Can you tell me why some neighborhoods do not have sidewalks and why some only have them on one side of the street? In this case, is it just that the community is very new and they will be adding sidewalks later? Thank you.

Yes, the assumable rate is pretty good indeed. I can speak for the community I live in. No sidewalks. It's just how the developer planned and designed it. They will not be adding any. My assumption is that it's the same for others.

@ Thanks for the reply. The sidewalks are great for people who need to walk dogs, or who walk and bike for exercise, or even allow their kids to bike. Sad to see so many Florida neighborhoods without any at all.

Their job is build it out and move on to the next project. That's why no property fencing.

Cost money to build them larger and that's why no property fencing between the lots. The land price is relatively cheap.
