I showed my 5610 to a real watch collector, who said "Wow, that's aftermarket". Yeah, that's aftermarket, cause I've invested $15 to get a white bezel. In Your face, Rolex!
I have the white Casi-Oak and I love it. I get a ton of watch nerd recognition. My first watch was a casio and it reliabily got me to class on time, met friends, got home for dinner. I wore casio for years and years until I got my first smart watch (fitbit) and then a garmin. Now I'm in Rolex and Tudor, but I think I need a little $20 casio just because
I'm not your viewer for long time but I have to admit you look significantly happier and more thrilled when talking about unexpensive Casio watches than anything other😂😂
Something I love about Casio is that when a couple owns two of one and have activated the hourly sound, when both watches sound at the same time there is a special moment. ❤
I bought a Casio F-91W 2 weeks ago and let me tell you, putting this on my wrist feels like taking a long deep breath. I've been wearing automatics for so long, it felt like I was grounding myself in a way... or like a caveman, who couldn't believe the watch was still accurate after a week 😂. Casio simply works!
Recently I purchased a Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S JDM solar powered and radio controlled watch with Bluetooth connectivity, directly from a Japanese ebay seller. I love it, it combines geeky functionality with great build quality!
I am a huge fan of the Duro, I own two, the bronze version and my latest the black with half blue bezel and blue second hand which is my favourite Duro version. Both I put on black NATO straps which really takes them up a notch. for $50-$80CAD, you really can just grab a collection of different ones. Also own a GA 700, a bronze World Time, and a monster of a watch a gg1000 Mudmaster which is just one of my favourite watches overall. In fact I just realized my entire bottom row of my watch box is now filled with nothing but Casio at this point. Even though people generally love Casio I still think they get overlooked in just how much quality control and just quality in general they seem to have. I remember seeing a video of their manufacturing of high end G-Shocks and you would think it was something out of Grand Seiko factory. Even on the lower end, my Mudmaster sometimes I just enjoy watching the Quartz powered second hand hit every marker perfectly, something you sometimes don’t even find on more expensive Swiss Quartz options. Or the Duro dial which I can’t seem to find a single QC flaw on.
Your list has a good selection, Casio has so many watches... Some of my favorites: The Casio A500, which is a world timer like the AE1200 squeezed into a case more like the A168 (but a bit more square). It's available in 'gold' and 'silver', a more dressy option if you want those 4 time zones. The DW291 is a chunky world timer which has a mineral crystal, 20 bar WR, 10 year battery, and wears pretty well on a 6.5" wrist. It's more robust than an AE1200. The buttons are much easier to operate than G-Shock buttons. The W217H is a larger version of the F-91W with an improved display and backlight. Same features otherwise.
Excellent job here, Brittany. The classic 5600 has been daily wear as a healthcare worker for over 15 years. The Duro is my weekend "around the house" watch. I've had my eye on that black Bluetooth 2100 for quite some time. Might just need to make it a reality. Best always...
My favorite Casio is definitely the A100WE-1A.The vintage vibe is just so cool! Before I bought my A100WE-1A, the Orient Kamasu is my beater watch, but now I wear my A100WE-1A much more than the Kamasu. I just so fall in love with it!
I went from an Orient automatic over a series of Seiko Prospex automatics and Solar, via a couple of Citizen Eco Drives, to a collection consisting of only G Shock watches. A couple of GMW-B5000, silver and black, ( my wife rocks the burgundy red one, a stunner), a couple of GW-6900, a black and a white one, a GW-9200 Riseman, my favourite « Master of G », and last but not least a G-Steel GST-B400XD, JDM only, with a stunning Carbon fibre bezel. They are all Tough Solar, combined with Multiband 6 and/or Bluetooth. Love them all, accurate, reliable, rugged timepieces. My 2 GW-6900 and the GW-9200 are well over 10 years old, still running perfectly, on their first battery, charging and syncing like they were new. Unbeatable value for money.
