Absolutely incredible. I can't believe I've got to 45 years old without realising how brilliant this band were when I heard wax and wane the other day on youtube.. Well I was only 7 when they were first on the scene so it passed me by until now. Instantly one of my favourite groups of all time. What a treasure to find now though and hear all their albums for the first time. Their first 2 albums and eps are some of the best indie music ever produced, hands down
I am 44 years old. I heard their great music in high school about 27 years ago... Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to hear it live. But all these years I still listen to them and love them. And so it will always be. Timeless
I forgot that they got their name from a Simple Minds song... another favorite band of mine (in their early days). Cocteau Twins are the most magical band in the world - to this day and beyond. Thank you so much for sharing this priceless recording (this was playing automatically after another CT song and the sudden Dutch voice was a little jarring! Threw me back a couple of decades, when I still lived there).
