I remember when I was really young, I would go here and just stare at the mummy for hours. I thought it was so cool that there is a real mummy right in front of me, and I still think it is super cool that they still have the mummy. Also a side note, I think I saw one of the deer bones I donated to the fossil counter a while back. You will find lots of those in Minnesota.
Super thin deli cut human beings... um... I am going to now think of this at the most inappropriate times and bust out laughing and then I will have to explain. I inexplicably want a sandwich. Thanks Jacob. Bwahaha
Wow! The Science museum!!! Nice! I have had my head in that same device as in your thumbnail ! Many many years ago!!! At that time it was in Riverplace on the Mississippi River. Right by my high school De La Salle. Oh the memories.
It has been FOREVER since I've been to that museum! Make your way to Fargo(ND)-Moorhead(MN)! Clay County Museum in Moorhead has a life size viking ship that sailed from Duluth to Norway, and the FM Visitors Center in Fargo has the actual woodchipper prop from the movie 'Fargo'! There's other neat little things to visit, but those two I wanna stress checking out.
I am from MN and loved going to the science museum as a kid! The children’s museum is still cool too. Never thought you would go to Mn for a museum. So cool! I love your videos, new subscriber!
cool place! any plans to explore some abandoned houses/buildings soon? i just binged all of your abandoned houses videos and would love to see a new one!
Man, I haven't been here in YEARS, but I used to go nearly monthly. The Twin Cities Robotics Group used to meet monthly in one of the lower level classrooms. One of the group members made the bubble art machine in the front lobby. The group later moved to meet at a local makerspace, after the classrooms became unavailable. I've not been there for some time. I caught this video being shown by someone else, mid way through, and I didn't even realize where this was at right away! So much is new, but I recognized a some classic installations.
Bone collecting is okay, they just shouldn’t be encouraged to add to their collection with extra fresh specimens they caught themselves! (Also don’t go scraping up roadkill, that’s a waste of time... and dangerous.)
I see nothing wrong with it, anything can be a hobby. Just don't harm anyone, I'm sure people can have their own brainwash normal generic* values on what people should do or be. If you become good at it and able to understand it with science, you can get a very profitable career :)
The Groves elixir actually is also an Asheville thing. They built the Grove Arcade building. And yay for being in St. Paul, my hometown. I miss the science museum.
Its so neat to see some beach sand from good ol' Erie, PA. Speaking of which, come visit next summer and ride the Wacky Shack and Pirates Cove at Waldameer Park! You will definitely enjoy it!!
Dang u were right in Downtown St. Paul... I am literally 5 minutes from that museum. I love love love that place! Great to see u in the land of 10,000 lakes. Hope everyone lived up to being "Minnesota nice" while u were here. Great vid... Thanks.😁👍👍
I have a reprint of a Sears catalog from 1900. The catalog has electric belts. The basic model was $4, up to the deluxe model for $18. In today's money, the basic model was $120, and the deluxe model was $530.
Welcome to MN! If your still in St. Paul you should go to AxMan surplus on Snelling Ave & Fry! Definitely a rd side freak show shopable landfill with an iron lung, missile, giant phone & a mob history+ its haunted!!! So many funny hand made signs I could go on & on!!!
Wow! That's literally right down the street from me! On the weekends they have live science demonstrations that are fun a well. That's a bummer about the monkey though.
If you ever find yourself in South Dakota, I would recommend Sioux Falls in October. Catch the Zombie Walk and then head up the block to The Washington Pavilion. Similar to this, fun science and art things. A few other small museums around also.
Thank you for your time in doing these vids for us. I enjoy all of your vids .. it's amazing & incredible where you always go .. i appreciate this & i learn new things in every vid 🤗👍👍👍🤗 It's interesting & insane at the same time BUTT it's cool LoL EDIT: & i forgot to mention sometimes funny LoL
I think there are still Orgone Pyramids sold. It's just sand, metal scrabs and cheap minerals poured in resin. But Pig Baby is really a wonderful example of the era of advertisement illustration. We need more pig baby lunacy. Just saying as an illustrator, who misses this wonderful era.
i don't remember if it was advertised as "orgone" but i suppose yes along other properties, anyways i have one of those quack "scalar energy" pendants, i bought it for like 2$ bcs it's radioactive and i wanted to see that
Its a pity you didn't get to see it when it was an independent museum. It had so much stuff. Bob McCoy was great. He used the Preneology machine on me. I even got to sit in the original orgone accumulator! (The one behind the ropes) You should look for his book.
I think you missed the best part. One on only 2 in the world ROTO dome where an Omni max dome can rotate away to reveal a flat IMAX screen (so they can show either format). Amazing to see!
I can’t believe I never paid attention to the stories behind the taxidermy animals after all the times I’ve been there. I’m surprised kuma’s story isn’t told at como zoo as it’s in the next town over and I live not all that far from it.
I was visiting there but I didn't see him sadly because I visited in July. Also I think I remember seeing the monkey but I don't remember if I visited in the time window.
Hello Jacob. Ive seen this before, as I look at the still picture of you with that thing on your head it reminds me of a funny scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang movie where Mr Potts goes to the carnival with his hair cutting invention. Where it starts to spark and smoke cutting the guy's hair into that funny do. I can see that happening to you as you have it on your head. Lucky it didn't do that. You could of.lost your hair😂 that would of been a fuuny special effect. Thanks for these videos
We must protect The Carpetbagger with everything we got, he’s such a wholesome person.
#true #carpetbaggerforever
I will give him my life !
We shall fight for him, he is a brave and pure soul that has seen shit.
Protect the chops with our souls
Thanks, Carpetbagger! You have a good weekend!
Hearing your voice on the vibrating chair was the most hilarious thing of my hour.
I never thought you would ever come to Minnesota and especially Saint Paul just 30 min from we’re I live.
Think you misspelled where
Haven't been here since a field trip in 6th grade in 2013. Cool to see it again.
I live in Minnesota, I've been there before, but I never got to see the Monkey