The F91W is the only Casio I own and wearing it is a nostalgic trip back in time, plus the fact I'm on the last hole to make it comfy. Great history lesson Brit, enjoyed it
The Duro is a great option. Folks can’t believe that it’s a $40-$50 watch. I swapped the resin straps for a single pass silicone strap and it’s my favorite weekend watch.
Great video Britt. I have 50 watches and nearly half of them are Casio/G-Shock. Being a professional ham-fisted Geordie and lift engineer, they suit my working lifestyle. The Casio Duro is worn by Bill Gates whom says “it’s all the watch you’ll ever need”. My F-91w cost £8 on Amazon about 10 years ago.
Great list Britt. This video proves how cool and down to earth you are! Another great value to consider is the SGW100B-3V. It is called the twin sensor. It is 200M water resistant, has a built in electronic compass, thermometer, all the alarms, stopwatch, etc. It is super easy to read with a large display and superior backlight. All for $45.
OH BLESS YOU! This comment made my day. Thank you so so much. Ouuu I need to look into this now! 😱✨ Ok. I’ve looked into it. Now THAT is a rugged watch! That looks like it make it to hell and back!
Great vid. I have a Casio GD120CM. Camo. Use it every day for work, timed walks with my wife & hunting. Had it since 2016. Added a dial bumper, stainless band keeper & Suunto compass. Drove the missus nuts. She said what are these mods good for? My reply, nothing. Just want them & they’re cheep. The fun of loving watches. Keep up the fun. Paul.😁
Britt, what’s refreshing video! We should be talking more about the value and quality Casio/GShock bring to the watch world, and as gateway items to inspire interest in watches in younger folks. Thank you, again!
Just picked up my 3rd Casio, a G-shock 5600. Upgraded from my daily W800H. Although I switch to my CA-53W for work my workday, Monday through Friday. A Casio, to me, is like other tools or items in my EDC (every day carry). Great watches that won't make me sad or broke if I need to replace them. And being able to upgrade or switch out depending on mood or situation make it appealing to collect, like pocket knives and other edc gear. Great video!
The vision of Kikuo Ibe who created the G-Shock and who still remains the G-Shock Creative Director is one of the great chapters in modern industrial design and represents Vox Populi e Horologia throughout the world. I would seriously suggest that Ibe is the single most influential personage in world horology. Rolex currently produces 800,000 to 1,000,000 watches per year and Casio is well into their second 100,000,000.
Amen, Britt! Can't get enough Casios! I have 6 on your list. My 3 favorites are: Casio Royale, A168 & G Shock DW5600 (my beater). But they are all charming in their own way. No one does cheap watches like Casio (Casio Royale WR is 100m).
Regarding the confusion about the water resistance of the AE-1200 world time : The caseback on mine is stamped 10bar, which is as near to 100 meters as it gets. I've had mine for five years and it is a brilliant watch. Five time zones, five alarms, count down timer, stop watch and other features. Still about £20 from Amazon, an incredible bargain.
I got the square solar one last summer. Its a hell of a watch: diffrent time zones, timer, stopwatch etc. And due its radio frequency adjustment it is extrem acurate watch out rolex :-)
My first g shock I ever had was a black dw6900 back in 2014, I still have it but I took the battery out after it died. I have a few limited editions too which I wear on special occasions 😊
I recently bought an orange F-91W and I think it's great, cost £20 off ebay, also bought a black second hand one for £3, needed a new strap, got a new strap for £2.99. Also had an F-108 for a few years, which I use to set the time on all my other watches, as i've also got various mechanical watches as well as quartz.
