Oddly enough the Dead Rising videos do really well in comparison to some of the weirder stuff I have after a month or so? I think the algorithm digs it for some reason since my other OTR video is I think around 8k?
@@Ecdycis Hey, I have a question, you mentioned that in 2:00 that taking pictures makes you lose time, but isn't there a feature in COOP or even a mod online that disables the freeze effect when a picture is taken? I know that mods are obviously discouraged, but what about COOP?
Co-op doesnt activate till after the prologue, as well a mod to remove the camera freeze seems unneeded, if you really wanted bonus xp talking to Denyce would suffice

I think the reason snowflake will always follow you to new zones regardless of how far away you are is so you cant purposefully leave her outside of the saferoom to use throughout the whole campaign At least that could be one of the reasons because she is pretty damn powerful for a survivor in a casual playthrough
You can leave Snowflake outside of the saferoom once you use the waypoint and say wait over there and then Snowflake wait over there. Once you enter the saferoom without Snowflake, it is too late to escort Snowflake. Human survivors will be ok to be left behind but not Snowflake.

I can't remember specifics to gimmicking the roger and reed fight but can't you stand on one of the couches with a table in front of it in the room they spawn in and confuse the ai? they think they can hit you with melee but whiff every attack, also locking Reed to be constantly trying to ram you. I think it was from a dr2 speedrun and not off the record but im curious if the boss has changed that much that you cant use that strat.
There are funny ways to kill. Just like I can easily get zombies to kill Ted. As for looters, when I meant to speedrun, I left the looters alone but looters were following. By accident, looters came with Rebecca and so Rebecca shot 1 looter. I went like ok, I will take it. That was my happy accident. Looters see Frank miles away but as for Chuck, if Chuck leaves the looters alone, the looters will leave Chuck alone. If you are in New Game Plus, survivors can easily kill psychopaths because you would already have Protoman's Blaster by now. For example, with Brandon, you can hide behind your survivors and have them use Protoman blaster to do the killing for you. Walter alone can give big damage and kill Brandon. If your survivors have Protoman blaster and shoots Slappy, Slappy will not ever get 1 chance to stand up. Even a funny guy Eric should have no problem taking down Slappy and Slappy will sit on the floor. Eric is the only survivors where once Eric shoots, he automatically falls down to the floor but he won't take damage. Eric falls down to the ground to show that he is a funny shooter. As for TK's chopper, you could already put your controllers down and let your survivors do the killing. You can get away doing absolutely nothing. Protoman's Blaster is a lot more powerful in the hands of the survivors. Almost every pyschopath I fight, I make sure my survivors will be the one to do the killing. So the only psychopath where I fight alone is 1 sniper that does not require entering a loading screen and Stacy.
In Off The Records, Looters follows from far distance. For example, I went in not caring about zombies nor looters. I used Quicksteps right after meeting Rebecca at Fortune City Hotel and then after bathroom break, I used quicksteps and speed my way to the door. The looters followed Rebecca and before the door opens, Rebecca ended up killing 1 looter and then opened the door. Looters will follow randomly. I can see why the way to killed the 3 looters at Roy Mart is used that handgun to head shot them. So you killed the looters using Rebecca's way.
By the way. If Frank West enters TK's arena as final boss, Frank West would be considered a cure. Frank West would be like Nick Ramos. I remember when I attempted to take my zombrex medication right in front of TK, the game decided to take away the zombrex. I remember seeing the bar turning red which is a sign Frank West needed zombrex. Instead of taking zombrex, I entered the arena. Then automatically, my zombrex is gone and Frank's infection was gone. I thought I can enter the arena first and then take the zombrex medication. So it is kind of weird that Frank West is cured only in TK's arena but if Frank West is located anywhere else, Frank West needs zombrex medication. Even if Frank West goes into the arena with 0 zombrex and with the zombrex health bar going red, Frank's infection is automatically cured once he enters the arena. Gaming logic is weird. That would mean Frank's way of defeating the purpose of taking zombrex is just camp out in the arena and never leave.
I don't have no right telling someone better than me at the game any advice but maybe like move your inventory around so that doesn't happen as often are you equipped or pretzel or healing item instead of your weapon just saying I know what's annoying trust me Dead Rising 3 being able to select all the weapons was actually pretty helpful in that regard so that's one for them
Do you think you’d ever speed run Star Wars: Fallen Order? There are a lot of mechanics and different types of tech you can implement as well as a lot of potential skips you can do. It’s also a really fun game to play normally haha. Though it may not be up your alley for speed runs since it’s not a horror game.
Btw kinda unrelated to the video, but I recently got a new controller and laboured for hours trying to get it to work on the game. Except for a few annoying binds I don’t know how to change it works fine, but one problem I am having is that I can’t aim and move at the same time (kinda like how it was in the original Dead Rising). Considering you were also playing with a controller on a PC, I was wondering how you managed to fix it?

Snowflake is just great
You can leave Snowflake outside of the saferoom once you use the waypoint and say wait over there and then Snowflake wait over there. Once you enter the saferoom without Snowflake, it is too late to escort Snowflake. Human survivors will be ok to be left behind but not Snowflake.
Always a nice time when you get a commentated PB. Fun and informative start to finish.

I found Snowflake on accident because I got lost when I learned the regular route casually, it got routed into the All Bosses route as a result!
I can confirm that the weird glitch in Case 7-4 happened to me too, you're not alone
So I want to say the glitch was either caused by having too high an FPS or not having the game in a high enough priority
The Knife Gloves are a Wolverine reference, Chuck wears yellow and black and has a tragic past. Keep up the awesome work bro

6 shooter is OP. I gave some to some of my survivors and they turned into an unstoppable zombie and psychopath killing mob.
