Same with xiangling. Kinda makes me regret getting him a bit, even though he's cool and strong. I don't regret pulling him due to his personality, but since I can't really build him without gorou, he's just abandoned.
That is actually insane unless u were winning all ur 50/50s and getting early ittos. That’s like 450 or 45 four stars without getting 1 of the featured units.

Something that isn't noted enough about albedo in full geo teams is his usefulness not only as a sub dps but also as a decent battery. He doesn't provide enough to be a full geo battery on his own but he does enough to lower the ER needs of itto in a full geo team by a bit. Since most of the particles albedo generates will be collected by whoever takes up the most on time on field my itto has no ER problems with 110 ER
@@erinknightingale251 Itto causes shatter though, and when he uses his burst, Chongyun's cryo infusion becomes useless. So he'll end up using Xingqiu to proc crystallize on his burst window.
I got ridiculously lucky on Itto's first banner and got him at C4 which was perfect because I was already sold before his official model was released. He was the second of two characters who I triple crowned without hesitation or regrets (Childe being the other). I usually just run him with Gorou in a triple geo + flex (usually Bennett or Geo MC for mono geo) and he makes clearing the spiral abyss so quick and simple. Lately though I've been testing him out with two variations of geo taser comps with surprisingly relatively good success. 1. (Itto, Ayato, Beidou, Fischl) with Itto on Archaic Petra as a driver and buffer which just has some energy issues 2. (Itto, Gorou, Ayato, Beidou) with Itto on a typical Husk set and Gorou on an EM Archaic Petra set as a Geo and Electro/Hydro Buffer and Shielder/Healer They're honestly pretty fun and I really like Itto and Gorou but I also really like taser comps and it's actually surprisngly pretty good (enough to clear the spiral abyss) so it's kinda perfect for me lol
Got him first time. Planned for it, so picked up Albedo and Zhongli around that time too. Long live Geo Supremacy TM. They are an awesome team and are always on one side of the abyss. I run him C0 with Whiteblind and Husk set. Never have any energy recharge issues, as the whole team batteries itself 🤣 I LOVE not worrying about reactions or rotations. I set up my team, unleash Itto until his burst ends, then rinse and repeat. I've heard others say he is boring, but I love it. May one day go for his weapon, but that banner has never been kind to me, so I'm not stressed about it. Good luck to any wanters this time around 🤞🏻
One of the best healers for Itto’s teams is Shinobu. She can provide constant off-field Electro application around the character for Gorou to work as the shielder of the team. She provides healing to the active characters and can easily produce some energy particles for the team with Favonius. She can also use ToTM to give an ATK% bonus. She is the best healer for Itto’s team if someone have to use Gorou as the shielder, because they don’t have Zhongli or they have to use him on an other team.
Ive mained c1 itto with c4 gorou since his first banner. I’ve experimented a lot on gorou with different sets and I’ve settled on a healer build which surprised a lot of people in coop cause he heals so well. The trick to healer gorou is not 2 piece healing sets, he needs 4 piece husk with def% sands + def% goblet + healing bonus circlet. The healing circlet with full stacks on husk makes his heals really strong compared to 2 piece sets. It is Expensive to build tho cause you need a balanced cr/cd for favonious to work on him. I’ve played him as healer in coop with xiao, hutao and have no problems healing them to full health in each burst rotation. This is all just based on my experience and opinions just thought I’d share 😊
can i ask how much def you have and how much he heals? i've been running def/def/def but 2pc husk and 2pc maiden, 2253 def and can heal for 1385ish hp each tick. i'm wondering if 4pc husk can give him enough def without a def circlet? im really curious to try it though! thank you for your comment
nvm i just tried it with the artifacts i have (not optimal) and even tough i have a bit less than 2000 def he could heal for 1800 hp at full stacks so already a big improvement! thank you so much for opening my eyes ahah i'm gonna work on his new build now!
I would love to have me an Itto for the simple satisfaction of smacking enemies with his big stick without a care in the world. Also the E skill is fun xP
I personally use geo traveler in mono geo instead of Albedo. What's great is that geo traveler can be used with either low or high investment. Imo he's a really good support option.
I have him on my second account (I don't use it anymore) and he was really fun, so I'm planning on getting him for my main. My only complain with him is, as a mobile player, that a lot of the time ushi misses the enemy because the game mistakes the press and hold cast. So if I just press it will enter hold mode and throw in front of the camera, which is not always in front of the character. But I just need to get used to holding the button instead, so it's ok. Hope to get at least one miss Hina with him, and one kuki ! I wish good luck to every one pulling !
I love ittos playstyle and character alot, he reminds me of a goofier gintama, willing to help ppl with his gang and does odd jobs. I use him with gorou,zl and Mona with exile + prototype amber , might change it to maidens - her e gives some particles, her ult gives extra damage. Bennett is needed with raiden international, hoping kuki can be a support for him.
As an old Itto haver, i am counting on my luck for his signature weapon this time. And this level of risk I'm taking as a F2P just because i love this guy and his gameplay. ❤️😭
As someone who has it I wish u all the luck! It’s a really soild weapon tho over all and the high crit dmg and the passive still works with other characters as well ( granted not as good as itto ) but it is really not a bad choice to make going for it.
One fun thing I've been doing is for hyper carry Itto. Zhongli for shields, Gorou for his buff and..... Yun Jin. If there is one thing annoying about Itto, it's waiting for his burst and his stacks to recover. Your damage is so bad at that time. Putting in Yun Jin means his normals are greatly boosted and you get more consistent damage from him. But it's also a second character (after Gorou) you can put a Favonius weapon on, allowing you to channel mad energy into him and get him bursting again even faster. Not as relevant in Abyss where energy is more manageable, but handy in a lot of other situations.
Yunjin is a wasted slot, she boosts normal attk yes but itto aint about NA, use bennet or mona instead or if ur usin them on other teama, geo traveler is faaaar better than yunjin, geo traveler can battery itto as well as buff crit rate for the team and also geo traveler deals a decent amount of damage, another good partner will be ningguang either as burst support or as a ttds holder