Still love my GMS2100 - the 40mm, metal case version of the Casioak. Analog hands, digital seconds. It’s my favorite Casio. Always love a new video from fancy boi Britt
Great video of these watches. I have two Casio dive watches not on this list that I recommend for anyone with a small size wrist who think the MTD 106 maybe too large for their wrist. The watches I own are the Casio MTD 1053D dive watches. Great value for money imo having a 200M water resistance, rotating bezel, date, and is 38mm - 40mm with a screwdown crown. They come on a stainless steel bracelet and also come in either a black dial and bezel or a blue version which has a sunburst dial. Both really good watches for the price of around £50-£60. I have had mine now for around 5 years and they have never let me down. Definitely worth searching out for these really good watches.
yes make the song come back please! wore the dw6900 in mid 90's when it was first released on my tiny kid sized wrist, it was comical but all the cool kids were doing it, it gave me so much joy pressing the light button :D
I just started hanging here in your channel because my partner is interested to watch some wristpiece reviews from a woman's perspective, and hell she's very hooked right now and I cannot see the reason why she won't stop watching you. You're very intuitive and keep it going! You and The Mad Watch Channel are very fun to watch! Don't stop please, my partner is always tuning in for new videos you upload!
You made some excellent choices from the Casio collection. I am also a big fan of the 2100 as a daily wear watch. It is stylish enough to pull off most settings, but durable and functional enough to wear to the gym or doing some rougher activities. I have a Duro with an upgraded leather strap and it looks great and I have received many complements on it.
Loved the video! I bought the G-shock DWE 5600 set like yours after watching your previous video. Couldn’t resist 😂 Also, please bring back the patron song!
Bahaha you have spent your money WELL my friend! I bloody love my interchangable set!!! It's like owning all of the basic DW5600's! And it has pleasantly surprised me with how much I like yellow! It would have never been my first choice... But now, I wear it the most.
I picked up another classic style square a GW M5610 in the argos sale last week for £80. Solar power, radio time setting plus all the other usual square features. Perfect for long rainy trips away on the motorbike when a rolex or cartier is far from ideal.
The G shock King with positive screen and bullbars, solar power, no battery, automatic time set every night, never runs low, best G shock I’ve ever had. 👍🇬🇧
For us growing up in the UK buying a casio from Argos was our childhood. Talking of which - you can still buy a F-91w for 9.99 from there - who buys from the casio website!?! Thanks for giving some air time to digis!
Always sign the song lol you nailed it on the head we go in waves in are watching collecting when I turned 21 my girl at the time bought me a Relic watch and I thought it was was a big deal been a college kid at the time it doesn't work any more I need a new movement from Relic but I keep it as is because of the memory that comes with it we all through waves of buying super expensive watches to back to normal ever man watches it all comes back full circle. To me it all comes down to enjoying your money when you are alive and buying what you want after all the money doesn't go with you when you die as long as you are been responsible with your money and not going in to debt with a watch buy what you want and have fun with it life is way to short not to what up late watch gang fam.
I own a black and a green bezel duro, and I cannot recommend them enough! They are big watches but the lug to lug dimensions keep them under control and wearable for a ton of wrists. These are my cheap watches that keep more expensive pieces off my wrist.
Top video and great channel! I'm a collector myself. Casio all the way but mostly G»Shocks. I'm an 80's kid, so I have the classic F91W and it's variations as well as the calculator watch, which a lot of kids used to cheat in maths in school here in the 80's! Most of my pieces are of the radio controlled type, but I still have about 13 or so that I have to manually set every time the clocks change.
Really, what have you done to me... Now i want two wave septers, 1 AE1200, and a duro... 😁 Love your content so much. Amoung other watch reviewers you provides the most valuble informations we need. Thank you so much. 👍💪
The GW-M5610 is my all time favorite watch! The solar powered capability of the watch and the durability is 👌👌👌 Also, Casioaks are great because of it's durability and thiness 💛 Your casio videos are my favorite! Thanks! 😊
I love this video!! 😎 I have 2 GShocks (GA 100 black and GA 700 skeleton) that I regularly wear for work (1 at a time guys and gals geez.. 🤪). And My Lady collects GShocks with 4 currently in her collection and more to come 😉
LOL 0:58 such a fancy boy.. 🤡 Editing on point.. bravo 😅 Love the baby blue and pink one, but its really hard to find here in Norway :/ Or i really want to buy the G-shock lego square
Great video. I have a ton of Casio watches. The DW5600 is amazing, and I have one, but I always reach for the GWM5600 instead. At $150 (USD) you get tough solar/atomic radio clock sync. I recently went into the Rolex/Patek AD on Rodeo in LA wearing it for shits and giggles. PS: I wear my Casio Royale (AE1200) quite a bit. Casio official WR spec for it is 10 bar...so you were spot on.
