The point that Baskhar would loose it but turns out to be a winner is revealed in the title itself. I felt it was gripping enough for me as I was immersed in the story and forgot the rest. I disagree with you on heroine's performance. That is a far good role and a far good performance considering what we have been seeing. If not for Sai Pallavi in Amaran..not comparing...Meenakshi would have been the best of this year.
