As someone who learned words out of context through flashcards and word lists vs. learning in context. Learning in context is SO much better. I’m learning way faster and can actually have conversations now. Took 5 years of French. I don’t use flashcards/word lists anymore and I’m now upper intermediate in vocab. I read a lot and watch a ton of videos. I use Language Reactor to highlight words I don’t know and once I know them, I turn them to green. Doing the same with Korean now.

wow somehow this video just cleared on of my problems with learning a new language. I‘m not sure why but I forgot that back then in school I also studied word lists and checked the next class if I remember them. It was the way to study and somehow I forgot 😅 thank you so much, I will study like this now again. 🥰
