Gov. Underwood actually appeared twice before on TTTT: on the pilot episode called "Nothing but the Truth" with Mike Wallace Hosting and Dick Van Dyke, John Cameron Swayze, Polly Bergen, and Hildy Parks on the panel. Then he appeared on the 5th-anniversary show in 1961 with Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson, Betty White and Ralph Bellamy. Of course, Bud Collyer hosting. Both eps are on the To Tell the Truth CBS channel here on YT
@@seanvogt221 concentration retired it around February '91, but the $ale "wooooo" sound effect remained til Scrabble '93, which then CBS used on specialty-taped Wheel & early-ran Match Game '98.

And having twice been on (aired) TTTT, Underwood went on to serve another term as governor after this, and then became the oldest governor of WV too.
And Kitty never appeared on any of the episodes he was on until this one.

Thankfully one of the last shows with the annoying whistling sound effects from 1969.
Actually it was in April 1991 when that particular NBC audience sound effect was retired.