Yeah, I confirm that having Itto without Gorou is sad: during their banner I got several Barbara and Xiangling (enough for the second to be "c9"...) and not a single copy of the doggo... So I was happy to learn that Gorou is also on the rerun banner, problem: I've been waiting for Kazuha's since I started playing Genshin, summoning only to get Gorou is therefore dangerous for my f2p ass . All this being said, I was lucky enough to finally be able to obtain a copy of the doggo yesterday via the permanent banner and this without being 4* guaranteed. Tbh the temptation to get more constellations to strengthen my Geo Team is there but hey, I can now skip the rerun of the oni and the doggie without regrets.
If you give in to temptation, just watch your pity and go nuts, it should be relatively safe to go up to 30 since a 5 star this early is basically free (Just don't get distracted like I did pulling for Noelle and reach pity 70 before realizing, it's risky). The 0.6% chance is too low to be afraid of. But if you're at guaranteed 5 star, don't ever do it.
@@ch1dd My pity is 30 and I have almost enough to reach soft pity. On the other hand I am in 50-50 (I used my guarantee on Ayato because even if its chara design disappointed me I like its animations and its gameplay). So yeah, it's tempting to try to get 1 or 2 constellations for Gorou but I'm also interested in Heizou's gameplay so I don't know. I'm thinking of doing a multi or two to see if I get copies of Gorou and/or Shinobu. The rest will be for Kazuha's banner.
@@Gonzora The way I would do it is doing single pulls until you get 4 stars, that way you spend the minimum amount necessary and you can decide if it's worth it trying more. Since you're already at 30 pity I think you need to be a bit careful like that, so if you do single pulls until you get 2 4 star items it'll be safer and cheaper imo. But of course, being on 50-50 means you can do whatever you want until soft pity and it will be mostly ok, so trust your gut feeling when pulling about where you should stop if they don't come right away. I'm super excited to pull for him he's my favorite character by far and why i started playing during shenhe banner! I plan to run him with gorou, bennett and zhongli. I've saved enough to tripple crown and fully raise his weapon plus get gorou pretty raised as well and I got favonius weapons for gorou and zhongli while bennett kinda just owns my copy of aquila favonia. Thanks for the updated guide the old one definitely helped me farm! best of luck to everyone pulling for itto and kuki! oh also chongyun is like my only built cryo character so its nice hes on the banner too, i think he is c2 or c3 right now.
@@pginaeemidris2069 Ahh they went amazing! had about 330 wishes saved with 80 left over and guaranteed for next 5 star. 60 pitty lost 50/50 to keqing, 60 pitty got guaranteed itto, then the next 10 pull got itto again with diluc, then 80 pitty won 50/50 again and got itto! I wanted c6 gorou so i kept pulling and got him while losing the last 50/50 to diluc (but it cool he's built). then pulled weapon banner for the first time ever and got redhorn first try in 40 pulls! It was awesome and i had a lot of fun ended with c2 itto, c6 gorou, c2 diluc and c6 kuki although i don't think i will be building her. edit: totally forgot about chongyun but i got so many it started to get annoying, but he's c6 now so thats cool!

Thank you for the detailed information. To answer your end video question "I am a new Itto player". I luckily have Gorou I'm just missing Zhongli. I have Traveler level 90 and the default starters including Barbara level 80. The game has only blessed me with six 5 star characters. Being Aloy, Keqing, Itto, Xianyun, Yae Miko, and Mona. I played all the way up to Chasm Archon quest with no Claymore except Noelle but I ignored her and left her level 54 as hero wit is hard to get. Thank you for the detailed video I will be sure to check out other content you produce.

