I must admit that Mark Goodson was one of the greatest TV producers who ever lived. I have always thought The Price Is Right and To Tell The Truth were his best game shows, with an honorable mention for What's My Line.
I was scheduled to be an imposter about 2 weeks after Mr. Goodson saved the day; I had been a champ on Super Password and subsequently did lots of gigs as a developer of sorts. For some reason, he liked me and always called me "Denver Omelette" -a reference to my Password appearance- But being on TTTT (I was imposter for the architect Michael Reynolds) was a complete and total blast. It was a very special era!
Mark Goodson has been backstage at To Tell The Truth since the very beginning in 1956, and it’s kind of scary he says. Sadly…Mark died in 1992 at the age of 77. We all miss him. Kenneth A Huang 9/6/2022.
I guess I'm just old. I remember seeing this episode first run back in the day, Mark did a fine job filling in. I've read that he was quoted as once saying TTTT was the "golden game". I don't think he was far from the truth.
This episode is *nuclear:* 0:06 TTTT legitimising the U.S. Government and the Uniparty misinformation of “Saddam have WMDs” (Not the first time: back in 1964, they legitimised the government sponsored narrative on the Gulf of Tolkien incident, it’s game #3 here: th-cam.com/video/VG5indjcT0k/w-d-xo.html) 27:50 “Next week, equal time for gentile cats…”

Of all the game shows Mark Goodson produced this was his favorite
Can't wait for the second day.
Me too if only Alex could be there
