I like Tyler Boyd, Calvin Ridley and Mike Williams the most primarily because the WR’s in front of them in their team’s Depth chart are currently injured. Christian Kirk and MVS could either have really big years or really mediocre/underwhelming years due to all the WR’s in their team. That’s just me.
For me, the WR going later with the most upside is Mike Williams. With T.Williams gone, he can increase his rec and yrds total and he already caught 10 tds last year on only 43 rec. And if K.Allen gets hurt (again) he could put up top tier WR1 numbers. His size/speed and upside put his ceiling far above that of guys going in his range.

I've played fantasy for quite some time and your thing about 'drafting before they break out' has been something that I've done over the years. Mike Evans is being drafted alongside Keenan Allen, TY Hilton and Adam Thielen when he belongs in the mini tier below the top 5 with Antonio and Juju. He has like 5 years in a row of 1000+ yards production and has by far the best coaching staff and offensive scheme of his career. Hes being slept on hard. And Daesean Hamilton is a fine pick, but his upside looks to be somewhere around high end WR3. Around the same ADP you can get guys like Funchess, MVS, and Moncrief, all of whom have the chance to be strong WR2s if they can lock down the number two receiver jobs on their respective teams. In the late rounds shouldn't the number one criteria be upside?
Also Daesean Hamilton is not being drafted anywhere near MVS or Moncrief. MVS is going 9th round and Moncrief is 10th round. Daesean is 14th-15th round. Even funchess is going in the 12th. Not sure where you're getting your ADPs dude but they're way off
I do most of my drafting on Fantasy Football Calculator and Yahoo because I have a lot of drafts on that site. In those places the things I said are accurate. Mike Evans keeps going in the middle of the 3rd and Hamilton, MVS, etc. All round out around mid 13th round ADP. I do a lot of drafts on those sites and this is what I'm seeing.
Aaron Elkin I’d try using sleeper for the next week or two. It’s more accurate than those sites. Then swap to the platform you’ll be drafting on. Because those ADPs are a little off

The 49ers have the most potential to be the best defense in that division, but again nothing scary about their defense. either way the cardinals are going to get their plays off.. 90 plays a game, with a playmaker at QB, Kirk, Issabella will break loose for some wide open big plays. Metcalf needs surgery, so not looking at him anymore. Humphries is fine, but not a ton of upside. Brown is a solid late pick, just don’t expect a whole lot early on

I think it's just relative to where they are drafted. If a WR13 ends up WR11, it's not much of a steal. If a WR40 ends up WR24, that's more of a steal even tho 24 is worse than 11

I think it all depends on what your 1st round pick is. If you take a WR, then you pretty much need to spend your next two picks on RB and just hope there is still a decent QB left over in the 4th or 5th round. That's the way I look at it. And things can get even thinner at RB for you if you have the opportunity to take Mahomes or a top-tier TE in Round 2 and you take it. Heading into round 3 without a RB yet, you'd better spend your next three picks on that position because WRs are deep this year.

Fantasy Football Advice this is a home league on ESPN idk if you’ve seen but Williams is shocking ranked at 44 so I can go two WR’s for my first 2 rounds. Julio and Tyreek hill are listed as top 20 whereas Chubb is at 29 and is falling to the late 3rd round in 10 team leagues

J Laramie I like Evans....only one thing scares me. If you look back at his career he has a glaring pattern of following a good year with a bad one. When he comes off a bad year, he gets drafted too low and puts up big numbers. So the next year he gets drafted high and busts. I think veteran drafters are aware of this pattern and are wary of him because he is coming off of a solid season

In j.ville, we got a heavy dose of rookie TE to draft. Fant was behind hockenson, but if I rember correctly, it was because TJ was more complete, but fant had more upside as a reciever. Joe flaco also known to love a TE. That being said, rookie TE historically not very good.
James Washington Highly Highly under rated in yahoo. Watch his college tape. He will rise to a high volume #2. Perfect deep threat. Got to get better at his tree but he's an amazing athlete and ball catcher
If I was stuck between the 2 I’d take Godwin without thinking twice. Kirk put up 123 points last year. Now he has a better QB this year but we don’t know if this college offense will work at all in the NFL. As we saw after their first game the defenses attacked the edge and it barley allowed Kyler to complete any passes. I personally am not on the Cardinals bandwagon and believe they will fail hard. Godwin on the other hand put up 185 points last year and will only be better this year with Desean Jackson moving on to the eagles. Also Evens will get double coverage in many instances leaving even more opportunity for Godwin. Tampa Bay has a better offensive line and I would expect Winston produce better completion percentage than last year. Go with Godwin.
traplandmuzik why not look for WRs with bigger upside from round 3 on like S.Diggs, C.Ridley or M.Williams? Those guys have far greater upside than the guys you mentioned.