Also, I'm not 100% sure of the answer so I'll ask : Should I R5 my White blind OR should I work on getting more refinement for my Serpent spine (it's currently R2 - R3 soon if it's better) ? Which one would be better - cause I always have the battle pass. :) Thank you so much
If you are regularly on the battlepass, definitely regularly get Serpent Spine refinements. Serpent Spine R5 can compete with R1 5-star claymores in certain scenarios. :)
I like how you explained Itto's stacking mechanic in detail. But I wanna add something which is uhhh I don't think you should recommend any other sets at all besides 4pc Husk seeing how good it is for Itto (late game)
if you farm for archaic petra for ur other geo chara u will also get retracing bolide, if you dont have kokomi or qiqi the husk domain is really depressing
i agree that husk is just so good for him (a lot of def% and almost double geo dmg bonus than petra) but the other sets were just stated to lay all the cards on the table. (also considering it might take a while for new players to reach the husk domain)
@@lxncexzs At this point, if you've invested on Itto already, you should've unlocked Inazuma by now, considering that his ascension mats are located there.
Two Itto comps I use often for basic open world and domains is Ning/Itto/Healer/Zhongli and Itto/Xianling/Bennet/Zhongli. The latter one is very flexible because you can use Ning for range and solid DPS, then Itto when it's time to really drop the hammer, and Ning can reliably battery and fill in while he's charging up. The latter team I mainly use on the Blizzard Strayer Domain, since the pyros can drop everyone's shields faster, then Itto does the actual damage.
I already have him but im wishing for them gorou cons and mainly kuki. Will definitely hit 50 50 on him (that or kazuha cuz heizou) so i am sort of excite to be a potential c1 user for the unlibonks
I dunno why but, my main DPS is always someone with Berserker Mode or Self buff Q, like Razor 1.0-1.3, Xiao 1.3-2.3, and Itto 2.3-Now. I just enjoy this kind of gameplay, like "i need more power" vibes LMAO
You gave a good team up for my Itto and since I finally got Ningguang to level 60(thank you ability to reset the world level), I am planning on using a team of Itto, Gorou, Ningguang and Diona. I'll practice with that team to see how it will work but overall a pretty soild updated guide for Itto, Sevy! Still half feel bad for Gorou because of the Mrs. Hina but half really would want Mrs. Hina to be an actual thing and my friend who has not played Genshin in months, said this about Ushi: Who the f**k is that pokemon ass thing!? Yeah but anyways, soild video as always!
My recommendation for team is what I have found to be highest damage dealing team comp for me: Itto Gorou with 4pc Exile and Fav Bow Zhongli with 4pc Tenacity Mona with TTDS and 4pc Noblesse As an elemental teammate, Mona can help deal with elemental shields (non-hydro). With her burst Omen buff, she further amplifies Itto’s damage on top of the artifacts and weapons that she uses. From hours of testing, this team comp has consistently beaten a team with C5 Bennett (Skyward Blade and Noblesse). Make sure to build Mona with ER% though, as she will need it to get good uptime on her burst.
The ending having his beatboxing was nice because my birthday was yesterday lol. My Itto's c0 double crowned (Ushi is next on my list, Beefcake deserves it) with skyward pride (blessing in disguise because only one artifact rolled on ER) and I tend to run him in mono geo husbandos (the geo boyband) of Zhongli, Albedo, and c4 Gorou. It honestly surprises me how much range Itto has (literally and figuratively since his charged hits have verticality). You can run him on all kinds of enemies since he's geo and claymore and and he'll power through by brute force. I rarely get 36 stars but this update I managed thanks to putting Itto on the first half. This rerun I'm going to be a clown and do 4 or 5 10-pulls to see if I can get the 2 Gorous I need and/or one copy of Shinobu. If I happen to get a random 5* in the process, I'm not gonna get mad because his c1 looks like good QoL, and if I lose the 50/50 I have a Yoimiya or Sumeru character guaranteed
Itto main here. The 4th slot non geo team member could be: none other than Kuki Shinobu! Give her 4 set Tenacity of Milelith and you got yourself a healing and slight damage buff and shield breaking capability that geo character lacks
I want to make a triple threat team with Itto-Noelle-Raiden. That way I take all the damage I want as Itto, my healing phase is just more dps with Noelle, and my recharge phase is just more damage with Raiden. I then rely on Raiden E and Gorou's crystallize pull for geo resonance. The problem with the idea is most of the content in the game will be dead before the team comes full circle.
But your dmg output will be low. I know you hv dps and one sib dps still bcz noelle heal is on field attack the more you attack the more she heal the team mate .in this way your team rotaion gets slow .so it take more time to clear the floor in abyss.I know you have raiden but not s type itoo team
@@Pradeep_Singh_33 I think when they're completely built this team has enough damage to go through, but this will take c6 noelle and c6 gorou to be completed so it's a future plan. I'm on 50-50 for Itto and I only got 10 pulls of primos, so I may even have to wait until the next rerun, I got plenty of time to make it work.
@@Pradeep_Singh_33 c6 is for maximum potential, which is pretty high for the 4 stars (noelle getting more defense to attack conversion and gorou increasing geo crit dmg by 40%). The team works on it's own by default just from compensating each other's weaknesses, and it's actually pretty low investiment all things considered since Gorou doesn't need investment, Raiden can use the catch and Itto and Noelle can use whiteblind. The only sad part is getting 4-piece artifact sets because artifact domains are shit.
@@ch1dd believe me im farming from itto 1st released and hu tao 2nd banner released still not best artifact i have for them. And if you get good artifact with good substat then upgrading those artifact give shittty result .
I can't wait to find out how well Kuki Shinobu synergizes with Itto. From the info that Hoyo has released so far, we know that Shinobu's E pulses both healing and Electro DMG so we may have a very melee-compatible Crystalize-enabler + Tenacity bot for that sweet shield strength!
She actually exceeded them by a good bit, her E has a much shorter downtime than I was expecting and it even heals other players in co-op with its pulses!
@@AsterTopaz Oh wow, I didn't know her ticks heal others as well! That was an issue with using Barbara in Co-op, since her skill ticks would only heal herself. I havent pulled Kuki yet but hoping to snag her before the banner ends! What build and weapon are you using on her?
I'm using Lion's Roar with 4-piece Gladiator's for now; ER% sands, Atk% goblet, and a Crit circlet with a good chunk of HP% from substats. Artifact rolls are always the hard part, but that setup should be able to achieve 30k+ HP, 70/140 Crit rate/DMG and somewhere close to 2,000 Atk power. Damage multipliers from the sword and the artifact set bonus are the reason I go with an Atk% goblet instead of one that adds a DMG% bonus. I want to try replacing Glad with 4-piece Thundersoother so that all of Shinobu's attacks hit harder, but that does mean I would need to manage elemental reactions with care.
@@AsterTopaz I'm confused by the 4p Glad since it only boosts normal attack damage. Are you using her as an on field Normal Attack DPS? If so who do you pair her with? It would seem that 4p Tenacity would be good for giving the party +20% ATK while boosting her healing and shield strength. Thunder soother would be an interesting choice but would be a very resin expensive domain to farm unless you also needed a Thundering Fury set. Does she deal enough damage to make it worth it? It seemed like her niche was just Healing and applying electro for Tenacity and Reactions.