I have two squares and a g-7900-1cr. I can honestly say G shocks are by far the most useful, less stressful watches you can wear. I want to see more g shocks on this channel 😂😂😂
My Casio F-91W filled with water when I cycled just one mile in the rain while wearing it. Amazingly, it was still working and dried out after a week. A lot of the other Casios are too big and 'clunky' for my 6.5 inch wrist. I prefer my current Lorus sports watch: highly legible but compact analogue dial, Lumibrite, slim stainless steel case, 100m water resistance, easily replaceable nylon strap, all for (currently) £25.
Do you have it for long? Or have you taken it to have the battery replaced? Because mine lasts years being taken into swimming all the time. If you just bought it, it is possible you've been given a fake one. There are a lot of fakes of F91s, even the 'CA5I0' trick have been copied on better fakes.
@@EffendiChung I had the Casio watch for about one year, before the incident I mentioned. It worked in every way like a genuine Casio, but maybe it was a fake - who knows?! After drying out, it lasted another year. I binned it when the battery went flat.
@@TheTerryMarsh1 Yeah, my guess is its a copy. But really, its a really cheap watch, to the point it may cost us more money just to send it to the casio authorized repairs for warranty than to just chuck it to the bin and buy another. Just the counterfeiting operation of a $10-15 watch really blew my mind. I bought a dozen of fake F91s for $15, its worth more for just the battery, even more for the bands, and whats more ironic is, some of them uses an amber light which really leagues better than the original green light.
Those Casio Oceanus that you showed are absolutely one of the examples of having no right to give that much watch for that little money. Incredibly well finished for a watch at that price point as well. I'll still wear my CasiOak at work, though. Truly a beater that still looks good after a beating.
I have the Duro and 5610. I regularly sync the 5610 with Fort Collins CO; tried a silicone strap but prefer the stock plastic. Duro does well on a NATO.
Great list!! I'm a woman with a normal wrist, IMO, and I wear a DW9052 at work, and it fits great! So awesome that the time and time are visible at the same time. I work in the medical field and use the 10 second bar to count pulse rates and respiratory rates. It looks a bit chunky but fits the wrist well... maybe you should give it a 2nd look... Thanks for the awesome videos!!
Britney, apostrophes are not used to make a noun plural. They are used to denote possessive case (“Casio’s” means Casio owns something - which it doesn’t). The plural of Casio is Casios - yes, just add “s”., just like you did for “G- shocks”.
Ugggggh, English grammar people. My husband is like this. hahaaha. yeaaah yeaaah yeaaaaah.... It's not an English essay; it's a dumb dumb TH-cam video!
Casio Lineage - solar, atomic sync, world times, alarms, chronograph, timer, led light & average 40mm - smaller than the 5600/5610 G-Shock. Casio Oceanus - as per Lineage - but higher quality. Have a look.
I loved your video Britt, I have some of the watches you commented on and I love them all so much. I have the Casio Oak (forest), DW6900, G5610 (like the DW5600), F-91W and the Casio Duro (MDV-107, successor to the MDV-106). I gave my wife a gold Casio LA180 and recently an A700WM. Yesterday, I bought a Casio W-800H-1AVDF that was missing from my collection. Like!!
