When the US built the Panama canal the US sign a contract to have control for 100 years. It was built in 1914. Which means in 2014 Panama gets total control over the canal.
      Please learn how history happened.

       The agreement was
breached we built it the canal.
      We handle Panamas security
we can extend control over it
that would be a simple renegotiation this sort of thing happens all the time in politics. America holds all the cards so I don't think Panama is in a position to complain. Carter gave it away and that was no where near
any 100 year deadline. So either way
they are in breach of contract.

And I'm not trying to be a wiseass I'm being serious. If france had not given us an open checkbook and half of our naval ships during the revolutionary war, plus the sailors to man the ships, plus most of our guns and ammunition we would not even be here. Caribbean and West Indian labourers built the canal, and it was they who overwhelmingly died. Out of the estimated 27,600 people who died during its construction under both it's French and American overseers, the number of actual Americans who died was around 70-100, and from diseases not accidents.
America paid for it's completion, but they didn't actually build it or sacrifice much for it at all.

Please get it right here, Trump knows what he was talking about. As for Greenland, again is for the security of America and the world, so Denmark has to sell it to US.
