They actually made the loops in DS Rainbow Road work, and it looks near identical to how it functioned in MKDS.
It's a shame that the Loop in MK7 working better than MKWii.

Glad to see Mario Kart 7’s still getting some appreciation. I’ve been enjoying it a lot myself over the past few months and while I really enjoy it, I can understand why it might be hard for many people to go back to with the game’s slower pace and outdated hardware. (The fact 8 Deluxe’s competitive meta is effectively the opposite of 7’s top combinations but it still has a lot of 7’s courses really says a lot about this game, unfortunately.)
I love 7, its one of my favorites modded. The only thing I can't understand is why the base game never had a versus mode and you could only do cups
Wow these tracks and characters look so good! Some very creative ideas there for sure (like the Painted Swampland track and the Nintendo Arcade rabbit as a character), so kudos to all the folks who worked on them.
Excited to see what else this pack will have in future
The Painted Hills one from NSMBU is so creative, these all look fire I might download the pack tbh

We’re gonna get absolutely insane track design in the future considering that antigravity has been added. We might be able to play Mario kart 8 tracks in the future

@@jclkaytwo I was kinda wrong for the Mario kart 8 tracks part but there are two tracks with antigravity.
Both are from the cups added in the latest update.
DS Rainbow Road and most importantly Roulette Road.
The antigravity works like it did in Mario Kart DS. Not actual antigravity, just loop-de-loops.
@@L-etth ah makes sense. yeah I didn't expect them to be able to implement full anti-gravity like in 8. but it's still super impressive that they got the loop working, since that seems to be impossible in wii.
Really cool update to an already fantastic mod! Castle of Time and Miku’s Birthday Spectacular especially got some good upgrades.

This pack looks absolutely fantastic, so many retro, nitro and completely custom tracks all in one. The extra characters is a nice bonus ✨
The community of MK7 modding is really really great! As a member of the CTGP-7 Discord and actually doing the blue coin challenge, it makes Mario Kart 7 1000x better!

This mod looks incredible! Great showcase! I just hope that CTGP-7 will have a version at some point in the future where 3DS CFW is not necessary.
You can’t really run homebrew on your 3DS without CFW.
Finally a new update been waiting for over 6 months
I think DK summit can be improved by maybe adding boost panels at the end with the snow or a glider its just not as amusing with out the half pipes or the shy guys
this is a cool update but purple MT for the karts would be good like on the mariokart wii inside drift karts that would be awesome :D

I wish CTGP-7 online in either mode supported/allowed 3d to be used, but instead, the "render optimizations" are forced on, and those disable 3d support. I know not everyone cares about it, but I want at least the option to control that even online. I've never even noticed any improvements in how the game runs from it in offline, so I don't really understand why it's forced on.

It's forced on because the game lags online with custom tracks. As simple as that.

This makes me want to get a 3DS so bad, I did have one before but it was fried because something was spilt in it, no idea how.
You need to mod/hack your 3DS if you plan on getting another one it’s pretty simple there dose tutorials on TH-cam
Also the Nintendo online servers shutdown but luckily I think this mod has built in online servers

Not sure, since it’s a mod there’s bound to be ways of exploits but maybe the mod devs are aware of this and have an anti cheat not sure
i wish i could play this but citra emulator is down and other emus arent that good or they are paid and i dont wanna buy a 3ds just to hack it and play ctgp

In the Universal Updater, you just need a copy of the original mario kart 7
The instructions on how to set up this game are too complicated, when I just want to run it in Lemonade or some fork of Citra!
Then nintendo comes out of nowhere and hires a third party company to threaten you into taking this down.

I can't install this, if i update luma to 13.0 or above the 3ds crashes. Any fix for this? (I reinstalled luma 12.0.1 and the 3ds now works but i can't play this game anymore)