Think Chip Kelly. They may never win more than 8 games, but they'll produce on offense. If you were talking regular football you'd be 100% right, but in fantasy the whole AZ team is trending up
I disagree Pettis was good but Goodwin is the better receiver. He's the fastest receiver in the NFL with awesome hands. Goodwin is overlook in majority of the drafts but can easily be a first round pick. Remember the 49ers was coming on at the end of the season. Goodwin's fantasy points was awesome last year.
Goodwin is not a first round pick, bro. He's underrated and a burner but the criticism on him has always been that he's an athlete and not a pure pass catcher. His catch rate was 53% for 2017-18 (that's horrible). Matt Barrows predicted he might not even make the team, which is amazing given how young the 49ers receiving corps is. Pettis is a more polished route runner, has better hands and field vision, and has the more prototypical WR1 frame. He also returns punts, which gives him added TD upside. But I think Samuel will end up being the WR1 in that offense before the end of the season.

When you say steals where are you assuming they end up on the team as? WR2? Flex? Good bench players?
I think it's just relative to where they are drafted. If a WR13 ends up WR11, it's not much of a steal. If a WR40 ends up WR24, that's more of a steal even tho 24 is worse than 11
It's relative to ADP. So they will outperform their ADP by a lot

I think it all depends on what your 1st round pick is. If you take a WR, then you pretty much need to spend your next two picks on RB and just hope there is still a decent QB left over in the 4th or 5th round. That's the way I look at it. And things can get even thinner at RB for you if you have the opportunity to take Mahomes or a top-tier TE in Round 2 and you take it. Heading into round 3 without a RB yet, you'd better spend your next three picks on that position because WRs are deep this year.

Fantasy Football Advice this is a home league on ESPN idk if you’ve seen but Williams is shocking ranked at 44 so I can go two WR’s for my first 2 rounds. Julio and Tyreek hill are listed as top 20 whereas Chubb is at 29 and is falling to the late 3rd round in 10 team leagues

The Cardinal fans are certainly concerned...I think the hope is that the new scheme and running QB threat helps to mask the deficiencies in skill on the field. But I generally agree, bad O-line and rookie QB is recipe for disaster. Nick you ultimately will be right I think but you’re a year too early. J Laramie I like Evans....only one thing scares me. If you look back at his career he has a glaring pattern of following a good year with a bad one. When he comes off a bad year, he gets drafted too low and puts up big numbers. So the next year he gets drafted high and busts. I think veteran drafters are aware of this pattern and are wary of him because he is coming off of a solid season

In j.ville, we got a heavy dose of rookie TE to draft. Fant was behind hockenson, but if I rember correctly, it was because TJ was more complete, but fant had more upside as a reciever. Joe flaco also known to love a TE. That being said, rookie TE historically not very good.

I'd take Moore. Kupp appears to be recovered from the ACL, but you never know. Moore is healthy and in a less crowded offense.

If I was stuck between the 2 I’d take Godwin without thinking twice. Kirk put up 123 points last year. Now he has a better QB this year but we don’t know if this college offense will work at all in the NFL. As we saw after their first game the defenses attacked the edge and it barley allowed Kyler to complete any passes. I personally am not on the Cardinals bandwagon and believe they will fail hard. Godwin on the other hand put up 185 points last year and will only be better this year with Desean Jackson moving on to the eagles. Also Evens will get double coverage in many instances leaving even more opportunity for Godwin. Tampa Bay has a better offensive line and I would expect Winston produce better completion percentage than last year. Go with Godwin.

Both similar teams at this point. Barkley will draw more 8 man fronts than Bell, but the Giants don't have a QB. Darnold didn't show the same chemistry with Anderson that FitzMagic did, but I still think Anderson is the better bet.

I disagree Pettis was good but Goodwin is the better receiver. He's the fastest receiver in the NFL with awesome hands. Goodwin is overlook in majority of the drafts but can easily be a first round pick. Remember the 49ers was coming on at the end of the season. Goodwin's fantasy points was awesome last year.
Goodwin is not a first round pick, bro. He's underrated and a burner but the criticism on him has always been that he's an athlete and not a pure pass catcher. His catch rate was 53% for 2017-18 (that's horrible). Matt Barrows predicted he might not even make the team, which is amazing given how young the 49ers receiving corps is. Pettis is a more polished route runner, has better hands and field vision, and has the more prototypical WR1 frame. He also returns punts, which gives him added TD upside. But I think Samuel will end up being the WR1 in that offense before the end of the season.