About Itto’s C6. If C1 Itto can just start with 8 Kesagiri Slashes, Itto C6 on average will start with 15-16 Kesagiri Slashes, but most likely more because he’ll surely get the additional stack from Ushi’s disappearance, and Ushi could be hit while on the field. The chances of doing only 2 or 3 more Kesagiri Slashes with C6 are very very low, it almost never happens. Most times Itto C6 just spams Kesagiri Slashes. Itto C6, because of the low cooldown on Burst, thanks to C2, is also able to rotate faster. When he stops doing Kesagiri Slashes, he leaves the field for Gorou’s E and use his Burst again without waiting for Gorou’s Q.
@@diceki9334 The average increase in Kesagiri Slashes I stated being given by C6 (from 8 to 15-16) is the average for 50% chance. Every additional Kesagiri Slash he gets from C6 has 50% chance of not consuming the stack too.
You are my favorite creator! I saved all my wishes and got C6 Ushi by accident trying for C6 Kuki. Only made it to C5 on Kuki LOL. I’ve had C1 Itto from last time. I love his personality so much. “More toys for the boys!” 😂 Alright!
I always use Venti for the fourth member, Venti's E and Q, gorou's banner, nuke zhongli, Venti's E, hit twice with gorou for particles then burst, then go brrr with Itto
Old itto haver here, love this duffus. When I first pulled him... I pulled him TWICE in the same 10pull so I got him at c1 lol, and recently when he had his rerun, I pulled two more of him so I got em c3 already also managed to C6 gorou from this rerun.... (was pulling for Shinobu, never got her 😭) I don't care about elemental multipliers, itto team is the only thing you need in this game, I run itto, Bennet, gorou, and zongli and it's so damn easy and perfect, the team perfectly rotates to always have everyone's burst up after using itto's fully (if you got enough enemies to last itto's charged ult combo) gahhhh fuck I love this dude. Ngl tho the game seems a lot less worth playing now that I got the best team
Seeing the redhorns def to damage conversion on normal and charged attacks just made think of how BAD everlasting moonglow is. 1% max HP and this has 40% def scale... come on hoyo
Defense is a number often more than 10 times lower than hp in a character that builds it, and HP scaling characters get even more max hp, so it's not as low as you're making it sound with the comparison. Still, hoyo's balance is very bad from stats to rewards, I agree it's too low, it should be a minimum of 5%.
@@ch1dd 5% would be insanely busted once you started putting refinements on and turn Kokomi into the best DPS in the game. A 2000% damage boost to normal attacks is a little crazy. Edit: Completely inaccurate, see below.
@@tinkerer3399 it's 5% of hp as attack damage, not 5% of hp as % damage. Meaning your attack will go up by 2500, on a character that is building HP so they mostly only have their base level attack to begin with. For a max refinement 5 star weapon I think that is a plausible return for your investment on the item, instead of going from 1% to 3%.
@@ch1dd Yeah, sorry I knew that but my internal wires got crossed haha. So it would be roughly an additional 5000 damage per attack for an R5 Moonglow or an additional 1500 damage per attack for an R1. Yeah, that's a lot more sane lol.
The comp i was thinking of was itto dps, gorou for buff, yun jin as battery and noelle for shield and healing. The only remaining geo characters i own are ninguang and traveler, no zhongli here.
No, Shimenawa costs too much energy and removes the ability to do his signature Burst. It’s not worth it and it’s better to give him the husk set since both the 2pc and 4pc of Shimenawa does not help him at all. If you wanna run budget just run 2 Pc Petra and 2pc Husk.
Not really o.o if you don't burst it doesn't matter if you have a normal/charge damage bonus. Besides if you have a yoimiya set you probably have an atk % sands. Basically shimenawa has too many problems and husk gives him too many stats
Husk is a good enough set for Itto and Noelle that I think there is an excellent chance that it will not be surpassed before the end of the game in several years. It is well worth investing resin in a proper set.

