Was wondering how Capt. Crozier is doing now? His book is excellent and quite generous in spirit considering what happened when Covid hit. I had Covid in California at that time, and watched as best I could what was happening on the internet. It was rough going, especially not knowing what we were dealing with. Capt. Crozier, you accomplished your goal with the book, too. It's a great read and helps the civilian understand better. Thanks, honor and admiration for your service. Hope you are finding new, healthy pathways forward. Hang in there.
This man deserves a medal.Certainly not to be fired. To many military soldiers don’t give a damn about their crew. I’ll be one to get his book The soldiers told the story when the crew cheered him as he walked off that ship Never seen anything like it
Based on the information that was available at the time, he did EXACTLY what a responsible captain SHOULD AND WOULD have done. He is the kind of captain that members of the Armed Forces would follow through the gates of hell and back. We need more like him.

Your crew completely backed you. You should be so, so, PROUD.

What happens to the nuclear reactor if all of the trained Nucs are too ill to work?
Help we have a disease that only 99.999% of my crew is going to survive.
That comment is very inaccurate, misleading & condescending.
At the time he made his decision no one knew how COVID would turn out.
When COVID first happened, no one knew what we were dealing with. He was trying to ensure their safety and medical care.
