakistanis. I always stayed away from this Pak-Bengal controversy because I know who was at fault. I was scared of the subject but JBG is a good show.
Xaviar and Hania's cute chemistry and lovey dovey moments were super enjoyable 😂😘😂 Although Pashto accent was missing big time😜😊😜 Nauman Aijaz Sania Saeed and Samia Mumtaz did full justice to their characters as always...A big thumbs up👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 as I loved the first episode of Sang e Mah ❤️❣️❤️
Once again Sajal is winning hearts in Ishqelaa. What an amazing actor she is.👏 Can't take my eyes off her.🥰 She's enough to stick you to the screen. More power to you girl. Shine on Sajal...!💗
Mere Hamsafar: I don't know the ABC of acting but that little ANGEL did a superb job, so convincing and so so emotional, and very beautiful MashaAllah. Sang e Mah: OMG it was fantastic, I am already in love with every character. OST is not that amazing to me. Ruposh: I think its best Telefilm till now, I watched it all with my family and no discomfort at all, and everyone just loved the movie.
Hello Hassan and Amna. I wanted to make a suggestion actually. Since Amna sometimes reads books I thought why don't you guys review Nemrah Ahmed's new novel "Maala". It's AMAZING! Only two episodes are out till date. Every new episode comes on 5th of every month. I guarantee you, you guys will enjoy it. Tbh it's worth your time. Ap log Amanat jesay serials dekh key apna time zaya mat karain instead review Nemrah's novels they are always mind boggling. 😂 You never know what Nemrah will come up with in the next scene. I am sure I'll thoroughly enjoy your review on her novels as I am a BIG BIG fan of her and at the same time I am a BIG BIG fan of you both. I religiously follow your reviews or jesay hi apki videos ati hain main foran dekhti hun. I was just thinking key ap log jab Maala parhaingay tou kiya reaction hoga or kiya guesses hongay regarding the story. Please please it's a request to review Maala or any other Nemrah Ahmed's novel. I would suggest Maala because it's ongoing. Rabia Mughni from Fuchsia Magazine is also reading Maala and she discuss it's episode by coming live on Instagram. Please it's my very humble request to review Maala! Your viewers will love it. Or jo nahi parh rahay kiya pata apkay review se unmain bhi book reading ki habit ajaye. I hope you'll consider it. 🥺

Mere Humsafar is improving with every episode. I loved the last night's epi and specially Dadi's character is so funny :p For me it's totally watchable!!
Jo Bichar Gae: Its a master piece beautifully shot scenes and amazing acting but it is heart breaking to watch not just because of the evident blood shed that is going to happen or the loss of East Pakistan but because of all the things and events that lead to this separation. I agree with Amna political side has been sugar coated but it is still there if one wants to ponder on it and for me it is heart breaking to see what we did to our own people.
Best dramas of the season are 1) parizaad 2) jo bicharh gaye. 3) sinf e ahan 4) dobara 5) ishq e laa (sang e mah might get a place once i start watching it)
I don't think in jbg they are sugarcoating the actual facts....infect its really suprising and commendable to show the reality for the first time...and what a masterpiece by Haisam husain.
Joe Bichar Gye - I am reflecting on the history (Pak studies) we were taught in beacon house and how it just stops after British independence and we don’t talk about the relationship between west and east Pakistan. If there was any injustice, we should hear and acknowledge both sides. Not a fan of teaching biased history.
I watched RUPOSH last night only… I felt it was for Deewangi fans who wanted a happy ending. The sequence of revenge of a thappad - rain scene of Deewangi to impress the girl…. Loved the chemistry of Kinza and Kidwani . At places felt like shahrukh khan moves copy. But loved the movie ….
CRAP. If there is a Geo TV drama or telefilm with abnormally high no of views, then do yourself a favor and stay away from it. It has to be a cringe 90's bollywood movie like love story to attract Indian audience. You're welcome :p
Amna i don't think Sinfe Ahan is choppy, its showing everything in stages & our Armed Forces is such a huge institute it deserves to show us everything correctly in stages
Ruposh ke gaane bohot ache hein, even the way the movie was shot was easy to watch and enjoy. Not anything ground breaking but still worth a 1 time watch
Ruposh is trending on no.1 on youtube, got the highest GRPs in the history of tfs of Pak and leaded the trp slot on Friday too. I haven't still watch it. I want you guys to review it and tell us how is it that it is getting so popular.