He doesn't provide enough to be a full geo battery on his own but he does enough to lower the ER needs of itto in a full geo team by a bit. Since most of the particles albedo generates will be collected by whoever takes up the most on time on field my itto has no ER problems with 110 ER
he even works as a good battery with my xiao, there are white energy particles (with an occasional golden) flying everywhere.

@@erinknightingale251 Itto causes shatter though, and when he uses his burst, Chongyun's cryo infusion becomes useless. So he'll end up using Xingqiu to proc crystallize on his burst window.
I got ridiculously lucky on Itto's first banner and got him at C4 which was perfect because I was already sold before his official model was released. He was the second of two characters who I triple crowned without hesitation or regrets (Childe being the other). I usually just run him with Gorou in a triple geo + flex (usually Bennett or Geo MC for mono geo) and he makes clearing the spiral abyss so quick and simple. Lately though I've been testing him out with two variations of geo taser comps with surprisingly relatively good success.
1. (Itto, Ayato, Beidou, Fischl) with Itto on Archaic Petra as a driver and buffer which just has some energy issues
2. (Itto, Gorou, Ayato, Beidou) with Itto on a typical Husk set and Gorou on an EM Archaic Petra set as a Geo and Electro/Hydro Buffer and Shielder/Healer
They're honestly pretty fun and I really like Itto and Gorou but I also really like taser comps and it's actually surprisngly pretty good (enough to clear the spiral abyss) so it's kinda perfect for me lol

Got him first time. Planned for it, so picked up Albedo and Zhongli around that time too. Long live Geo Supremacy TM. They are an awesome team and are always on one side of the abyss. I run him C0 with Whiteblind and Husk set. Never have any energy recharge issues, as the whole team batteries itself 🤣 I LOVE not worrying about reactions or rotations. I set up my team, unleash Itto until his burst ends, then rinse and repeat. I've heard others say he is boring, but I love it. May one day go for his weapon, but that banner has never been kind to me, so I'm not stressed about it. Good luck to any wanters this time around 🤞🏻

One of the best healers for Itto’s teams is Shinobu. She can provide constant off-field Electro application around the character for Gorou to work as the shielder of the team. She provides healing to the active characters and can easily produce some energy particles for the team with Favonius. She can also use ToTM to give an ATK% bonus.
She is the best healer for Itto’s team if someone have to use Gorou as the shielder, because they don’t have Zhongli or they have to use him on an other team.
Ive mained c1 itto with c4 gorou since his first banner. I’ve experimented a lot on gorou with different sets and I’ve settled on a healer build which surprised a lot of people in coop cause he heals so well. The trick to healer gorou is not 2 piece healing sets, he needs 4 piece husk with def% sands + def% goblet + healing bonus circlet. The healing circlet with full stacks on husk makes his heals really strong compared to 2 piece sets. It is Expensive to build tho cause you need a balanced cr/cd for favonious to work on him. I’ve played him as healer in coop with xiao, hutao and have no problems healing them to full health in each burst rotation. This is all just based on my experience and opinions just thought I’d share 😊
can i ask how much def you have and how much he heals? i've been running def/def/def but 2pc husk and 2pc maiden, 2253 def and can heal for 1385ish hp each tick. i'm wondering if 4pc husk can give him enough def without a def circlet? im really curious to try it though! thank you for your comment
nvm i just tried it with the artifacts i have (not optimal) and even tough i have a bit less than 2000 def he could heal for 1800 hp at full stacks so already a big improvement! thank you so much for opening my eyes ahah i'm gonna work on his new build now!

I personally use geo traveler in mono geo instead of Albedo. What's great is that geo traveler can be used with either low or high investment. Imo he's a really good support option.
If it werent for the excessive amount of clutter on the field then I mightve went with that too.

I have him on my second account (I don't use it anymore) and he was really fun, so I'm planning on getting him for my main.
My only complain with him is, as a mobile player, that a lot of the time ushi misses the enemy because the game mistakes the press and hold cast. So if I just press it will enter hold mode and throw in front of the camera, which is not always in front of the character. But I just need to get used to holding the button instead, so it's ok.

I love ittos playstyle and character alot, he reminds me of a goofier gintama, willing to help ppl with his gang and does odd jobs. I use him with gorou,zl and Mona with exile + prototype amber , might change it to maidens - her e gives some particles, her ult gives extra damage. Bennett is needed with raiden international, hoping kuki can be a support for him.

