Yeah, this isn't remotely hellish. The game needs more forcing you to wait irl 4-7 hours before being told you're in the wrong department and an email minigame where all replies are reply-all

Depends on what you do. If sales, usually it's cut-throat psychopaths because that's what that job attracts. If it's accounting or engineering, it can range from horribly stressful to pretty chill. If in a management position, regardless of department, it's meeting after pointless meeting after pointless meeting

The body they used for Mark in 22:36 was taken from an image of the President of Brazil holding a fish. Capeta is also "Devil" in portuguese, I don't doubt the developer is from Brazil.

The bouncy walk cycle is appealing but I can't get funny imagery out of my mind for it , like a tall person walking in a crab style with how low they go.

With the way the player character moves, I like to imagine they're just skipping around hell. And I refuse to accept any other explanation.
Instead of skipping, they bend their knees so that they get lower and rise back up every couple of steps

I like how the Protag walks like they have cloven feet, the little bounce in movememt and the clack of heels against the tile is reminiscent of heeled shoes but it whould make more sense with hoofs

Hell being this corporate job with endless red tape is amusing, but all the more thanks to it being hilariously compliant, open to your suggestions and letting you expedite the process with a little effort. The ending is comedy gold to me, and the epilogue really sells it.

Just want everyone to know, I think the sprite for the devil was the red-skined guy we saw "taking a break," while manly was loading the printer. We literally passed by the king of hell, and did not realize it.

Maybe its because I'm old but I really like these 90s inspired Might & Magic 6 and 7 ish looking games, and the PS1 and N64 inspired ones. They have a certain atmosphere and very unique charm to them, never going to be recreated in modern mainstream games. I really appreciate indie developers doing this sort of thing:D

The creator of this game is brazilian, the fact that the Devil's name is Capeta (standing for demon) and also the game page having a "devil's favorites" spotify playlist with the most southern brazilian song ever, it just really stood out to me

Look, you need to fill out a Permit Request. It’s on the intranet. Can’t find it? FINE, I guess I can send you the link just this once. Make sure you fill it out accurately, or I can’t complete my task. Don’t know what to put in that field? Tough. That’s not my problem. Ok, finally. Took you long enough. It’s typically a 3 day turnaround on permit requests, but in your case I’ll make an exception. 5 days.

Fun fact "capeta" is how Brazilians say devil or demon, the Portuguese say it as "demónio", I know this because I am Portuguese.
Capeta means the devil in brazilian portuguese, it is one of the definitions we use here

I was watching - well, _listening to_ - a couple of your videos on queue so that I'd be too scared to look at the screen and focus on doing my work. This one seems pretty silly so far. And funnily enough, this reminds me of that one concept I had for school when we had to present what our ideas of hell might look like. Though it'd take too long to explain, so I'll leave it at that.

Yeah, totally 100% inaccurate. Outside of Hell, each and every signature would have required 10-12 Buisness days to receive your document back. THEN it would require to be sent via certified mail to someone on the next floor, and another 30-40 working buisness days for the request to be processed.
And no, there is NO epic music when you unlock the next procedure.

Not to mention, obviously Hell's USPS is unionized and only has the front desk open 4 hours each eternity.
Frankly, this "horror game" should be used as a training video and would greatly improve most office efficiency.

@@av3ngers17 I was planning for my retirement. You see, in some jobs you have to request time off months in advance. Back in the day at UPS you had to mark your week off, for the coming year, within the first 2 weeks of January (by seniority, longest employed got to pick first, etc.)
In hell, you have to request your 5 minute vacation at least 6 years before you begin your employment as a slave. Of course, I filled out my application for part time employment as a spork duller 15 years ago, so I qualify for partial apprenticeship in the politician department where we get to use those dull sporks on political "residents" between waterboarding and pineapple treatments, sometimes referred to as "vaccinations" by some since its sometimes treats symptoms of "being an asshole" by plugging said orriface, and reminding those former politicians that just because they had that hole didn't mean they had to become that hole.
So... I guess that means I was just visiting, on Buisness.
I love how, while usually you stick to only voiceacting the games you play, peppered with meme quips of yours, and a bit of on-point objectives and progression recaps, the one time you do go on a full tangent…