I’m almost sure that the numbers are manipulated and the reviews are all bought and posted…I haven’t watched it, but a clip here and there was enough for me to know that it’s just a ridiculous, done to death story that offers nothing new in terms of story or performances…
when a stupid telefilm will be promoted for more than 2 months... 2 ost for a telefilm... almost 5 to 10 teasers... trending to ho gi... That boy is a very bad actor... His scene going viral on social media... that is stupid and hilarious...
@@sabahatmazhar6056 did u hear any rave review about the telefilm??? I think everyone is bashing it whole heartedly... Even SeM is also being criticized by public alot... Reviewers are praising it although...

I would LOVE it if Amna reviewed the next season of the Crown, now that HS will be on it. It will be a treat for us long time The Crown and Amna lovers.
The major lady in Sinf e ahan may have been strict and made Mahjabeen dye her hair black, but the neatly made buns, with side partings by all, certainly looked like the work of a professional hairdresser. Maybe they had a beauty parlour.....😂
In sinf e aahan there is one promo in which soniya is holding army uniform with name probably taimoor.. which hinted towards the story that she was earlier married to army officer taimoor....
I watched Atif's scenes twice. I noticed his accent is not Pakhtoon but so rich as of classic urdu. And the way he was saying the verses was perfect. Also his experission when Nauman Ijaz's character humiliates his friends. Bravo. And when he says *"Han han main theek hon"* and that whole grave scene
Hi Amna and Hasan. Your take on Mere Humsafar is spot on. It doesn't make any sense. So full of cliched acting, direction and writing. It is actually painful to watch. 2 episodes are enough to gauge where the drama is going and it isn't going anywhere. Sinf-e-Ahan is amazing. But I agree with Amna that it is more of a series where every character is shown reacting to the same situation. I hope they get to more layered storytelling soon. For me, Yumna's character is the best. How she has moulded herself into this simpleton, over enthusiastic girl is amazing. From her reactions to body language, none comes closer. It is unique and true to such a character. Yes her accent was all over the place in the beginning as hasan has said in the earlier reviews. Ishq-e-Laa doesn't make sense to me anymore. I wonder why Sajal and Yumna said yes to such a cliched script. Every episode is full of events we have seen multiple times in multiple Pakistani dramas. Single dimensional characters with pretty flat acting by most of the actors specially Azan Sami. There is nothing for actors to do in the play. Gimmickry with camera angles isn't enough to grab our attention. Ishq-e-Laa is too oversimplified. Not watching it anymore. JBG is going strong. The story isn't moving forward as we would have liked to but easy in the eye nonetheless. I am so impressed by the photography. I looked at the credits and found out it is done by Mirza Mehmood sb, a veteran Ptv DOP, I guess ( I somehow remember his name). And Hasan and Amna please do talk about him, visual is the strongest point of JBG. Sang-Maah is interesting. Yes the accents are off. And it is such a put off. Really liked how it started with an ariel shot of a Gurdwara. Seems interesting. Really looking forward to it.
It took me a few episodes to realise that Sang e Marmar was set in the 80s with the constant references to the Soviets, no mobile phones and those old fashioned radio sets. In the first episode of Sang e Mah too we saw Atif and his friends dancing to music playing on a very old fashioned stereo as well so maybe it follows the same formula but yes so far the time line is confusing.
Sang e mah : In one word "Interesting ". I didn’t watch Sang e Marmar, so I don’t know these two dramas are similar or not. It was new for me. I was really happy to see Pakistani Sikh culture in this drama. This was a good initiative I think. Hania & Zaviyar have great chemistry. I think Noman Ejaj is not Hiltmand's father, may be he is his uncle & his mother got married to his uncle. Probably his father had died for some reason. It is also a mystery. I think it was unnecessary to premier a drama in cinema. Bcz one episode of drama can not be compared with a full film. This was a wrong move. And I find it a little bit hard to understand the language, the language could have been a little bit easier. I will not complain about their accent, bcz if they spoke full pushton, I wouldn’t have understood a lot of things.
The language is how we talk in Pashto, and basically a translation of the exact sort of sentences we utter. That's why it feels hard to understand, but it's also natural to us, reflects pushtun conversations well.