As someone who has it I wish u all the luck! It’s a really soild weapon tho over all and the high crit dmg and the passive still works with other characters as well ( granted not as good as itto ) but it is really not a bad choice to make going for it.
One fun thing I've been doing is for hyper carry Itto. Zhongli for shields, Gorou for his buff and..... Yun Jin. If there is one thing annoying about Itto, it's waiting for his burst and his stacks to recover. Your damage is so bad at that time. Putting in Yun Jin means his normals are greatly boosted and you get more consistent damage from him. But it's also a second character (after Gorou) you can put a Favonius weapon on, allowing you to channel mad energy into him and get him bursting again even faster. Not as relevant in Abyss where energy is more manageable, but handy in a lot of other situations.
Yunjin is a wasted slot, she boosts normal attk yes but itto aint about NA, use bennet or mona instead or if ur usin them on other teama, geo traveler is faaaar better than yunjin, geo traveler can battery itto as well as buff crit rate for the team and also geo traveler deals a decent amount of damage, another good partner will be ningguang either as burst support or as a ttds holder

Yeah, I confirm that having Itto without Gorou is sad: during their banner I got several Barbara and Xiangling (enough for the second to be "c9"...) and not a single copy of the doggo... So I was happy to learn that Gorou is also on the rerun banner, problem: I've been waiting for Kazuha's since I started playing Genshin, summoning only to get Gorou is therefore dangerous for my f2p ass .
All this being said, I was lucky enough to finally be able to obtain a copy of the doggo yesterday via the permanent banner and this without being 4* guaranteed.
Tbh the temptation to get more constellations to strengthen my Geo Team is there but hey, I can now skip the rerun of the oni and the doggie without regrets.
If you give in to temptation, just watch your pity and go nuts, it should be relatively safe to go up to 30 since a 5 star this early is basically free (Just don't get distracted like I did pulling for Noelle and reach pity 70 before realizing, it's risky). The 0.6% chance is too low to be afraid of. But if you're at guaranteed 5 star, don't ever do it.

@@ch1dd My pity is 30 and I have almost enough to reach soft pity. On the other hand I am in 50-50 (I used my guarantee on Ayato because even if its chara design disappointed me I like its animations and its gameplay).
So yeah, it's tempting to try to get 1 or 2 constellations for Gorou but I'm also interested in Heizou's gameplay so I don't know.
I'm thinking of doing a multi or two to see if I get copies of Gorou and/or Shinobu. The rest will be for Kazuha's banner.
@@Gonzora The way I would do it is doing single pulls until you get 4 stars, that way you spend the minimum amount necessary and you can decide if it's worth it trying more. Since you're already at 30 pity I think you need to be a bit careful like that, so if you do single pulls until you get 2 4 star items it'll be safer and cheaper imo.
But of course, being on 50-50 means you can do whatever you want until soft pity and it will be mostly ok, so trust your gut feeling when pulling about where you should stop if they don't come right away. Best of luck.

I'm super excited to pull for him he's my favorite character by far and why i started playing during shenhe banner! I plan to run him with gorou, bennett and zhongli. I've saved enough to tripple crown and fully raise his weapon plus get gorou pretty raised as well and I got favonius weapons for gorou and zhongli while bennett kinda just owns my copy of aquila favonia. 60 pitty lost 50/50 to keqing, 60 pitty got guaranteed itto, then the next 10 pull got itto again with diluc, then 80 pitty won 50/50 again and got itto! I wanted c6 gorou so i kept pulling and got him while losing the last 50/50 to diluc (but it cool he's built).
then pulled weapon banner for the first time ever and got redhorn first try in 40 pulls! It was awesome and i had a lot of fun
ended with c2 itto, c6 gorou, c2 diluc and c6 kuki although i don't think i will be building her.
edit: totally forgot about chongyun but i got so many it started to get annoying, but he's c6 now so thats cool!
I don't have him yet but I like his gameplay & personality when I played his story quest

I have Traveler level 90 and the default starters including Barbara level 80. The game has only blessed me with six 5 star characters. Being Aloy, Keqing, Itto, Xianyun, Yae Miko, and Mona. I played all the way up to Chasm Archon quest with no Claymore except Noelle but I ignored her and left her level 54 as hero wit is hard to get. Thank you for the detailed video I will be sure to check out other content you produce.

