Almost 11 years. God. This was the most goose bumps moment when it came to graphics back in the day, at least for me.
We had reached great heights before through Half Life 2, Crysis, BBC2, Halo Reach, Gta IV, Bioshock, but nothing compared to this.

The start of the match with all vehicles rushing together is permanent goosebumps.
This. Also the clatter of the windshield against the metal bonnett; hearing the leaf springs bounce the wheels over the rocks -- those tiny details are what make this game stand out so much. It had a groundedness to it that you just don't get in Battlefield 2042.

In my opinion they are both good, though I'd definitely hand it to bf3 for the multiplayer.
I wish I can go back in time before BF3 released just to feel excited for it to release, and to play it as if it was my first time. When I saw this trailer, I was blown away. The beta was buggy but I loved the hell out of it.

Coming back to this in 2022 gave me chills. Coming from playing various FPS’s over the years, such as Medal of Honor, CoD, BF3 brought the genre to the next level. People say BF4 was the best, but BF3 raised the bar an astronomical amount at the time and paved the way for the success of BF4 and BF1. This game is simply a diamond 💎

I want to go back in time and experience this game for the first time, life was so great and chill back then. Barely any guides and social media, playing Halo 2, Gears of War 1, Halo 3, Gears of Wars 2, Halo Reach , Call of Duty 4 and Battlefield 3. I really miss the 2004-2011 era

An Asus 560 ti 448 and i7 3930k myself when this gem came out.
That was coming from an i7 940 and gtx 285 that ran the game like total butt.

Alex Andre Hardline was built on the original B4 pre patch build. They also nerfed the game mechanics so much to tailor all age groups. It no longer comes to skill to win the game, you just have to run and gun like in COD. They dun fucked it up. $60 game DLC, $10 for Premium and allready 5 DLC's in line for this game. It will set you back around $120. Wait a year for everything to release and to be patched nerfed again
1MuchButteR1 nop, the Operator class is the OP in the squad who renders all other classes in a squad useless. Give the medic a heavy support roll like in BC1&2. The operator has the best rifles, gear and can revive team mates. The rifles have been nerfed so a 10 year old child can play the class, no recoil, less spread, fast reload. It's garbage

Battlefield 3 was a vastly superior game to all the others. It's a shame they won't remake it.
honestly I'm here because of the disappointment, they clearly have a decent game, but the trailer just looks like it was made by a fan showing his trick shot montage. which was a let down. bf3 trailer shows amazing dog fights, the new one shows a tryhard trick shot, which most likely means they've removed vehicle loadouts, so now all the snipers will be wasting jets to get to a rooftop like they did in 3 and 4 and idiots wasting them trying to pull off trick shots which will be incredibly frustrating to see when your team is getting destroyed
Wait for the Gameplay Trailer coming this Sunday. Obviously a cinematic trailer vs this gameplay trailer are vastly different.
the Battlefield 2042 trailer wasnt a gameplay trailer. I hate non-gameplay clips honestly. If you watch Battlefield 5 "gameplay" trailer, that one also sucks because majority of it was non-gameplay and majority were just scenes. THey really need to make sure Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer is like all gameplay like this BF3 Trailer.

BF 3 was a thing! It was really step forward in Battlefield Franchaise. I loved that game, especially 64 players Caspian Border, with non-stop action.
Then BF4 and Hardline happened... One is a mod for BF3, second one is additional gametype to BF3. Well... I will remember BF3 as one of the best games in entire franchaise.
Caspian border is still the best map in BF4, Second Assault maps are the best
BF4 took BF3 and made it even better , I'm not going to complain about that..
+Aurora Solaris BF4 may have been in retail beta for nearly two years, but I need to give credit where credit's due. It would have been more profitable for EA to just let BF4 die and have Battlefront release earlier (Q1/Q2 2015?), but they stuck with it. The game wasn't unplayable at launch, it just got really annoying at times. Nowhere near as bad as Halo: MCC's launch, where you couldn't play. At all. And when you could play, you still couldn't.

this was my first AAA game. My country used to be a kinda third world country, we didn't have much to play. Games like Age of Empire or Counter Strike were the most popular back in the day, even tho they were really old even at that time. And then I went study abroad and this trailer just blew my mind. I didn't know that an AAA game cost 60$, so it was quite a shock to me. Hesistant at first but then after several month watching every BF3 clips I can find online, I decided to buy this game. It was an insane experience. One of my best gaming memory.

This trailer probably converted an entire generation of Call of Duty players. I know I was one of them.
Nearly 10 years since this came and it is still reining supreme , Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer was nowhere as good as this one is.
Even after seeing the Battlefield 1 reveal, I still had to come back to this one and it still affects me the same way as the first time I saw it. I wish they could do something similar for Battlefield 1, but, no jets. :(