Hilmand reminds me of Hemlet. The morbidity and mysteriousness as well as the resemblance of names. He also says in one scene k jiya jaye ya na jiya jaaye. Let's see what happens next.
Mery Hamsafar: The little girl's acting was so good. She is so cute and acted so naturally that I literally cried seeing her. So far, I am still wondering how Hania will act in such kinda role which is totally opposite of what she has been doing. Seeing Hania doing a role like Hala is already making me want to watch some more episodes before deciding it is worth it or not. So far, drama is entertaining.
according to Wahaz Rumi of jo bichar geye is real character Rumi imam who was son of Jahanara Imam, known as mother of martyr (shohid Jononi) in our country Bangladesh. I don't know how much they kept things right but according to Jahanara Imam's auto biography Her son was young student who got scholarship from USA for his higher education that time but He chose his country over his future and joined Muktibahini and eventually martyred on the liberation war.
I swear if Feroze khan does another drama like Khaani or ishqiya or Khuda aur mohabbat or now Aye musht e khaak I’m gonna lose it. How many times can an actor play a naa kaam aashiq? How many times can he do a toxic love story? How many times until he himself realizes how repetitive these stories are? He’s proven that he doesn’t have much range unfortunately. And aye musht e khaak is a new level of ott in my opinion. Iffat omar especially makes it a pain to watch. The over clear dubbing makes it seem like everyone is whispering in to your ear when they speak which honestly makes it uncomfortable. And the weird convos about honeymoons and other religious aspects just increases your discomfort. I’ve said it before but that whole convo about not going abroad during Ramadan had me VERY uncomfortable. It’s better to show them hugging then to have awkward convos like this. PS. *in feroze khans voice* “Dua you scared me” lol
Worth watching or not? Really, Amna, Hassan, should you be even asking this? In the very first episode we saw the strongest of characters, power packed performances by Sania Saeed, Noman Ijaz, Samina Mumtaz and the ATIF ASLAM. Refreshing outdoor locations, nankana sahab shown for the first time in any drama. The storyline and backstories of characters seem to have many interesting layers. Don’t know whether ‘ghag or ghaq’, happened in reality or is fictitious, created for the drama. Why did the people take it seriously? The mother pleading for forgiveness, was it just for aerial firing or did he in some way harm the girl? Looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds.
@@fatimaahmed2118 I was a bit confused by it too. If it was considered a punishable crime, and mother was pleading for forgiveness, why did the people even take it seriously? Why Would they be scared of aerial firing , when the boy could be punished. Should not make any difference to the girl.
@@fatimaahmed2118 Let’s see how the story unfolds. The character played by samiya says that it was repeated after 30 years. Maybe back then, it was taken seriously and did end up ruining lives of girls. Now after 30 years they want to punish the culprit to end the tradition.
@Meno Neno Ghag is a very old Pashtun tradition that is almost non-existent now, where a man forcibly claims the right to marry a woman (without her, or her Wali's consent). He does this by making a public declaration (usually firing gun shots outside her house to make it known) that the women shall stand engaged to him and that no other man must dare to propose her, also threatening her family to not give her hand away. The man will obstruct the marriage if that happens, and you can imagine the bloodshed that may follow.
One trait to Yamuna that greatly amused Parizad in the first place seem to have been disconnected I.e Yuma repeating certain words many times like please please please or thank you thank you thank you thank you. The drams is sure to be listed in all time classic list therefore such issues of continuity are not expected. What do you say Hasan and Amna
In the previous epoisode of Sinf e Ahaan, it was just too good to see how the Brigadier talks to the sardar. Hats off to such people who resolve situations with positivity and ensuring the Sardaar doesnt get upset and ruin the life of the girl who wants to join the army
First episode of Senge mah was very impressive and I am so excited that a new great drama has started. Don’t consider the accents an issue because we can’t be too picky about it and should just enjoy the story from that region and if it was truly authentic it would be in Pashtu🤷♀️
Kubra as mahjabeen is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I laughed so hard and I was like ye bhi mna hai, sydra decorating her room should have been allowed as a whole day of hard training they should feel relaxed and comfortable coming back to the room which they are not even allowed to close the door😬 man they are really strict and these minute details were really good to be shown for aspirants.
The issue with accents in sang e mah is there but can be ignored as it is being in jo Bichar gae. You can obviously differentiate the accents of roomi and sheil. Bang oil accents are not that perfect in the drama still it is so interesting that you easily ignore it.