If you are regularly on the battlepass, definitely regularly get Serpent Spine refinements. Serpent Spine R5 can compete with R1 5-star claymores in certain scenarios. :)

I like how you explained Itto's stacking mechanic in detail. But I wanna add something which is uhhh I don't think you should recommend any other sets at all besides 4pc Husk seeing how good it is for Itto (late game)
if you farm for archaic petra for ur other geo chara u will also get retracing bolide, if you dont have kokomi or qiqi the husk domain is really depressing

i agree that husk is just so good for him (a lot of def% and almost double geo dmg bonus than petra) but the other sets were just stated to lay all the cards on the table. (also considering it might take a while for new players to reach the husk domain)

Two Itto comps I use often for basic open world and domains is Ning/Itto/Healer/Zhongli and Itto/Xianling/Bennet/Zhongli. The latter one is very flexible because you can use Ning for range and solid DPS, then Itto when it's time to really drop the hammer, and Ning can reliably battery and fill in while he's charging up. The latter team I mainly use on the Blizzard Strayer Domain, since the pyros can drop everyone's shields faster, then Itto does the actual damage.
I already have him but im wishing for them gorou cons and mainly kuki. Will definitely hit 50 50 on him (that or kazuha cuz heizou) so i am sort of excite to be a potential c1 user for the unlibonks

I dunno why but, my main DPS is always someone with Berserker Mode or Self buff Q, like Razor 1.0-1.3, Xiao 1.3-2.3, and Itto 2.3-Now.

This Itto guide may work for the early build of Navia as well, She's a Geo and DEF scaling unit that's rumored to be a buffer.

You gave a good team up for my Itto and since I finally got Ningguang to level 60(thank you ability to reset the world level), I am planning on using a team of Itto, Gorou, Ningguang and Diona. I'll practice with that team to see how it will work but overall a pretty soild updated guide for Itto, Sevy! Still half feel bad for Gorou because of the Mrs. Hina but half really would want Mrs. Hina to be an actual thing and my friend who has not played Genshin in months, said this about Ushi:

My recommendation for team is what I have found to be highest damage dealing team comp for me:
Itto
Gorou with 4pc Exile and Fav Bow
Zhongli with 4pc Tenacity
Mona with TTDS and 4pc Noblesse
As an elemental teammate, Mona can help deal with elemental shields (non-hydro). With her burst Omen buff, she further amplifies Itto’s damage on top of the artifacts and weapons that she uses. From hours of testing, this team comp has consistently beaten a team with C5 Bennett (Skyward Blade and Noblesse). Make sure to build Mona with ER% though, as she will need it to get good uptime on her burst.
The ending having his beatboxing was nice because my birthday was yesterday lol. My Itto's c0 double crowned (Ushi is next on my list, Beefcake deserves it) with skyward pride (blessing in disguise because only one artifact rolled on ER) and I tend to run him in mono geo husbandos (the geo boyband) of Zhongli, Albedo, and c4 Gorou. It honestly surprises me how much range Itto has (literally and figuratively since his charged hits have verticality). You can run him on all kinds of enemies since he's geo and claymore and and he'll power through by brute force. I rarely get 36 stars but this update I managed thanks to putting Itto on the first half. This rerun I'm going to be a clown and do 4 or 5 10-pulls to see if I can get the 2 Gorous I need and/or one copy of Shinobu. If I happen to get a random 5* in the process, I'm not gonna get mad because his c1 looks like good QoL, and if I lose the 50/50 I have a Yoimiya or Sumeru character guaranteed

Itto main here. The 4th slot non geo team member could be: none other than Kuki Shinobu! Give her 4 set Tenacity of Milelith and you got yourself a healing and slight damage buff and shield breaking capability that geo character lacks

I want to make a triple threat team with Itto-Noelle-Raiden. That way I take all the damage I want as Itto, my healing phase is just more dps with Noelle, and my recharge phase is just more damage with Raiden. I then rely on Raiden E and Gorou's crystallize pull for geo resonance. The problem with the idea is most of the content in the game will be dead before the team comes full circle.
But your dmg output will be low. I know you hv dps and one sib dps still bcz noelle heal is on field attack the more you attack the more she heal the team mate .in this way your team rotaion gets slow .so it take more time to clear the floor in abyss.I know you have raiden but not s type itoo team
@@Pradeep_Singh_33 I think when they're completely built this team has enough damage to go through, but this will take c6 noelle and c6 gorou to be completed so it's a future plan. I'm on 50-50 for Itto and I only got 10 pulls of primos, so I may even have to wait until the next rerun, I got plenty of time to make it work.

@@Pradeep_Singh_33 c6 is for maximum potential, which is pretty high for the 4 stars (noelle getting more defense to attack conversion and gorou increasing geo crit dmg by 40%). The team works on it's own by default just from compensating each other's weaknesses, and it's actually pretty low investiment all things considered since Gorou doesn't need investment, Raiden can use the catch and Itto and Noelle can use whiteblind. The only sad part is getting 4-piece artifact sets because artifact domains are shit.
@@ch1dd believe me im farming from itto 1st released and hu tao 2nd banner released still not best artifact i have for them. And if you get good artifact with good substat then upgrading those artifact give shittty result .
I can't wait to find out how well Kuki Shinobu synergizes with Itto. From the info that Hoyo has released so far, we know that Shinobu's E pulses both healing and Electro DMG so we may have a very melee-compatible Crystalize-enabler + Tenacity bot for that sweet shield strength!
She does exactly what you said! Did Kuki meet your expectations?
She actually exceeded them by a good bit, her E has a much shorter downtime than I was expecting and it even heals other players in co-op with its pulses!

