This song breaks me down into tears every time I hear it, but it also gives me so much courage to face life these days. I know this doesn't sound like a huge deal to many people, but I decided last Sunday that I couldn't worship in church anymore while wearing a mask. We have a very small church & we're able to spread out & socially distance anyway. Some church members still criticized me while I was in church. I don't feel welcome there anymore, even though I grew up in that church & have attended there for many years as an adult. Now there are several in my family & church family who are judging me. But I know that God will be with me & guide me even as I walk in this fire. I know this is a very small persecution compared to believers in other countries. It reminds me to pray for my brothers & sisters who are faced with serious persecution and/or death for their faith.

Yeah but for her it's just words. When Chris Davenport sings it, it's more than just words. For that song to work you have to feel the pain, the hurt, the sorrow. That despite all of that you weren't, aren't, and won't ever be alone. God is right there beside you.

I survived septic shock 3 yrs ago after a struggle with mal nutrition following weight loss surgery. The feeding tube they placed poked a hole in my intestine and the infection that followed was washed away 6 times, they did multiple blood transfusions, etc. None of this helped. As I was in a coma my entire family was called in to say goodbye while I was on life support. Several churches here and abroad, even the surgeon, nurses and entire team were praying for me. I rallied and they tried one more thing. It was radical so after initial recovery and 2 months in the hospital I spent a year with an open stomach wound. Finally this year my abdominal wall was re-made but it was worth it. That whole ordeal was so terrible but not once was I alone. I tell everyone that just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego I was never alone in that fire..... Sooooo when I heard this song a few days ago 😭 Oh precious Lord. It's just what was in my heart. Thank you.

I feel like Im really lost rn. I have done a lot of stupid things this covid19 season. And hearing this song kinda spoke volume to me that wherever I go, I will never be alone even when the situation tells me so. This song reminds me that there will always be another who will always welcome me again and love me no matter how distant I have become. I had a lung collapse and as I said my last goodbye and felt no pain just knew it was it my mother grabbed my hand and screamed for Jesus Christ to please help me, I kid you not I felt a rush through my whole body that second and I made it. The emt saw me and had no idea how I was alive and was worried I would die on the way to the hospital but it was that moment I knew I was saved through faith. God bless

God has been using Hillsong to speak to me through music since I was about 7 and now I’m 20 years old. It was an absolute blessing to be in the 2019 Miami Concert and to maybe be in this music video somewhere 😂 it’s such a dream to be apart of a Hillsong music video.

God just spoke to me through this song. I was watching a couple of songs of Taya and this one kept popping up. That small still voice kept telling me to click on it. I ignored it for a while and clicked on several other ones. But the voice kept telling me to go back and watch "another in the fire". I am really really glad I did hearken to His voice. It was like He was talking directly to me. I felt His strong presence, His love and He reminding me of His Convenant with me : Isaiah 43. Thank You Jesus and God bless you Taya and Hillsong. Now this is how God speaks with us : through His words from the Bible, songs, dreams, visions, from the voice of others, etc. Help us be attentive, hear, listen and obey Your voice oo God. Amen

How amazing to know that this was Premiered on my birthday.... one that possibly I shouldn't have celebrated since on March 1st I was rushed to Hospital after I collapsed unconscious during a 1/2 Marathon event! After that a spiral of health issues, Covid 19 restrictions, and other problems encountered at my work and my wife's. God saved my life through a miracle, I'm sure and all is being 'solved' one by one through his grace! God is so so, so Good.