I remember when I was really young, I would go here and just stare at the mummy for hours. The vibrating chair when it changed his voice it sounded like a Dalek from DOCTOR WHO
Super thin deli cut human beings... um... I am going to now think of this at the most inappropriate times and bust out laughing and then I will have to explain.
I inexplicably want a sandwich.
Thanks Jacob. Bwahaha
"Why die at fifty when you can shock yourself to death TODAY?!"
i'll take your entire stock!
Wow! The Science museum!!! Nice! I have had my head in that same device as in your thumbnail ! Many many years ago!!! At that time it was in Riverplace on the Mississippi River. Right by my high school De La Salle. Oh the memories.

Whoever made those box things is an amazing artist.

Dam I’m 11 years old and I’m 147pounds
@@fredsmagets3337 yeah, 130lbs is actually pretty thin for the average guy. I didn't realize CBer was that small.
I love the little animatronic part. I love old styled robots and animatronics.

"Ensayelo" means "audition it" in Spanish, not "Try it". The correct word is "Pruebalo"
19:19 "please exit to your right"
*Proceeds to go back the way he came*

I love that exhibit! I hope you enjoyed Fafnir the Triceratops!
"More kids need to be into bone collecting." Lol we usually call those children psychopaths
Bone collecting is okay, they just shouldn’t be encouraged to add to their collection with extra fresh specimens they caught themselves! (Also don’t go scraping up roadkill, that’s a waste of time... and dangerous.)

I was joking around guys.
SweetKeri24 i collect bones...
I like how the replies are just of people who completely missed a wonderful joke.
Que pasa Jacob! Funny with the hand. Yesterday a splinter went right under my finger. Took it off easy with my teeth.
The Groves elixir actually is also an Asheville thing. They built the Grove Arcade building. And yay for being in St. Paul, my hometown. I miss the science museum.
Interesting as always. Makes you wonder what a civilization 1000 years from now would think if they dug this up and saw it for the first time.
my dad works there and helped with the construction and saw many of these projects through
those mechanical thingies were soooo cool and artistic!!!!!!
My kids had a Jabba the Hutt, complete with green slime and little plastic paddy frogs
i love this place
Its so neat to see some beach sand from good ol' Erie, PA. Speaking of which, come visit next summer and ride the Wacky Shack and Pirates Cove at Waldameer Park! You will definitely enjoy it!!

Whang! has an interesting video on those rings.
You are such a comedian. I love your videos!!
Pretty cool museum
I went there a few years ago with my grandpa when they had the Pixar exhibit.
I have a reprint of a Sears catalog from 1900. The catalog has electric belts. The basic model was $4, up to the deluxe model for $18. In today's money, the basic model was $120, and the deluxe model was $530.
My Dad had tons of this stuff. It's locked away in storage. His career was devoted to fighting quackery.
If only I'd been here at the same time as him. I live about half an hour from the museum.

Love you videos keep up the good work
In the race with the T-Rex, you would have been a snack. But It looked to me like you did beat the bear, Jacob. Fun video!
Jacob: "These are some super thin deli-cut human beings."
Me: Thanks a lot-- now i'm craving roast beef. 😒
Wonder if there’s a museum of beauty history…if so, it would be awesome!!!
This a really cool museum!!!
Him: More kids need to be into bone collecting
Little Timmy: This is my dog' s left femur
Here’s a deli sliced human. Lol.
Author William S Burroughs was a big enthusiast of the Orgone box. He tried to get many of his friends to also become followers of Orgone therapy.
7:58 “lets sit here for *whese*20 secs
Good one Jacob 😁👍🏻
Doc Brown!! Deli cut?? LOL!!
I love the one close to Illinois or in Illinois i cant remember

Orgone therapy.
There's a museum in rangeley Maine. William Reich
Very interesting
Welcome to Minnesota
I've been to this museum tons of times. I like it. If I had known you were coming I could have given you a tour.

I first heard of orgone in Woody Allen's 1973 movie, Sleeper.
What normal sized adult weights less than 125? (I mean I do but I have issues i.e recovering from a eating disorder)
Yes
Another great vid

I was visiting there but I didn't see him sadly because I visited in July. Also I think I remember seeing the monkey but I don't remember if I visited in the time window.