I'm using Lion's Roar with 4-piece Gladiator's for now; ER% sands, Atk% goblet, and a Crit circlet with a good chunk of HP% from substats. Artifact rolls are always the hard part, but that setup should be able to achieve 30k+ HP, 70/140 Crit rate/DMG and somewhere close to 2,000 Atk power.
Damage multipliers from the sword and the artifact set bonus are the reason I go with an Atk% goblet instead of one that adds a DMG% bonus. I want to try replacing Glad with 4-piece Thundersoother so that all of Shinobu's attacks hit harder, but that does mean I would need to manage elemental reactions with care.
@@AsterTopaz I'm confused by the 4p Glad since it only boosts normal attack damage. Are you using her as an on field Normal Attack DPS? If so who do you pair her with?
It would seem that 4p Tenacity would be good for giving the party +20% ATK while boosting her healing and shield strength.
Thunder soother would be an interesting choice but would be a very resin expensive domain to farm unless you also needed a Thundering Fury set. Does she deal enough damage to make it worth it? It seemed like her niche was just Healing and applying electro for Tenacity and Reactions.

About Itto’s C6. If C1 Itto can just start with 8 Kesagiri Slashes, Itto C6 on average will start with 15-16 Kesagiri Slashes, but most likely more because he’ll surely get the additional stack from Ushi’s disappearance, and Ushi could be hit while on the field.
The chances of doing only 2 or 3 more Kesagiri Slashes with C6 are very very low, it almost never happens. Most times Itto C6 just spams Kesagiri Slashes.
Itto C6, because of the low cooldown on Burst, thanks to C2, is also able to rotate faster. When he stops doing Kesagiri Slashes, he leaves the field for Gorou’s E and use his Burst again without waiting for Gorou’s Q.
Just like taking additional woods :D description has it he gets a % chance of getting "additional woods" but actuality you always get bonuses :D
@@diceki9334 The average increase in Kesagiri Slashes I stated being given by C6 (from 8 to 15-16) is the average for 50% chance. Every additional Kesagiri Slash he gets from C6 has 50% chance of not consuming the stack too.

I always use Venti for the fourth member, Venti's E and Q, gorou's banner, nuke zhongli, Venti's E, hit twice with gorou for particles then burst, then go brrr with Itto
Old itto haver here, love this duffus. When I first pulled him... I pulled him TWICE in the same 10pull so I got him at c1 lol, and recently when he had his rerun, I pulled two more of him so I got em c3 already also managed to C6 gorou from this rerun.... (was pulling for Shinobu, never got her 😭)
I don't care about elemental multipliers, itto team is the only thing you need in this game, I run itto, Bennet, gorou, and zongli and it's so damn easy and perfect, the team perfectly rotates to always have everyone's burst up after using itto's fully (if you got enough enemies to last itto's charged ult combo) gahhhh fuck I love this dude. Ngl tho the game seems a lot less worth playing now that I got the best team

Defense is a number often more than 10 times lower than hp in a character that builds it, and HP scaling characters get even more max hp, so it's not as low as you're making it sound with the comparison. Still, hoyo's balance is very bad from stats to rewards, I agree it's too low, it should be a minimum of 5%.
@@ch1dd 5% would be insanely busted once you started putting refinements on and turn Kokomi into the best DPS in the game. A 2000% damage boost to normal attacks is a little crazy.

@@tinkerer3399 it's 5% of hp as attack damage, not 5% of hp as % damage. Meaning your attack will go up by 2500, on a character that is building HP so they mostly only have their base level attack to begin with. For a max refinement 5 star weapon I think that is a plausible return for your investment on the item, instead of going from 1% to 3%.
@@ch1dd Yeah, sorry I knew that but my internal wires got crossed haha. So it would be roughly an additional 5000 damage per attack for an R5 Moonglow or an additional 1500 damage per attack for an R1. Yeah, that's a lot more sane lol.
I got itto and gorou in my first 10 pull. but still didnt have shinobu but thats okay.i am happy on itto, diluc, traveller and mona.
God wanted me to use itto, I got his weapon in 5 pulls on first try and got itto in 6 pulls with 20 pity
The comp i was thinking of was itto dps, gorou for buff, yun jin as battery and noelle for shield and healing. The only remaining geo characters i own are ninguang and traveler, no zhongli here.

No, Shimenawa costs too much energy and removes the ability to do his signature Burst. It’s not worth it and it’s better to give him the husk set since both the 2pc and 4pc of Shimenawa does not help him at all. If you wanna run budget just run 2 Pc Petra and 2pc Husk.
Not really o.o if you don't burst it doesn't matter if you have a normal/charge damage bonus. Besides if you have a yoimiya set you probably have an atk % sands. Basically shimenawa has too many problems and husk gives him too many stats
Pull itto if u already have zhongli and albedo,but if u don't have them,you should pull for yoimiya,she is fun to use
Husk is a good enough set for Itto and Noelle that I think there is an excellent chance that it will not be surpassed before the end of the game in several years. It is well worth investing resin in a proper set.
