That first goal is world class. To get one touch, accurate power like that on a ball coming in from that angle: that doesn't come overnight, it takes years of work to acquire.

Nagbe's always been a good player. It's too bad MLS NEXT and their academies still hadn't gotten off the ground when he was a teenager, I suspect his career would be more illustrious if he had been developed that way. Instead, he represents the final generation of American teenagers that had to waste crucial developmental years playing college ball.

Martinez has been a huge disappointment so far for Miami. Him starting hasn't led to good results. Him coming off the bench gave him fresh legs on a more tired defense and it paid off.

I watched Martinez score a bicycle kick against Revs in October. I’m a revs fan but I gotta give credit to him for that goal. We still won 2-1 that match which was amazing.

My eyes suffered while watching this game. Miami is a terrible team not because they don't have team chemistry, but because the players are terrible on individual terms. Messi alone can not change the fortunes of this team. The best thing is to have at least one decent player in defense, midfield and attack that other players can look up to. There's so much work to be done here.
Tbh they are not that bad. Yes they are last in the table but I think the problem is lack of discipline which I think they can get thru manager
@@Sempapax The problem is that they were missing 6 key starters in this game in defense and midfield. And because they were penalized by MLS for the Matuidi deal, they haven't had the money to bring in a strong bench. So what you saw in this game was Miami playing with half a dozen teenagers from their development team. A couple of those kids could eventually become good players, but right now they are too young and inexperienced.

Tienen dos centrales bastante buenos (para el MLS). Uno es titular de la selección de Ucrania y el otro de la selección de Canada. Más, el volante defensivo que jugo hoy (Arroyo) lo trajeron justamente de la liga ecuatoriana cuando se lesiono el brasileño que normalmente es el titular en ese puesto. El problema que tiene Miami es que no tiene banca. Cuando no están los titulares (hoy faltaron 3 de los 4 defensores titulares y todos los mediocampistas), no tienen otra que poner muchachos de las inferiores. Si no fuera que Josef Martinez y Campana meten de los pocos que les llegan, realmente estarian en una situación imposible.

@@pm1660 Miami tiene uno de los mejores arqueros jovenes de la liga que incluso fue llamado al utlimo campamento de la selección. El problema es que el no puede hacer nada cuando no tiene defensas en frente de el, como ha pasado en estos ultimos juegos cuando han faltado los titulares. De todos lo goles que se ha comido Miami en los ultimos partidos, creo que solo hay uno en que tal vez el hubiera podido hacer mas.

He's going to have a tough time for the rest of this season, for sure. Playing with a bunch of teenagers who just aren't ready yet for this level. But when Miami gets back all its injured starters and if they pick up a couple of other decent players, they could be a real contender next season. Gregore, Mota, and Negri are all proven top level MLS players who were critical to getting them into the playoffs last season. They are the core of this team and losing all three of them to long term injuries is a blow from which they haven't been able to recover.

Sin Pozuelo, con Mota lesionado, y con Pizarro hecho un desastre, no les queda ningun creativo hasta que llega Messi. Esto ha sido su principal problema esta temporada, a la que se le puede sumar que ahora le faltan 3 de sus 4 defensores titulares gracias a la Copa de Oro.