Rightly pointed out by Amna. PDA bohat ziyadah hogaya tha (referring to Saboor and Ali’s wedding videos) I am glad someone said that out loud!! But sadly the millennials don’t feel that way.
Sang e mah: uff kya script hai bhaee kya dialogues hain aur Atif Aslam ki acting awlaaa aur nouman Ijaz🔥. Yeh drama bohat interesting hai just waiting for more episodes. Sania Saeed ki adaakaari bhi bohat achi thi MA.
I love jo bichar gaye but I think that khaab toot jatey hain nailed the perfect balance while explaining injustices meted out to Bengal is from both political angle and military angle as well as the Raw involvement and the ethnic cleansing of biharis.. I cried for the first time ever in a drama.. The confusion and nonchalant behaviour of West Pakistan media and government.
U may be right man but the problem with Khwab Toot Jaate hain is that it is too realistic n also without a slight subtle dose of romance or humour or even a few light hearted scenes as in case of Jo Bichar gae which makes it quite heavy duty goes a general viewer to sit through...Atleast the makers of Khwab Toot Jaate hain should have used that approach. Anyways but it is really good sign that the makers n channels are thinking on these plotlines instead of churning out more idiotic n crappy home politics or sibling rivalry or multi marriage based dramas!!!
@@samkesaath yes that's true khaab toot jatey hain has no humour bcoz it is quite realistic and it was meant to historically inform but I m quite emotionally invested professor sajjad.. maybe it's difference of perspective captain farrukh being an army officer and professor sajjad being a Bengal.. but u r right m so glad makers r finally realizing the importance of history. I wud urge everyone to watch both
Mere hamsafar isn't a bad drama. I don't know why you just wrote it off without giving any credit to anyone for anything. You can review amanat and hum Kahan k sachay thay but not mere humsafar ( given all three of them are the same average type dramas!)
Sinfe ahan and jo bichar gae :these kind of dramas we want to watch more. #Unique #different #appealing #interesting #powerfull stories And promising actors.🇦🇪💚👏👏🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
I want you guys to review Ruposh. Kinza and Haroon's acting was really good, the song and everything but the storyline wasn't good to me. I enjoyed watching it but the story is a bit messed up but I really want you to guys give a review. I hope you see this comment. Lots of love from Bangladesh 💗
Sinf e Ahan: Going amazing so far. There is one thing, even though pretty casual, that I didn’t particularly understand. When the parents were raising conerns like their daughter is used have breakfast like so and so, sleep routine is so and so etc. I don’t understand the point of the staff there giving them false hope “nai hum to inka bohat khayal rakheinge”. Maybe I am wrong but I didn’t quite get it
Hey. Your chemistry is simply superlative. You both compliment each other so well despite not having same views on so many things. Love it.. I enjoy watching Pak drama.. They are well made, good stories, direction and acting. In the lot of the dramas you discussed, I am currently watching Sinf-e-Aahan and ishq-e-laa. As far as your assessment on Ishq- e- Laa is concerned, I have a little different opinion on Sajal's character being dead. It may b possible that she losses her child but survives and then the dynamics with her husband changes? ( I may b wrong. But I still believe she is not gonna b dead) All in all, great critical analysis of the series. Keep up the good work
I asked my mother to watch Jo Bichar Gai as I thought it is an exceptional play. She watched the first episode but could not continue as she did not want to re-live that tragedy. It was too real for her. She had visited east Pakistan in 1969. I can understand now why the viewership is not what we expect.
I am not watching any dramas with interest (except SeA without much interest though) because all dramas are either with saas bahu, propaganda, nationality, religiious, social or cultural issues. But i watch ur reviews bcz they are more interesting and I love your reviews
Disagree with you on the child star in mere hamsafar performance. She did very well despite of her age. Watch the scene when Shahjahan and her sister in law were talking about dadi and when she was scared at night and sitting on the sofa in dadi's bedroom.
@@rameeztariq62 True, but if anyone is doing something unique and pleasant, they should be encouraged.
Hamza you are right...totally. Which city you from
exactly..i also think promotion was lacking. I mean I didnt even know such a masterpiece was in the making
Yes, I totally agree with you. I also started watching jo bichar Gaye after the haute review!
