    How long or how many years will the cedar wood seating last? Any type of upkeep or cleaning for their longevity?

      The cedar will last many many years. Depending on your needs it may not need to be replaced for 10-15 years however sanding it occasionally will help it keep even longer.

    do you have to drain the water every time if you live in below freezing temps or will it eventually thaw it out?

      You don’t no unless it drops really really cold. Depending on your area - but we don’t drain it after each use even in the deep winter. For extreme cold temps it is suggested to drain it instead of having it freeze totally solid.

    How do you regulate the heat

    • @hello_goodland
      @hello_goodland  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      By adding more firewood to get to your desired tub. The more fire, the hotter it gets. If you get it too warm, you just add a bit of cold water like you would with a regular bathtub.

      You can add bromine, chlorine or hydrogen peroxide if you want to keep it.

    so there is no way to control the temperature, you just start a fire and hope you will like the water temperature?

    • @hello_goodland
      @hello_goodland  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi Scott, its actually quite simple. Just like heating water on your stove, when you stop adding fuel (wood, electricity, natural gas, propane etc) the water temp stops climbing. So once you start the fire, you let it burn for 90-120 minutes and once it gets to your desired temp you stop adding fuel and it will hold that temp for many hours. If you get carried away and it gets too hot, just run some cold water in there for a couple minutes like you would with a bathtub.