JDM Casio Wave Ceptors are 39mm. The lineage line provides awesome value with top notch materials and features. You can get titanium cases and bracelets with sapphire crystal and atomic time keeping and solar power for $200.
Nice round up of watches. I know I know, I'm late to the game on this video, but come on, there's so much watch content and the YT god don't seen to push it in the most timely manner. That being said, I just bought the Casio Oak on a Black Friday Deal and am excited. I know it'll be a solid daily beater with a great look. I already have the Casio World Timer and with a little rubbing alcohol clean-up of the labeling it looks great. Might even go for the full metal version.
I have a gw9400 rangeman, a gwm5610, a ga2100 but still… My everyday watch is the gw6900. Only a few watch youtubers mention the gw6900 but it’s the best watch I have. It’s the most comfortable too. The gwm5610 and the ga2100 cuts the side of my wrist and it always bothered me. But the gw9400 was too big for me sometimes. So the perfect choice for me was the gw6900 which isn’t as bulky as the dw version. Now I got addicted to timex ironman watches so I treated myself with the t5e901 classic.
I have 2 GWM5610 the normal display the U version, the negative display no U version also have the GW5000U and finally the Casio Duro Marlins.😃 Nice video Miss 😊
Working for TSA, it was always a joy to encounter a “joker” who thought they were being cute, wearing a F91W ……until they got moved to secondary screening and missed their flight. Yep….wear that F91W and enjoy your little “joke.” 😮😂😂😂
Something I love about Casio is that when a couple owns two of one and have activated the hourly sound, when both watches sound at the same time there is a special moment. ❤
It's kind of hard to get both of them right to the second, though. They're not going to beep at the same time.
@hugotipple Yes I understand what you mean simply in radio controlled the time is simultaneous.
@@AgeofDoom ah, ok. That should work. I wasn't thinking about radio controlled watches.
Or with two random people who have it on in the same room. Seriously, is your love that fragile that it requires a time bomb watch to enforce it?
@TheHarshWay you took it too far.
One of the main characteristics about Casio is you never have to guess the specs because they're usually written on the dial 😅 great content!

Love my G-shock. I sometimes won’t admit it but it’s the most reliable and versatile watch in my collection. 😎😅
Whaaat! THIS has officially made my day! Thank you soo much for this gorgeous comment and I am so glad you both enjoy the weird little channel! ;)
I like the patreon song used sparingly. Sort of.... A treat...
I picked up another classic style square a GW M5610 in the argos sale last week for £80. Solar power, radio time setting plus all the other usual square features. Perfect for long rainy trips away on the motorbike when a rolex or cartier is far from ideal.
Oh I absolutely love this!!
@@BrittPearceWatches and without Rolex how show off in front others bikers on the stop in the pub?
Inconceivable!!!
@@felixangellopezalonso3993 I would never wear a rolex if you need a reason why. th-cam.com/users/shortsj3eivYM6yiM?feature=share
The G shock King with positive screen and bullbars,
solar power, no battery, automatic time set every night, never runs low, best G shock I’ve ever had. 👍🇬🇧
Duro! My first watch! Best value ever!
For us growing up in the UK buying a casio from Argos was our childhood. Talking of which - you can still buy a F-91w for 9.99 from there - who buys from the casio website!?! Thanks for giving some air time to digis!
LOLLLL I'VE BEEN BUYING FROM THE CASIO WEBSITE. Like an absolute chump. Argos it IS from now on
I've got a custom modded AE1200 in a Stirling Silver case. I love the AE1200 and have a few of them.
I think you should do a Casio special with Russell from the Mad Watch Collector. I feel he is the ultimate watch gremlin!
Thanks Brittany, I’m just about to buy my first G Shock so your video was really insightful 😊
At last a genuine, normal, down to earth, woman watch lover reviewer with no snobbery.
Great video. Thanks.
Fun. You and Casio are pure fun.
“Colloquially” was the cornucopia of the fancy boy!
