How to Plant Chinese Cabbage (Wombok) Pechay Baguio, Sa Urban, Sa Baguio, Sa Bakuran PART 1

Chinese Cabbage (Napa) is a type of Chinese cabbage originating near Beijing region of China. In Benguet province of the Philippines, farmers call it Wombok. Lowlands people and buyers from Manila and other part of the Philippines call it Pechay Baguio.
My location in Baguio City and in this video I will show you how to plant Wombok.
Konteng kaalaman: Although some people call it pechay Baguio, there is no such thing as Cabbage originating here in Baguio. Except maybe to some people like me who plant wombok in their backyard. Most if not all commercial Pechay Baguio were planted by farmers in the province of Benguet. Same is true with the walis tambo Marked with Baguio City at their handle. There is no beybey (the plant used to make Walis) here in Baguio. Most Walis tambo come from the nearby Municipality of Benguet particularly in Sablan and that of San Gabriel in La Union province. They are just marked with Baguio City for Tourist purposes.
