Impressive results. I wasn’t aware of the circle finder tool. Will be really handy for someone that doesn’t have a camera on their laser for alignment.
Question Patrick. What if before washing the "washable paint" you were to clean and pray paint on black the engraved paint .. let dry THEN wash. would the font become black?
o wow cool patrick I am very happy with my laser matic 10/30. and I will follow you with the laser I hope that more will follow from the laser matic 10/30 or 10/20 that is a great machine I am happy that I I bought it thanks to julie patrick.rich.and steve video.and thank you very much
Patrick, I noticed you are engraving on the same side as the paint with the design reversed. I have seen other people paint the other side and engrave from the non-painted side throughto the painted side so that the laser can transfer the energy to the paint and mark the surface. Have you tried it like that or was the glass you had made in a way since it was frosted it reall didn't matter? I have marked clear glass 8x10 glass for pictures by painting the opposite side and got decent results. Just curiuos about your experiences. Keep maing good content!
those trivets are textured on the top side, so i elected to have the engraving on the back in reverse. When doing plates n such, i like to engrave the backside so the front is smooth, whether with a diode or fiber with paint, or a uv right on the glass.
I order the brilliance black metal laser spray in 12oz to do some glass but it sprays out white should i have ordered the Black Aluminum Laser Marking Spray???

Good video. Why didn't you just use the LaserMatic camera to center the artwork on the trivet?
i certainly could have, i wanted to show how i would do it if i didnt have a camera

Did you have to mix the tempura paint with anything to spray? I like the portable sprayer.
i think it with water, usually 2 parts paint to 1 part water

the white is fine and will work as intended.
For those of us who do not have the 30 watt (Yet! ), but only the lasermatic 10.
What would the settings be?
keep power up and slow it down to about 5000
Fun video.