Really, what have you done to me... Now i want two wave septers, 1 AE1200, and a duro... 😁
Love your content so much. Amoung other watch reviewers you provides the most valuble informations we need. Thank you so much. 👍💪
The GD-350 is my favourite daily wear as a farmer. Super legible and the vibe alarm is fantastic for not waking the family for my 5am starts
Bring the song back! 😂😂 also glad to see you were wearing the calculator watch, too bad it didn’t make the cut though 😅
The GW-M5610 is my all time favorite watch! The solar powered capability of the watch and the durability is 👌👌👌 Also, Casioaks are great because of it's durability and thiness 💛 Your casio videos are my favorite! Thanks! 😊
I agree the 5610 is my daily 'warehouse wear' - it's perfect
The GWM5610 also has atomic timekeeping so it syncs with a radio antenna in Colorado every night and is as accurate as an atomic clock.
Absolutely freaking BRILLIANT!
🤡 Editing on point.. bravo 😅 Love the baby blue and pink one, but its really hard to find here in Norway :/ Or i really want to buy the G-shock lego square
i just got the ae1200 and i absolutely love it. great video
Casioak...now thats my favorite. I have 3 of them. The white gets the most wrist time. So cool.
I bought a dozen of fake F91s for $15, its worth more for just the battery, even more for the bands, and whats more ironic is, some of them uses an amber light which really leagues better than the original green light.
while talking about the f91w you're showing the f105w....the illuminator version
Where can I buy the red strap bezel shown at 2:43 ??
Those Casio Oceanus that you showed are absolutely one of the examples of having no right to give that much watch for that little money. Incredibly well finished for a watch at that price point as well. I'll still wear my CasiOak at work, though. Truly a beater that still looks good after a beating.
Ethan Hunt wore a DW6900-1V in Mission Impossible II…so that’s good enough for me!
@zachvalue Good looking watch for sure, but not a G-Shock. That's kinda my standard.
Britt is by far my favorite watch tuber
My collection started with Casios, and they're the most numerous watch brand in my collection at five out of nine.
I have the Duro and 5610. I regularly sync the 5610 with Fort Collins CO; tried a silicone strap but prefer the stock plastic. Duro does well on a NATO.
Has James given you any stick on your pronunciation of Argos yet? Never heard it called 'Ah goes' before.
Great video as always!
It’s not the worst pronunciation she comes out with… 😂
In terms of vintage, I really like the A700 with the milanese band over the A168.
Britt the calculator watch is so cool ! I bough mine last year after watch the Back to the future trilogy 😀😂👍
You should try the s2100, i have the white one and the metal black fog one. Interestingly the metal one is even smaller and isn’t just perfect.
I love that song at the end!!! FAF!
We need the patron song back! I recently bought one of the limited edition GWM5610NASA4 models. That's a 5600 with solar and atomic timekeeping.
Dude has an awesome smile.... Always makes me happy 😊
Can’t go wrong with the F-108 it’s a great watch. And hey watch it there The DW-6900 is a classic!
@@BrittPearceWatches I think you’re actually very smart, Britney (under that TH-cam persona), so I have high expectations.
Like!!
For someone who likes Rolex the Duro seems like a great beater option!
Love your G shock videos!
Casios are excellent! I'd love to see what other more affordable watches you would recommend!
"if high accuracy timekeeping gives you a chub..." HAHAHAHAHA
LOLLLL! I was hoping someone would like that! 😂👏🏻
Britt, pls review the Longines Spirit 37mm!
I really adore the aesthetic of the casio watches. It's kinda "retro futuristic."
My new hobby will be wearing an F91W to the airport.
Working for TSA, it was always a joy to encounter a “joker” who thought they were being cute, wearing a F91W ……until they got moved to secondary screening and missed their flight.
Yep….wear that F91W and enjoy your little “joke.” 😮😂😂😂
Can you explain why is this model a problem in a airport?@@Grasshopper0122
