That’s good to hear. That may be the much better choice. Ideally, the same amount of tickets should be sold each day. I know Sundays can be tricky because the con is open a few less hours and sometimes the celebrities leave early to make flights and whatnot. Hope you grabbed some good autographs! Thanks for watching!
You caught my friend and I in Patricia Summersett's line in your video! I agree that it was very poorly organized as far as autograph lines go. I wonder if they didn't get the amount of volunteers they were hoping for this year. I am used to seeing more volunteers/staff assisting with line management.
I was there, it was fun but lord it was unorganized… it took SO LONG JUST TO GET IN THE ACTUAL CONVENTION! the line for alex brightman was so wild and they kept capping it and being like “come back at this time and you can get in blah blah” id go back and nope CAPPED! a lot of us brightman fans just would walk around in a circle around the booths so we could watch for them to uncap the line😂 we called ourselves the CAP train. anyways we all got to meet alex and he was awesome so
It was honestly the most disorganized con I have been to. O didn’t even mention the line to just get in - that was absolutely ridiculous - they need to start shipping out badges like SDCC and NYCC. There is absolutely no reason you should have to wait over 30 minutes to just pick-up a badge!
@ i agree! we waited so long just for them to open the doors that shouldve been opened at 10 when the con opened yet it was way after that before we could finally walk in and wait the additional time to pick up those badges! it was mess
My son and I were in the Sam Witwer line for hours. The organization was horrible! One volunteer was extremely rude when it was their fault for how disorganized it was. Outside of that, we had a good time, especially meeting Christiansen Haydensen.
Yeah, Hayden is awesome!! I have met him twice. The organization was a disaster and no volunteer should ever be rude. I understand how they can become frustrated, but ring rude will help no one. Glad to hear you still had a good time
Me and my friend went this year and we couldn’t meet everybody that we wanted to get around too because all of the lines were so long and it was kinda impossible to tell which line was for which celebrity. It was kinda the same way the previous 2 years but there was less people there was a ton more this year. I think they should not use tape on the ground and instead use stanchions and have way bigger spaces for people so it’s way more organized. The VIP lines were also barely moving.
They over sell tickets and it gets worse every year. I drove two hours and got one autograph. The only solution is to either sell less tickets (which they will never do) or move to a bigger venue (which will cost more money). GalaxyCon is all about the money, not the fans.
Sorry you had a uneventful time there. I hardly see any volunteers managing the lines. At Fan Expo, I saw lots of fans in lines for today’s voice actors from Nickelodeon, One Piece and other animated shows. I waited 2 hrs in line for Bruce Campbell. Wait time for him beats Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy (1 hr and over 45 mins from Sinister Creature-Con) past 10 minutes.
2 hours for Bruce Campbell is very reasonable and worth it! There were barely any volunteers - and the ones I did see were too busy just yelling at people in the isles threatening to call security - like how about helping organize the lines instead.
My friend and I went. We had fun but they sold way too many tickets. We couldn't meet the bigger guests because of the lines so we stuck to all the smaller ones.
Probably a good move 👍🏻 A few years ago when Rosario Dawson was there, I waited almost 4 hours - it was insane! They sell way too many tickets for sure.
If you went to GalaxyCon Columbus, what are your thoughts?
Sunday wasn't as crowded. And lines moved better.

I agree, but it was also one of the best days ever bc I met Jamie Campbell Bower! And… I didn’t know the pew pew part was in here 😂😂😂😂
lol, the pew pee is for the lucky people who watch the whole video!! 😂

I’ve never seen so few volunteers in all my years of going to conventions!

Thats crazy! That night king car is DOPE as hell!!!
It is pretty darn cool - I wish I would have filmed the back and trunk too.

WOW…that show really looked poorly organized. 😢
Yeah, just way too many people - and then you have some of the bigger celebrity cancellations and everyone feeds into the same lines.
