All credit to Marlow. Thames looked the stronger crew and seemed to have broken through coming past Remenham. Marlow got stuck in Thames' puddles and a lesser crew would have folded. Got to admire Marlow's determination and skill to hold it together when all looked lost.

Yeah poor Thames stroke. You can see at 7:50 his blade work is already gone. Credit to him for giving absolutely everything. Good effort.
