I've been doing the same thing, but I'll also put books down on the other section of the card next to the bubble to cover as much of the card as possible. Then I let it sit like that for 2-5 days depending on the severity of the bend.
I haven't seen the reissued Fright Features after I found them all at Target. I hope everyone who wants them can find them. I would love more reissues...especially the glow in the dark Ghostbusters. I really haven't seen much of the other merchandise. It comes and goes quickly at my locations.
The thing to be careful about for vintage cards is the glue could be weak and the bubble could come apart more easily from the card. Use at your own risk.
The packing and care of the new Real Ghostbuster toys at Target leave a lot to be desired. I picked up a very warped Fright Feature Venkman which I was able to fix using a similar method, but every Ghostbuster toy on the shelf had some sort of damage.
I had a friend help me pack and they bent the card backwards and it snapped. It was an original Cars 2 double-decker bus. It is still “together” but has a horrible crack. Can I glue or tape it? It’s a collectors item for my son. I couldn’t believe she was so careless. She said it was to make room for it in the box. 🤦🏻♀️ It’s just floppy and almost completely broke off, because the cardboard is so old/dry.
