Does it work I’ve got dreads locks but I never had dry scalp ever in my life I never used oil or grease as a kid and teen and I was fine then one day this randomly happened to me and it’s annoying I’m like bro why
@@RAINLORDV2 Yes it works. I have less hairfall and my hair is thicker and softer. I have straight hair so I don't know if it's works on dreadlocks. I mentioned this because straight hair relatively easy to be taken care of. And it easy to remove the flakes that traps at the hair root too. If you want to try, maybe you need the scalp comb. Hope this helps.
@@RAINLORDV2maybe something has happened with your sebum production. the scalp is just an extension of the skin of your body so it should moisturize but I would not shampoo it out. you're sebum cannot travel down the shaft of your hair because you have dreadlocks for one. I'm surprised it's not the dreadlocks that are dry as opposed to your scalp . good luck when you try it
@@moo4115 Depends on the frequency you doing it and the severity or how dry. Mine was ver dry, with thick buildup. It became that way after using ketaconazole mind you 😣. Anyway I do the oil treatment 4 times a week, it takes about 2-3 weeks to see visible result. If you trying this, how to know if you do it right, when you wash your hair, you'll notice the dry skin shedding with the fallen hair. Because the oil soften the buildup dry skin.
While all of those things are helpful tips, often times it can simply be the quality of your water. I have very hard water, and use products for that. 🌞
@@HelenFire420dr dray dropped a video recently about hard water filters and how they don’t actually help that much with the hard water, but they do help lower the amount of chlorine or something which still helps
Would you say it’s better to air dry or to use a blow drier? I’ve heard some people say it’s not good to have a damp scalp (post shower) when you go to bed, but I hate the heat from blow driers, even on a cool setting
If you're able to air dry fully before bed, that's ideal for avoiding both physical damage and heat damage. But if you go to be with wet hair, you'll be encouraging fungal growth on the scalp, and hair breakage in the strands.
I do all of this and still struggle with dry, flaky, extremely itchy scalp while my hair gets oily 3-4 days after wash (or else I would wash even less often)
If you can, do your hair in your kitchen, where you'll use less water, use less hot water, & you'll be able to get your head closer to the faucet for more water force. I have much experience doing this.
I love your sense of humor. You've seemed extra feisty lately and it's great! 😂
The emphatic little hops did it for me 😅
It's almost time for Texas to cool off (70s) & the doctor & I are excited for it.

I use olive oil+rosemary essential oil to moisturize my scalp. I leave the mixture on my scalp for 30 minutes and wash it with anti dandruff shampoo.

Thank you so much for your advice

I do too, I bought a shower head with a filter and it works wonders.
@@HelenFire420 A new showerhead will be my Christmas gift to me.

What products do you use that helps with hard water?
@@HelenFire420 which one please
Try castor oil on the scalp/hair overnight (wearing a cap to protect linens). Natural and works wonders.
Great advice
Been using small amounts of mild shampoo and conditioner under warm showers, and don't use hairdryer.
Still got dry scalp.
jojoba oil that closely resembles your natural sebum. check to make certain your shampoo does not have drying ingredients in it
Should you oil your scalp after washing like with a light oil
👀…Not me showering and washing my hair with the water turned up to hell 🔥…I will fix it 🫣
Thank you ❤

It’s not for your SCALP bruh what’d you hear

Anything for oily scalp ?

I have really thick and tangly and frizzy hair and I don’t know what to do about it cause I always want it out but it never works😢
I don’t do all that and still have dry scalp 😂
When you have thick hair it's soooo hard to rinse it fully unless the water is fairly hot

I think if you're not already doing this you need to take small sections and rinse each one thoroughly
Flaky scalp is a yeast.
I hate the way u talk. But love ur content
I don't do any of those things and I still have a dry scalp 🫤
Try using rosemary oil on your scalp at least for 30 min before you shampoo.... A little goes a long way...👍🏻 Avocado oil is awesome, too..