I am not against new actors but sonia and romi also dont let us know that they are not in characters.jbg is awesome with all the actors are super.
JO BICHAR GAYE
EP:5
👏👏👏💖💖💖
The best if not the bestest, a heart wrenching story, a unforgettable saga... What a class apart direction.... Top notch performances of all the actors and they all together make this 1971 Fall of Dhaka based period drama the real and one and only magnum opus of Paksitani Drama Industry. When Rumi & Sonya are on screen together, they create magic
I really have no words to describe this tv serial. JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH. Every thing's on point
WAHAJ ALI AS RUMI
👏👏💖💖👍👍
Wahaj’s ability to portray his emotions through his eyes is remarkable and we his fans believe that even without any dialogues he was able to show the emotions and heartbreak that Rumi was going through.
Agree with you........nothing is sugar-coated
True
Just like u need alot of courage to watch DASTAAN
MASTERPIECE BY HAISSAM HUSSAIN
AHMAZING PERFORMANCE BY SANAM BALOCH AND FAWAD KHAN
JBG deserves so much praises hype that drama is on another level , idk y people r not giving so much hype to this types of dramas , wahaj n maya chemistry is worth watching , they both take the drama on another level , wahaj as always bang with his performance . capt farukh is also doing good as a debut .
JBG: For me, the performance of Capt. Salahuddin stood out in the last episode. Loved all his scenes. Wonderful dialogue delivery & expressions! 👏👍
Also shout-out to the director, the way he executed the mob scenes.
True!! I have never heard of 'Ghag' tradition before either.
I mean look at Umair Rana he's such a versatile actor , that scene between him and the fiancee was too good I had tears in my eyes when he was trying to remove the ring
Yes accent is not maintained throughout
Jo Bichar Gaye: The drama is the masterpiece. They have already established that Mujibur Rehman wasn't given power and this was the core reason. It's so much based on facts, and I m saying this because I m from the families of affected people, and sometimes it gives me goosebumps to see what I have heard all my life from my mother.
Its not mujeeb ur rhaman who didnt give power its Buhtto who didnt let mujeeb to become priminister...my parents also belongs to east pakistan infact majority urdu speaking people family living in karachi belongs to east pakistan and yes those were horrifing stories
@@sidrakafeel9160 he is saying same... mujeeb was not given power means same
@@fatimaahmed2118 Mujeeb was not given power that is true but i beg to differ that it was the core reason or should i say the final nail in the coffin.....because after the creation of Bangladesh, Mujib has unabashedly admitted in many of his speeches that having an independent Bangladesh had been his dream since 1947......also the way Awami League won the elections is also an issue that is not discussed at all!
But then, she went towards his room and didn't talk about it
Hayeeeeeee ATIF ASLAM stole the show in Sang e Mah 🤩🤩🤩🤩 he was so freakin good it’s hard to believe this is his first drama
Usually when you have Nauman Ijaz on screen you can’t really see anyone else but I must say Atif gave him equal takkar ki performance!
Amna discussed this in review that pathans are stereotyped here.. but it is a topic based drama.. so take it as that..
Totally agree with you. Mutual feelings.
Yes Sinfe aahan was all about Kubra's brilliant performance and Sang e Mah yet another captivating direction and good story telling.
The character of Samia Mumtaz said that this incident (Ghag) happened after 30 years. So,it shows that this tradition is not practiced now as such.
Why they are making drama no to encourage people again for ghag

My question is if army and police was good during tht time why they raped bangali women, why they tourcered women and at the same time they killed numerous mukti bahini.

Wow didn't know all of this, thanks forthe insight!!
Jo Bichar gye is next level game obove the par. 👏👏👏 it was an intense episode.

Sinf-e-ahan was a bit over the top. Girls acted too immature. Jese unhe kuch pata hi na ho. Especially sidra batool and mahjabeen
They have shown all kinds of girls. Some are actually like mahjabeen and sidra. On the other hand some are sensible like arzoo and rabia.
seriously ? every human is different and every girl has their personality. why are you even judging them

@@fatimaahmed2118 I’m talking about viewer reviews in the comment sections on most social media platforms…gushing and what not…I doubt anyone genuinely found it good…
@@sabahatmazhar6056 ok... i got it...
Hilmand is like Hamlet. In promo said Kubra character said there's a method in his madness.
