  • This video takes a look at the Hornby R3366 Class 43 HST Network Rail New Measurement Train and coaches, you’ll get to hear the Hornby TTS Valenta sound with upgraded Mega Bass speakers, in the video you’ll also see the modified TGS pantograph coach with additional lighting, and see the other TGS coach fitted with the track lasers, finally you’ll see the conversion to the Hunt Magnetic couplings.
    Lighting kits from;
    www.illuminate...
    Hornby details;

    Hi, great video of the best hst livery in my opinion, I’ve got Legomanbiffo sound for my set now, looking forward to fitting it with some powerful speakers, thanks for sharing.

    Superb conversion there, will get around to it one day. This TTS decoder is absolutely superb, especially with replacement speaker. The twin coach pack is very rare, im sure you know that, i paid 140 on ebay, butvit was new! Great review again, cant praise this highly enough! Just recieved Hattons 66033eith sound fitted, mind blowing, the speaker used is massive with fsntastic bass! Another great demo, enjoyed cheers Nick.

      @@WickfieldLaneJunction This HST set is very unique in my opinion, there’s nothing else like it, I’m a big Network rail yellow livery fan, I really appreciate that Hornby have done a sterling job on it and it’s many coaches that are sold for a premium now, maybe they will produce a new set in the 21pin variant and working fans, the price will be eye watering unfortunately.

    Loving this channel. Coach lighting beyond my skill level. Im teaching myself soldering at the moment and frankly the instructors an idiot.

      Check out this web page and have a look at the Track recording coach (TGS), you’ll need to do minor surgery but it comes apart 👍🏻

    great video but if you will forgive me for saying i hate these sound decoders in the model trains, they never sound authentic it sounds like the plumbing in Rigsbys bathroom (Rising Damp) it may be before your time ? I love to here my trains run smoothly over the rails with just that clickerty clack, senonimus with the railways,imagine I have six locos running at the same I would be handed over to the noise abatement society, end of gripe, lovely video I will continue watching, regards, Colin.

      Hi Colin, with twin speakers fitted it can be quite loud, however you can adjust the sound levels. As you can see I only run with two main lines, hence having two locos with sound is enough for me 👍🏻
