Great reaction, Mate. This is gonna be good. At-Attin = a combo of The Twilight Zone, The Island, and The Village. Semz, this new Star Wars planet is known as, The Crown Jewel Of The Republic. But, it's since disappeared. Many suspect that this planet, At-Attin became hidden sometime between The Jedi vs. Sith Wars (of The Old Republic) or The Great Hyperspace Disaster/War between The Nihil vs. The Jedi and The Republic (of The High Republic). Maybe this planet hordes riches from different periods in the galaxy's history...inc. not just trinkets, but KNOWLEDGE (inc. Jedi and Sith Holocrons) and natural resources and technology unbeknownst to the rest of the galaxy? May The Force Be With You, Mate.
Notice how they refer to just the "Republic," not the "New Republic," suggesting that their home planet has been isolated from the galaxy for an unknown number of years. The study hall features a white and gold color scheme, reminiscent of New Republic aesthetics, which further supports the idea that this planet has been disconnected from galactic history for centuries. Moving forward, I wonder if the kids are aware of major events such as the Clone Wars, the fall of the Republic and the Jedi, the rise and fall of the Empire, and the eventual formation of the New Republic. If they aren’t, it’s likely the planet has been isolated for years. This could also explain their extensive knowledge of the Jedi, as that information may have been preserved and untouched by the rise of the Empire. The intro did an excellent job of misleading us into thinking the planet was overseen by the New Republic. Even the Jedi-related material would have made sense in that context, as I’d imagine all the remaining information on the Jedi would have been made public, allowing children to read and learn about their stories and legends.
@LittleGalaxyBoy that's right. And didn't the pirate mention 'Old Republic credits' or did they just mean 'old Republic credits'? And what was with that Barrier? Something is fishy.