Omg, was discussing the same thing with my friend! The revenge play, madness and his existential crisis, his friends group 🥂🥂
Also, his anger for his father's brother!
Jbg is epitome 😊 😃
Snfe Aahan is kind of every one cup of tea 🍵
Yes, it is. I watch 2 to 3 times each episode. Fantastic
Again it's drama we all know that little bit beauty tricks have to be there to look good...
@@Riz64019 Yes, ab larkion ko pretty and smart bhi dekhana hae.😀 specially when they can't have open blow dried or curled hair.😁
Grease not saloon lol, kubra obeying Maj Samia Rehman ' s orders .
Why aren't you guys reviewing the drama "Khaab Toot Jaatay Hain" - as good or better than "Jo Bichar Gaye"?
Thank you for recommending jo bichar gaey.
I only watch sinfe ahan regularly.
I actually like the intro and focus on the dramas I am watching rather than the whole video. Thanks for not skipping the intro.
*Sang-e-Mah
@@marvamemon5187 no I meant sang e mar mar. I edited the comment so that it removed the confusion
It’s Norman Ejaz**
@@itxabubakar4336 it's Noman Ejaz* 🤣
Same opinion as you. I really liked little hala's performance
Don’t understand why Amna would say she couldn’t act. She is adorable and did an awesome job.
according to Wahaz Rumi of jo bichar geye is real character Rumi imam who was son of Jahanara Imam, known as mother of martyr (shohid Jononi) in our country Bangladesh. I don't know how much they kept things right but according to Jahanara Imam's auto biography Her son was young student who got scholarship from USA for his higher education that time but He chose his country over his future and joined Muktibahini and eventually martyred on the liberation war.
Thanks mam for the insight...glad that u r following the show.
In this drama they showed how he got scholarship from USA. Now I am waiting for the story to reveal more. Although I donot want to see Rumi die :(
I swear if Feroze khan does another drama like Khaani or ishqiya or Khuda aur mohabbat or now Aye musht e khaak I’m gonna lose it.
PS. *in feroze khans voice* “Dua you scared me” lol
couldnt have said it better!
Looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds.
if ghag is against women then why the mother of boy is pleading??? I thought that it is harmful for boys rather than girls...
@@fatimaahmed2118 I was a bit confused by it too. If it was considered a punishable crime, and mother was pleading for forgiveness, why did the people even take it seriously? Why Would they be scared of aerial firing , when the boy could be punished. Should not make any difference to the girl.
@@mahnoorqureshi3281 same thoughts...
You should do interview of Talha chahour aka maj farrukh
It’s Sidra**
It's fine, we find fun and comfort in each other and these rules later. It's all about the mindset 😀
That girl with umair rana is actually Pathan actress
Sang e mah: uff kya script hai bhaee kya dialogues hain aur Atif Aslam ki acting awlaaa aur nouman Ijaz🔥. Yeh drama bohat interesting hai just waiting for more episodes. Sania Saeed ki adaakaari bhi bohat achi thi MA.
I was so waiting for this Review specially for Sinf e Aahan & Sang-e-Mah
Wonderful review, as always. Just one thing. It’s pronounced “Agartla” when spoken, not Agartaala 😊
I wud urge everyone to watch both
romance and humor should not be shoved into every freaking story...grow up Pakistanis you are already 50 years behind the rest of the world 😒
Mahjabeen getting her parents and fiance to return 3 times for nonsense she herself pulled was 🤣. So were all the scenes with Dananeer.
Mere hamsafar isn't a bad drama. I don't know why you just wrote it off without giving any credit to anyone for anything. You can review amanat and hum Kahan k sachay thay but not mere humsafar ( given all three of them are the same average type dramas!)
there is no mahira khan so thats why
Sinfe ahan and jo bichar gae :these kind of dramas we want to watch more.

This tradition is still in south waziristan and blochistan's some areas.
But I still believe she is not gonna b dead)
All in all, great critical analysis of the series. Keep up the good work
I might be wrong but Ruposh felt to me like some 80s/90s Bollywood movies. I watched somewhat till 1 hour, after that I just gave up
u r not wrong
Hahaha exactly . Like Bollywood copy but a China D- grade version made. But music was Bollywood level and nice nonetheless.
Jo bichar gae dobara and Sange mah my favourite ❤️
